18. Other comments:
Since it was an on-campus class I expected lectures. The computer program was a little difficult at times-marking work incorrect because it was not in simplest form or off by a hundredth of a point. Prof Whitehead was very helpful and always available.
She is a very informative teacher. She gives each individual student her attention if needed. She is also very good at making a problem very understandable. Overall awesome teacher.
Thanks for the great semester! I recommend this teach to fellow students!
Professor Whitehead is on it. She knows where every student is and she kept us updated on our progress weekly. Very helpful with answering questions.
Professor Whitehead is a wonderful teacher! If it wasn't for her positive and cheerful demeanor, I would have been way less motivated to complete this course. Math is not an easy subject for me but Professor Whitehead made it bearable.
The book is a waste of money. It does not give reasons why we need to do specific actions. I would prefer a lecture type class so I can ask specific questions as I'm learning new concepts rather than try to figure it out on my own. Ms. Whitehead and Daniel Lamadrid were excellent in explaining everything the book didn't.
Was a great Math 103 course. I was lucky to have done all the work early so that I could take the exams then finish the class early. It was very rewarding and relieving to know that I was done early, less work on my shoulders and a challenge overcome. I am going to miss this course for sure.

18. Other comments:
Math is subject the a lot students struggle with, the "new way" of teaching 103 is great in the sense that students know what is expected of them upfront & allows them to move at their own pass. However, this also presents an issue, with work being imputed into computers doesn't allow for students to show an instructor their knowledge of the material (via working out problems on paper). That being said I think there needs to be way to be more flexible when it comes to the course "pass" grade requirement. specifically regarding the exams, as it stand now if a student passes everything but ONE exam (less than a score of 70%) the student is not able to pass the course with a C; I don't think that it is fair assessment of the students' knowledge.
Very fair class!
She was very helpful and nice. I liked that she would do a lecture before an upcoming exam.
