| Talking about real world applications - the 08 Financial Crisis, the Great Depression |
| I just enjoyed the whole aspect of learning macroeconomics that can be applied to the world we live in right now. I especially liked the last part of the course going over the IS-LM models, aggregate demand curves, and information about financial crisis. Before this course I truthfully did not know much about the exact details about the Great Recession, but after this course, I pretty much understand the whole ordeal and what can be done to get the country out of it. |

| I think almost everything since it all relates to each other. Just having a better understanding how other countries trade and why other countries are more rich than others was very interesting to me. |

| Even though the subject matter was rather dull at times, Shawn was able to make it bearable - sometimes even fun! |

| Online homework was a bit challenging, and myeconportal was a little difficult to navigate to login. |
| I like Shawn he is a very nice guy. It seemed like in the beginning of the semester he struggled to communicate with us effectively. I felt like he might of been talking to us like we were on the same level as him. The good thing is that I think he quickly realized this and began to teach us at a slower pace and dumb it down for us a but more. I think that was quite impressive to see that he was able to switch up his teaching style to better suit his students. I like that he is very proffessional with the way he dresses and talks to us but I like it even more when he kind of just talks to us about whats going on in the world economy in a more casual way. I think he is finding a good balance between the two. I also like that he has been starting the class with a review of what we went over last time. |
