| The actual project of doing a needs assessment and trying to use what was
learnt in class to apply while working on the project. |
| Conducting an actual needs assessment was very valuable. I also appreciated how students who took the course previously came back to present their needs assessment projects. It was also very helpful to have fieldwork days to have class time to work on our needs assessment. |

| It would be helpful if she would be clearer in what is expected in the projects, etc. It seems that not
everyone realizes that what she is saying is valuable. |
| Much of the course content was devoid of examples, and the assignements we did in groups in
class were very boring. The professor typing our comments on powerpoint in class is not a good
use of time, and we don't learn from it. It actually takes away from conversation and flow. |
| It was very hard to determine what exactly she wanted from the papers given the specificity of all of
our projects. More clarity is needed in instructions. |
| Although feedback was given to edit and strength the sections of the paper submitted, it was not clear from the guidelines provided as to what was expected. It is sometimes difficult to understand and draw parallels between the guidelines and how those guidelines apply to any specific needs assessment. |

| It is important to emphasize what chapters to read every week in the book... it seems that I got a
copy for nothing. All the handouts and extra resources would have been sufficient.
Overall, I like Dr. Sy. I am happy to be in her class. |
