17. What did you find most valuable and helpful about the course?
She put up a study guide for the exams.
I like that the way Professor Le included videos, class discussions and in- class activities. It kept me awake and motivated to learn in that sort of environment.
I liked how the power points were available online as well. Even though we went through a fast pace during the lectures, we were able to go on laulima and refer back to the lectures if necessary.
I enjoyed learning about the different concepts, especially Sternberg's Theory of Love, about Autonomy, and Erikson's stages of Identity.
This course helped me understand my adolescent years. it explained in depth why things happen the way they do when we are teens. All the information I learned in this class will be useful to everybody especially to parents who are raising soon-to-be adolescents.
EVERYTHING IN THIS CLASS WAS HELPFUL AND VALUABLE. I have related every concept in this class to my own experiences and the experiences of the people around me. I have a better understanding of my adolescence and of the way I am today.
Lectures had valuable information
18. What did you find least valuable and helpful about the course?
I had a hard time understanding her during class, and when I would ask for help she still had a hard time answering my question. Even though she gave us a study guide she only gave it to us the day before.
I would have liked to have a study guide throughout all the test rather than just a review game. I like having a set guide knowing that I know all the info needed.
Having the class at 4:30PM was very unhelpful because I am just burnt out and tired from my previous classes. By then, I just want to take my daily nap. Also, you knew a lot of information about California statistics and rules. Since your living in Hawai'i now, I think you should freshen up on the Hawai'i rules, laws, and stats. Some information you mentioned in class is kind of off.
The guidelines for the paper were unclear and I would have appreciated talking more about the paper in detail during class time. I would have also liked to have class time to work on our group project.
EVERYTHING. Because of this class, I have a greater interest in adolescence and would love to pursue a career working with adolescents. I took the greatest interest in attachment styles and the cognitive development: prefrontal cortex, amygdala, etc.
The guest lectures really did not help very much. Seemed like it was a waste of a class

28. Please list your suggestions for improving the course and/or the instructor's teaching style and methods.
earlier times for study guide and explain some of her lectures a bit more.
Like I mentioned, please learn more about the Hawai'i juvenile laws and school courses available. You have so much knowledge about California, but what about Hawai'i? For example, drivers ed here on the islands is not what you thought. We don't just sit in the classroom all day long and learn about driving through a book. We actually learn this stuff at the beginning, then go out and drive with our instructor. We also cannot graduate until we have accumulated so many hours of driving with our instructor and a licensed adult.
I enjoyed the extra credit opportunities, but would like to have more opportunities for extra credit. The first test was also pretty tough.
I personally did not care for a study guide but I saw that other students benefited greatly from having a study guide before an exam.
Give out the rubrics more than 2 weeks ahead that way we do not have to wait to know what is expected out of us
29. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
Thao Le is overall a decent professor, she is a nice person it was just I had a hard time understanding some of the things that she taught me and some of her grading rubrics were a bit challenging but still manageable.
she is a fun and engaging teacher.
she is a very nice, humble lady who does her best to fulfill the needs of us students. Although, she should freshen up about the Hawai'i lifestyle and UHM school system.
Dr. Le is very knowledgeable and has high expectations for her students.
She is extremely knowledgable of adolescence and emerging adulthood. She is very approachable and helpful. Ultimately she helped me with narrowing down my interests and focus on what I want to do as a career.

33. Other comments:
I liked the fact that for the second exam, you gave us a study guide. I think that is why I did better for this exam because I knew what to study and what not. The first one was a trip because I was trying to cram everything in my head, without knowing what will be on the exam. So for future references, provide a study guide for your classes, unless you don't like them :P (just kidding).

14. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
Being in groups, it helped making learning easier and fun
The Videos presented were carefully chosen and left a huge impression. I appreciated the lectures being available online.
I enjoyed the class participation activities because they forced us to pay more attention to the lectures and get involved.
The powerpoints
Group work
I felt this class was valuable because it not only taught you the basic foundations but it also made you think and correlate what you learned to the world around you.
Adolescence experiences that affect us in adulthood.
The most valuable to this course was being provided a study guide from Ashley (T.A) that was not given to other students from her previous semesters. What also helped was the power points/lectures that are posted in Laulima as a way to help me prepare better for the exams. The movies provided in the lectures was well interesting and very much related to the topic of class discussion. I do wish we could have had more time to watched the entire video.
There was much relevance to my life and life in general. I could apply concepts and understand the process I went through and endured during adolescence. The theories made sense and I could apply bits and pieces to my experiences. By taking this course I could understand many phenomenons that occur during adolescence that I never understood before. I was able to relate to things covered in class and understand processes and identify with many things mentioned throughout the course. It helped me with a lot of confusion issues and I am grateful I took this course.
everything
When you can relate to what she's talking about, it can be quite interesting. Talking about family and understanding different roles each member holds in a household (siblings & order) etc
Understanding how parenting skills affect the outcome of your childrens' behaviors and attitudes towards certain things.
I really valued all the statistics and videos we saw. Usually, those things make everything a little more real and relatable and help us learn better.
I found that in each of the lectures I was able to find some importance and interest in the topic.
The professor! She is great :) The group design of the class was also fun too.
I think that learning about how to work well in a group was the most valuable aspect of the class. The group project really helps with gaining the skills in working with others.
Applying what I learned to real world situations
All the topics covered by the instructor.
powerpoints and guest lectures were helphful
This course gave a good overview of adolescence and early adulthood.
Personal and work related experiences the teacher had and talked to the class about.
I loved the fact that Professor Le was active with her students. Always engaging in some sort of verbal or physical activity. The only way to really understand child development is through your own experiences. With each concept to understand, she made it a little easier to learn by applying the concept through our own experiences, while also sharing our experiences with classmates (only if you wanted to). The study guides were very helpful, as well as the TA's assistance.
The most valuable aspect of the course was the presentation slides that accompanied Professor Le's lectures. In the powerpoint slides, she showed related videos to help explain concepts. The guest speakers also was valuable to the course.
How the professor used examples that students could relate to making the material very understanding.
The videos
the powerpoints on laulima and the study guides and the TA
I thought the guest speaker she brought in was a great asset to her criteria. I wish she gave the speaker a week or so to really get more personal sources about the issues of suicide and coping. Thao Le was a great speaker and there was never a boring day for me. I was always awake and interested.
15. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
nothing
Nothing.
I thought everything that was covered was pretty useful, but I think we should have spent more time covering the last few chapters.
Exams.
Didnt like guest speakers
None
What was least valuable during the semester is that it would help to have a quick review before each exam. Although we did have one review I felt that we were in a rush with the remaining 15 minutes of class. I felt that we should have been given more time to ask questions and review. Also, I felt that the class should be more engaging with group activities rather than lecture. It does not necessarily motivate students to learn.
Not much really.
nothing
Understanding Piaget and all theory founders are good to know, but over studdied
None. All were very important things that are very useful in life.
Nothing
Activities including holding up papers to answer the questions needed to be improved.

I thought that the paper was least valuable to the course.
nothing, everything was great
lectures
the tempo of the class, a bit fast.
I wish she talked about the projects more and the paper. I would have liked maybe 10-15 minutes of knowing what she wanted out of these projects. I think it works good if you have a short intro and then when it comes closer to the date it is due the paper is discussed again in further detail about what you expect from these papers, the format, how it will be graded, etc.

25. Please list your suggestions for improving the course and/or the instructor's teaching style and methods.
-speak slower, and go through slides slower -speak a little louder, or use a microphone -put a little more information on the powerpoint slides so that it easier to follow and understand
I think Le's teaching style and methods are pretty good and helpful as it is :)
I wish that time was allotted for in-class group time. I found it difficult to meet with my group when they were available and I was not. With so many people in a group, I felt that it was hard to find a common time to meet.
I had some problems with my group meeting outside of class, so I think that it would have helped if we had more time to meet during class. Also, it would have helped if we had more test prep (reviewed) in class before each exam.
Power point slides or teachers opinion, pick one not both. Makes taking notes for tests as a student more difficult.
More interactive
I cant think of any, i feel she used many different teaching styles to fulfill the different learning styles.
n/a
No group projects.
-add more activities -offer help to students and ask at the end of the class if there are any questions
I enjoyed her class. She is very knowledgeable. She also is also what I envision as a true "professor". The way she dresses, talks and her style of teaching is fun, engaging, and professional.
speak a little slower. sometimes it was hard to catch what was said during lecture. picking own groups for the project would have helped. was hard to get together with random people i knew nothing about because we all worked or had sports. make a study guide for the exams because there was so much to study
Slides were very vague, study guide was not helpful for tests, unorganized activities, tests were pretty hard.
NOTHING. :) You're doing a great job professor!
I really liked how she gave us the option after exam one to improve our grade after listening to the guest speakers and giving them feedback or dropping one exam and doubling the final. It shows she is very understanding and wants her students to succeed. Some people need to be pushed in the beginning to do well in the end and I feel that helped me out.
The only thing that i found could have improvement would be getting test back. Making it easier for us to see not only our test scores but the questions that we got wrong could help with studying for the final that is cumulative.
Maybe having clearer study guides, or outlines of major ideas to focus on for exams
Sometimes she speeds up while lecturing and it's difficult to keep up.

II liked having the powerpoints available and the study guides. They were helpful. I liked the times when we worked with partners. I didn't like it as much when we worked in groups because harder to get that many people to focus on one thing. Would be nice to have a little more instruction on creative projects, they were a little confusing at first as to what we should do.
Teacher would speak quicly at times, and this happened frequently. I would say slow down, cover material that is most important than work from there. With the presentation focus on content more than the smaller things, such as timing, transitions, etc.
I think if anything, really emphasizing that time is an issue when doing the Group presentation. I think groups had the impression that the information about their topic was more important than the actual organization part of the presentation.
One improvement could be to allow some class days to work on the group presentation. Another improvement could be to have more time to review for exams during class.
I think this course is perfect the way it is. I really liked this course!
none.
slow down on giving information because it was hard to keep up. Don't do more than one topic in a lecture, it is harder to digest.
NONE! class was great. I enjoyed the activites and lessons.
she does a great job! I have nothing other than what I said above.
26. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
Professor Le is a great teacher and very knowledgeable. However, she goes through lectures a little to quickly for me to keep up.
Shes a great teacher that knows what she's doing and teaching. I could tell that she really wants the students to do their best in the class and really get something out of it.
She is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about the subject.
Thao Le is a great professor. Her class was very interesting and I learned a lot throughout the semester.
Average.
Good teacher
I feel that she is very knowledgeable in the field and is able to teach it in a way that is affective. She also makes you think about how you can use what you learned in real life which is good.
She is very knowledgeable of the course content. She creates stimulating projects, papers, group assignments, and exams that challenge the students to demonstrate their understanding of the materials. Professor Le is also very helpful. Overall, she is a excellent Professor!
good at getting student involved in discussions
My overall evaluation of this class was a good experience. For students who do take this course,he/she will learn a lot but for those who decide to take this class for fun I am not sure if he/she will enjoy sitting in class listening to a lecture the entire time.
great! Would definitely recommend her!
good professor
not impressed or favored. She means well, but is very unorganized or at least comes off that way.
She is an excellent teacher! Nothing is really vague about her lectures. Very straight forward and understanding.
Thao is very enthusiastic and knows her material. It is always more enjoyable and easier to learn from a teach like that.
...that she has done a great job at not only teaching us the material but sparking a greater interest in adolescents and as a secondary education major i feel like i now know more about what goes on in their head then i did going in. Very Good Teacher!
Very good teacher, wished you taught more courses.
Intelligent, fun, nice, outgoing, engaging, interesting
Great awesome down to earth kind sweet teacher! Highly recommended
First time taking he class, if she teaches any other course than FAMR 333. Overall, she is a great professor.
excellent
She is a great teacher and knows the information. I thought she engaged the class pretty well, they were kind of hard to engage though. I felt like I learned from this course.
Good teacher, just slow down when speaking, and focus on bigger picture, because the class is so big. If the class was smaller than focus could be narrowed.
Great teacher. I enjoyed her class each and every class. Very encouraging and engaging with students. Always wants to improve herself. Whether it's reading the eCafe reviews or talking to students after class and asking how she can make learning easier. She genuinely cares about her students and wants everyone to succeed, but you have to be willing to ask for help.
very enthusiastic about the subject. I liked how she provided lots of visual aids and videos to accompany what is being taught.
Great teacher
very good! even those taught on a fast pace, she knew what she was teaching and was very helpful.
AN AWESOME PROFESSOR!!
Solid teacher and I really like how she grouped us up. That helped me make new friends and made us hold one another more accountable. It was also more interactive because of that.

Great. This course was very interesting and i felt applied alot to me.
A very good course with an excellent teacher
I enjoyed the class and would recommend it to others.

Good class
I feel that it is a great course that gives you the foundations you need in this field and it makes you correlate it.
The course content was stimulating and the course work challenged me to show my understanding of the material. The various group assignments and paper assignment also allowed students to share their personal experiences (which was fun and creative)
I can honestly say that Ashley was a big help in preparing me for each exam. She quickly emailed me back and provided me with further information as to projects, questions, and etc. She is a great T.A.!!!
satisfied.
a bit difficult with the group project and a final paper because work would get in the way of meeting up but it was a good course.
i wouldnt recommend it, maybe take it online instead.
I enjoyed it soooo much! My favorite class by far.
great course to take. I'm a KRS major, but this was an option as part of my career pathway graduation program and I'm glad I took it because anyone can benefit from this course.
I really enjoyed this class and would suggest it to everyone
Great class
I liked it a lot, I wish there were maybe a couple little assignments that we could do to buffer our grades though.
It's an good class if you want to expand your understanding on the subject.
Good course, highly cecommended
This was a great course i actually learned a lot of useful information.
I thought that I learned so much about this course and was able to gain more about this specific area in Family Resources(FAMR)
i would highly recommend others to take it.
Good course, covered a wide range of aspects relating to this age. A good foundation to go from if you want to learn more and work with this age group.
Good, Learned new things that I can use as a coach.
After the first exam my grade wasn't the greatest and that's when I realized that I had to be more engaged in the class. After the first exam, I went to class each day. I loved the fact that after each class, I always had some sort of information to share with my boyfriend, friends, or family. Actually going to class and listening in one thing, but it's another when you remember the information and actually share it with others. The topics were very interesting, probably because the class is "Adolescent & Emerging Adulthood" and in college, we are Emerging adults, so that's why it pertains to the majority of college students!
This course was very interesting, and caught my interest because I could relate being that this course was about my age.
Very good course! Loved it!
Great course
very interesting and easy because it was relatable.
GREAT! i learned so much about my "old" self. This was a great class!
the course was fun and knowledgeable. I would recommend it.

Professor Le is a good professor. She is knowledgeable and shows enthusiasm in class. Teaching style is good.
loved all the videos that were shown. it was a lot more interesting to watch than videos seen in other classes.
Keep up the good work !
Again, maybe having a few smaller assignments that we could do to help our grades would be beneficial.
She was a really great teacher. Very engaging to her students and seemed like she really did care for her students.

18. What did you find most valuable and helpful about the course?
Guest speakers
video clips pertaining to what we were covering in class
We learned a lot information, especially statistics. Professor knew her information very well.
i can not think of anything particularly valuable about the course itself. lectures were only interesting half the time. group or paired off discussions were not specific or structured enough (we didnt have enough time to discuss or partners were confused). videos shown were good but sometimes left us with unanswered questions. coming to class was valuable to pass the class.
i enjoyed being able to relate the material in the class to my own life
life lessons about adolescence
THE PAPER WAS HELPFUL, I WAS ABLE TO MAKE CONNECTIONS TO MY LIFE WITH CONCEPTS DISCUSSED IN LECTURE AND IN THE TEXT.
i learned about adolescence and it was interesting to learn more about a phase in my life that i have already lived out. I could relate to the teachings since they were topics that i have experienced myself.
When she had her slides she just had her main points and she then elaborated on them. This made us take good notes and soak in the material better.
Everything; the issues and development of teens through early adulthood. Very insightful class :D
It was good to learn about teen problem but also protective factors in many topics.
The powerpoints were easy to follow. Interesting subjects
I found the videos relating to the topics covered in class the most helpful.
How adolescents develop and the problems that they are facing during their puberty.
I found that i was able to relate this course and the thing we learned with my past and actual life experiences
I really enjoy the fact that I can relate it to my own experience, especially understanding the reasons things happened the way they did during my adolescence.
This course was helpful for life lessons that we can take out to the real world.
Lectures were on point and related to be book material

The course content, and what I learned about adolescent and early adulthood development, etc. Providing examples that make it relevant was helpful. OH!! The videos we watched were all very informational, and encouraged me, personally, to become more interested in the subject matter.
theories to raise children
Ms. Thao Le was an awesome teacher. What I really enjoyed was that she would give examples of real life situations which made it easier to understand and memorize the information.
Good explanations and videos
19. What did you find least valuable and helpful about the course?
no study guide
Sometimes hard to communicate with professor.
- not having access to slides on laulima. trying to write every single thing down is frustrating and also distracting so i don't listen to the lecture. especially when the second exam had so many questions dealing with exact percentages. - group presentation was not a good project when nine+ people are assigned to one group. this makes scheduling and preperation extremely difficult. also, a 20 minute presentation means that each person gets only 2 minutes to speak. this is even less if there is a video, skit, q&a, etc. it is difficult to display ones understanding of a topic in so little time.
everything was valuable and helpful
THE FIRST EXAM DR. LE DID NOT PROVIDE A STUDY GUIDE WHICH MADE ME FEEL UNPREPARED FOR THE EXAM WHICH I DID POORLY ON. (SO DID MAJORITY OF THE CLASS AS WELL) FOR THE GROUP PROJECT, THE GROUP SIZES WERE SO LARGE THAT IT MADE IT DIFFICULT FOR EVERYONE TO MEET UP/KEEP IN CONTACT.
some sections were a little boring but what class doesnt have that?
Nothing.
Nothing. All were very useful information needed to know.
I personally didn't like the group activities. I rather just learned individually.
Although many of the students wanted a study guide I believe it was not necessary. The study guide for the second exam covered basically everything you taught in class. The grades were very fair. Since this is a 300+ level class I believe it was fair that you did not give us a study guide for the first exam. I really encourage you to keep it that way. I expect study guides for 100+ level classes...
I found that the fact that we were not able to access the power points on laulima made it difficult. I found myself having to worry about writing down all the notes during class, rather than listening to the lecture.
all the materials are important for me.
I found the amount of work load given at once too much to truly understand
I didn't find anything really not valuable and helpful about this class. I felt that I could apply the many lessons I have learned from class.
Every thing in the class was helpful and valuable for the course
Nothing, i think everything was very helpful
N/A
The instructor went very quickly through slides. I eventually stopped taking notes because I had too many gaps and took notes from the text later.
no powerpoints on laulima
The powerpoints were not posted, go thru the information too fast sometimes, TA was no real help, there was no study guide to help us study, it was just a paper of the titles of all the slides from the power points.
the teachers lack of communication skills, she wouldn't compromise anything that we talked about. she thought that the course should be number one on our priority list. her TA did NOTHING! it was a pathetic course!
A couple of the speakers that came in, I think, were least helpful. I can't remember which one specifically, but I just feel like the speaker didn't interest me. She was a little confusing I think that's why.

32. Please list your suggestions for improving the course and/or the instructor's teaching style and methods.
no
post powerpoint slides on laulima or go through them slower so we can take down all the information. it's hard to write down a lot of information while trying to listen and writed down key things you are saying at the same time that's not on the slides
I understand why Professor Le does not post her power points; but, if that's the case, a study guide or outline of subjects/key terms for students to fill with the information they've accumulated form their notes would be very helpful for exam preparation.
Make instructions for assignments more clear.
- group projects should have less people or more time to present. - sit in and watch diana kim, or any other famr professor who has been here for a few sememsters, teach a class.
posting the slides helps to be able to review material after class
you are getting paid to be a teacher, its not enough to expect the student to be able to know everything taught in the class and in the book, there is no way a student can be expected to remember all the material, it needs to be broken down in to smaller sections for tests, and the student needs a better idea of what to study for the test, an study guide would help, even if its just main idea's of what is on the test and NOT just all the bold letters in the text book that doesnt help anyone!! help the students out give them a more broken down study guide for the test, if you wont do that at least give access to the slides!!!
-STUDY GUIDES FOR EACH EXAM -SMALLER GROUPS FOR GROUP PROJECTS
the only things that i would suggest is to maybe send the slides to the students through laulima. when she lectures she speaks a little too fast. she has a lot of information in her head and she knows the topics quite well that its impressive. shes an experienced teacher but she just needs to slow down and send the notes to the class.
Slowing the tempo down on the slides; sometimes goes too fast.
Post power points online, prepare a study guide for exams, elaborate expectations more clearly for assignments.
more activities to keep students involved.
I really enjoyed the videos maybe more the powerpoints were a little monotonous dislike the questions that had to deal with percentage on the exam
Maybe post power points on laulima.
it would be great if she gives us a study guide for the exams and give us more time to write a note during a class.
It would help if the notes weren't so much to write since the slides was not posted on laulima. Also a more specific study guide would be nice because when we did get a study guide it pretty much just listed everything
-Probably going on a slow pace when teaching -Having various activities which are hands-on and relatable to the matter at hand -Probably having quick quizzes so that students are on track of the material -Having a study guide
It was be helpful to put the slides on laulima and to have study guide for our test
I liked the way Professor Le went about presenting the material. Lecture slides were good to take notes off of and videos from time to time helped by being examples of the material. I dont see any need for improvements. Group activities were also very helpful because we were able to discuss with eachother our own opinions and insights
n/a
Slow down with presentation. Not providing power points on laulima is a great way to encourage students to read the text and come to class, but a study guide would be good for getting a better understanding of the material. It's not cheating, it's just being specific.
post powerpoint slides
If you are going to go through the power points very fast, don't put so much information on it
A NEW TEACHER!
Because we are used to professors providing us with lecture notes or study guides it would've been more helpful. Although it didn't have a negative effect on me, I noticed it had a negative effect on others. I think if the professor notified the class that she wasn't gonna be providing her powerpoint slides or notes online at the beginning of the semester, everyone would've payed more attention from the beginning, and therefore grades would've shown better.
33. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
no
She is a very nice lady, and easy to approach with questions.
good teacher with good intentions. has potential to be a great teacher here.
its great to have a professor who displays an understanding and passion for what they teach.
need to be more specific for the students not make them work so hard and study everything and only a few things they studied will be on the test.
NOT ONE OF MY FAVORITE FAMR CLASSES.
she is a good teacher and she displays enthusiasm when she teaches the class. she is very informative and is very knowledgeable about her course. She always answers questions when someone asks. She also interacts with the class and thinks of different activities to incorporate within the class to make her teachings a little bit clearer.
Amazing professor who I would recommend to any student interested in Adol-Early Adulthood.
I feel she is very knowledgeable in this field but needs to work on her teaching methods and communicating her expectations to the class more effectively
good teacher and gave many examples to better understand things.
great teacher!
She is very knowledgable about the subject and is passionate in teaching it to her students. Overall I found her class very interesting and challenging.
She is well prepared for her lecture but she does not give us enough time to write a note.
She was a good teacher and a truly nice and respectful instructor.
She is one of the most helpful professors I have had. She is extremely open to the many ideas students have and loves to get feedback. I really like that she has office hours and very flexible with other students' schedule to accommodate their busy schedule. She is really willing to help you if you're having a hard time. Overall, she is a great professor.

Great instructor with a Passion for the subject.
not bad
Very knowledgeable in the subject, but wasn't very intersting when taught to us
-- snipped --
I enjoyed her as a teacher for this subject. Although majority of our class failed the first exam, I don't feel like her expectations were too high. I think our class just didn't pull their own weight on effective note taking. I think this is because of the fact that most other professors post their notes online, and therefore, most students don't bother to take notes. So again, you should mention at the beginning of the semester that you will not be posting your notes online, and there won't be a study guide for the exams. I also appreciated how you make us take notes so we can improve on our note taking skills. I felt like this was very helpful, and I actually learned a lot more this way. In my other classes I don't really take notes because everything was posted. Your method was very effective, I felt.
Good teacher. Knows her stuff, keeps your attention.

video
The videos and case studies integrated into lectures were very interesting. It's nice seeing how theories and concepts apply in real life.
I liked the group presentations. We were given a lot of time to get to know our group members through in class activities and working as a group was fun.
i don't know
the video clips were a great tool
group work
REFLECTION PAPER
i liked the group project. fortunately the group i ended with was an excellent group and i was able to learn about my classmates and the value of teamwork.
The material interested me the most.
Videos and quizzes.
I liked learning more about emerging adulthood since that's the age range we are in.
I enjoyed the group work that we did during class.
Group project made me to apply and connect the materials that i learned in class and in a real field.
I liked how things we learned were things that were useful in life and things that i can relate too
I loved learning about the different types of things adolescents go through. I didn't realize that media had such a huge impact on adolescents.
Group activities
I liked working in groups because it gives us a chance to think on our own and present what we know from the material that we were given

40. Which aspects of the course did you like least?
exams
The group project was the most frustrating aspect of the class, particularly when we weren't given a rubric or list of expectations for our presentation.
I think most student would be more motivated to participate for extra credit, not candy.
i don't know
the group project was my least favorite because it was difficult to have a large group be able to meet at the same time with such busy end of the semester schedules
no slides from power points! no study guide for tests! students needed to do it all on there own!
GROUP PROJECT
it was a pretty good class
Groups
Wish they were more opportunities to accumulate a good grade.
I didn't like the paper because i felt that three pages was to short to maximize the potential of the paper.
no study guide for the exams no time to write down a note
The amount of notes because when we were given exams a lot of the information we were required to study were not relevant to the tests
I didn't really enjoy taking the exams. The exams were comprehensive and abstract. You really had to understand the concept in order to apply it to answering the exam questions.
not being able to look up notes if i missed class
Sometimes it got boring just taking notes off the of the slides.
