| I would suggest a Introductory course for beginners in Printmaking/Silkscreening because, this class
was fun but very difficult because we were all very limited in our knowledge of this craft. It was a lot
of work for beginners to try to accomplish. I am not really an artist by nature, but I like art and being
creative so I took this course. I did not know anything about this type of art, and it was very fun to
learn, but difficult to get started. |
| This class was really good, it combined my passion for my culture and my creative side |
| Kumu is awesome. She is truly an asset to the university as she is always
happy to lend her expertise to her class as a whole, and to each individual
student. Kumu is very accommodating and always willing to invest extra time
in the studio for her student. Her determination and commitment to her
students is what makes it possible for her students to successfully complete
this course.
My only suggestion to improve this course is to offer this course in two
separate sessions devoted to screen printing only. There is too much to cover
in this course in a single semester |
