5. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?

I enjoyed learning about a variety of topics. Especially because I have little background information about global issues, this course was very informative for me.

The breadth of the subject matter was very valuable.

I especially enjoyed the online component of the class.

I love the fact that this class was online. It really does save a lot of time and allows students who work and live far from campus to be able to do all of these things effectively. I cant express how important it is to have more online courses such as this one. I learned a lot more in this class not being in a class room then my other classes where i sit there and just listen to the professor lecturing. This course saved me time, money, and gas expenses. GET MORE ONLINE COURSES!!!!

I just really enjoyed the textbook, but most importantly, the skype discussions.

Sharing ideas of how we look on particular subject of world political. The course is writing intensive.

The discussions and expansion were most valuable.

reading the text and reading other related texts

reading introducing global issues. also all of the additional reading that i did because of it.

Direct examples and links for additional information presented by Professor Kent during the chats.

The Expansion response papers were helpful because it forced me to look deeper into all the topics covered.

I loved the book. It was very helpful and I loved that each chapter was written by a different author. I also enjoyed the chats since it helped me get to know my classmates and professor.

6. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?

I think that there was a slightly excessive amount of writing for this course.

The emphasis on paper formatting in grading was least valuable.

The commentary assignments were on the whole pretty much worthless; they functioned as a regurgitation of the readings, and did not necessarily allow for a greater comprehension of the material.

I think everything about this class was perfect!

I can't really think of anything. I really enjoyed this course

The least valuable aspect is the chatting part. Unfortunately, I did not like the chat part. The participant did not talk or answer in the requested questions as much as I expect, but more on things "around" the question. We did not hit to answer the respective question.

Commentary was the least valuable as it seemed so redundant.

Way too much mindless writing.

the online skype chats it was too fast to read, absorb, think and write a thoughtful and insightful, complete sentense response.

The lack of resources and additional readings presented to the class, more articles to support reading would really be beneficial

I didnt like the chats and felt that i didnt get anything out of them.
