13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?

I like the connect problems. It helps me know what were doing and the right way to do it.

I like the fact that we were able to do most of the assignments on the connect program and most test on the laulima. I was great we were given a second chance to increase our test scores by taking a in class test besides the laulima

IÊ»m a first year college student majoring in accounting and although it seems like itÊ»ll only get tougher I enjoyed being in this class and doing the assignments!

The way Mr. Tagawa explained things was very easy to grasp things. I enjoyed the in class work and going over each problems was helpful

I like discussions in the class and Mr. Tagawa answers questions effectively.

I liked the laulima test and connect because we had enough time to do it and I felt like I focused more better when i was at home.

I enjoyed the in class review and activities that discussed each chapter. Mr. Tagawa went through every process step-by-step so that each student would understand the material. I appreciated the in-class tests. I felt that the Laulima tests did not allow us to apply the learned material effectively. The homework was just enough without being overwhelming.

14. Any suggestions to improve this course?

No its great.

You shouldn't do in class tests. To much pressure.

A group activity may have assisted in building academic bonds with other students. However, for the most part, I was satisfied. In the event that Mr. Tagawa is not teaching this class next semester, I suggest that the teacher who does continues in-class testing rather than have tests on Laulima which does not allow students to use the information and skills learned through out the semester.

Nothing Its good. I got all the information and the work.

I would give more time for the in class test that were given cuz i always felt rushed to get it complete

I would give the students a front and back cheat sheet because sometimes the in class test was hard.

In order to improve it I would keep chapter testing in class. Other than that, I wouldn't change anything.

Tagawa is an awesome teacher! Loved this class!

I feel I got lucky this semester to have a teacher that was easy to understand and very helpful.

As for me, it is effective.

it was alright

I believe Darren Tagawa was successful in teaching not only I, but the entire class. His teaching methods inspired me to learn, and practice all skills learned. I would definitely recommend him to other students.

He wants everyone to get a great understanding to the subject and the work their doing.

He was a great instructor and very knowledgeable about the subject matter. He was always willing to go the extra mile for me if i asked for it. He even helped me with my work on his personal time by texting back and forth till I figured it out.

Great teacher and I learned what I needed to learn.

A great teacher too bad he isn't a permanent teacher!!!!!!

Mr. Tagawa is effective instructor.

he's a fun teacher to have.

I believe Darren Tagawa should continue to teach this course. He knows what he is doing and explains it in a way that is easily comprehended. He expects the best from each student, and if we can't be at our best, he still inspires us to try.

I really enjoyed taking this course. It is because of this class that I have considered changing my major to accounting.
