| I found most valuable in this class is the differet management styles we were exposed to and can make our own style. |

| I really liked the Connect quizzes and the in class lectures. The lectures were short and to the point.
We had just the right amount of time in class to learn the day's lesson. |

| This semester i fell behind after the deaths of 3 family member and Vanessa was very compassionate and gave me time to make up the assignments. |

| She always stressed that if we had any questions or were confused to contact her immediately. She
is so prompt about her responses. |
| She takes the time to help you if you encounter a problem with the assignments. In addition, she
makes herself available to students. Most teachers take a while to respond and she's very prompt,
which makes me feel like she genuinely wants us to do well in her course. |

| Vanessa Cole helped me outside of class time when I was stuck. She was very patient and guided
me through the problem. She also responds to emails very quickly. |
| Before the semester started I emailed her asking for an override for her class because it was full and
she responded almost immediately with her approval. She has also been available for questions and
takes the time to actually answer them. |

| Yes. Doing a distance learning course can be very time consuming. Professor Cole understand that
we all have obligations to things outside of this class. Her method of teaching is effective in that
she assigns a fair bit of assignments and material to cover - but she simplifies things in a way which
makes it easy to remember. |

online just like a regular classroom |

| She showed her concern by getting back to emails really quickly and always encouraged us to ask questions! |
| She e her self available on the weekends online prior to the homework due date, so she can answer
question through e-mail. And she understands most distance learning students have a full time job,
can only do homework on the weekends, there for she make sure the due dates are reasonable. Web
site development are very hard to teach through on line class. She did a great job explaining and
designing the course. |
| She took the time to individually look at assignments to ensure that work was done, even if they weren't turned in online. She gives ample room to do the work, offers opportunities to make up for late assignments, and has pushed deadlines if asked. |

complete them not their difficulty level. Essentially, I never felt an unnecessary amount of pressure
in getting work done, their was always ample time given. |

| The instructors laulima site was easy to follow along, it made it easy to review the work. I don't think any of my other instructors covered on how to use laulima, but with Vanessa's site, I didn't need to have it explained. In her course, she stressed useability and accessability in web design, her laulima site definitely shows this. |

| This course could be improved by adding in more a hands on to the coding side. And be less relient on the application to do it for you. |
| For the most part, there is nothing I can think of to really improve. I do
feel the lectures were not nearly as helpful as working directly with the
programs, but at times, the lectures were more about other things, such as
HTML coding and javascript, which is solely there for the information. |

| Since i have little to no back ground for computers, a little more illistraions or links to explain terms would be helpful. The places i tried to look up these terms just used a lot of jargon. |

Some were tough, but rewarding when you completed it and looked at the finished assignment. |

| For this course, we made use of Dreamweaver CS4. It is a great program, but you must learn how to use it. She does a nice job teaching us certain skills to create webpages.
The only difficult part is learning how to use dreamweaver if you've never worked with any sort of web design software. There is a lot to learn about web design. More information about using dreamweaver would be nice to have. |

| It was a new experience of which I thought was refreshing, though perhaps not for me. |
| I like the most is just the experience in general. I was stuck a few times but I came personally to get help. |
| Instructions for exercises and milestones were clear and easy to follow. Ample time was given to work on assignments. |
