13. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher?
his knowledge in accounting.
Professor Hartman is well organized and knew very well the subject matter . He makes sure the class is lively and and gets everyone to participate in class. He encourages us,students, to study hard. He do his very best to share his knowledge to us and makes sure we understood him.
His major strengths are the enthusiasm to the class and well knowledge of accounting.
He is very organized and grades assignments/exams quickly.
He's very helpful and knows the subject very well
he is a very smart professor, and he is very knowledgable in the subject.
He was very knowledgable about the subject of accounting and helped us realize the real life applications. He did not just read the text.
14. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor?
add more excitement into lectures.
I would suggest he to show more real-life examples to the class.
I would suggest not reading off the power points and elaborate more on the lecture.
more in-class work and not so much online work would be great.
I tried to take ACC 201 before and he was a way better teacher and made it easy to understand concepts.
15. How did the instructor show concern for students?
he always answered questions promptly.
He reminded us for studying the materials and be prepared for the exam.
Curves exam grades.
yes, i fell behind this semester due to a death in the family, and he helped me catch up and progress in the class.
He would talk to individuals struggling. For me personally he pulled me aside and talked to me about what was going on and how i could stay on track and be successful.
16. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not?
sure, why not.
Yes. He knows very well the course subject and make the class lively.
Yes. He cares his students very much and acts as a good teacher of accounting very well.
If you are a self-directed learner, then yes.

Attending his class is very funny as he usually used attempted humor with his materials.
He is a very nice man, responds to e-mails very quick.
Mahalo again for a great semester or pushing myself and succeeding in this class.
I think he is the easiest to understand accountant I've ever met. Not offense to the other accounting teachers but Mr. Hartman has the ability to speak better then the others. He can clarify points much stronger and with more clarity then my previous class.
