The readings are interesting. Some of the questions are useful.

The reading are interesting.
It increased my chances of writing in different topics.

i liked that the professor followed a predictable lesson plan so it was easy to remember when everything was due without even looking at the syllabus
I couldn't think of any...
The articles that were assigned for each unit.
The course covers the typical structural aspects of the different essays, the author's voice for each section and how to find the main points.
10. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
There is too much work in this class. I don't think we have enough time to turn in our first essay in Wednesdays. In our essay, I don't think this professor provide enough feedback to me. Also, I make correction according her feedback, I still can't get a perfect score. I tried hard too write well for every essay, but the final scores are not my expectation.
stupid questions about the reading
we were required to comment on other students essays in this course.The teacher said that to recieve full points we had to make 5 comments. I think this is the wrong way to go about it. Most students made comments but they were comments that were not helpful to the writer,like, "I think the ideas inyour essay are interesting" or "I agree with your point of view". I feel it would be better to have a more in depth review of one or two essays perhaps with a character limit of 50+characters. Also until recently I did not know we only recieved full points for 5 comments. I thought it was 3.

She didn't reply email until I send it to her two or three times. And in unit 2, she send me a wrong mail and make me confused, but she didn't reply my mail until I go to her office. Then, even she tell me that she send a wrong mail to me, but it's still make me turning in a late assignment and she still gave me a poor point and it's her responsibility for it. Also she has poor responsibility and basic teacher's ethics. If she can be a Chinese teacher in UH, I think that every people who come from China that can be a teacher too.

Even though the professor's feedback already good enough, but for some students it would be very helpful and nice if the professor can provide suggestions as how to change the essays in addition to grammar/vocabulary corrections. Also, it might help if some of the instructions, deadlines and grading system was and standardized from the beginning instead of changing it near the end of the semester. In addition, the professor should have more forum based discussions about each topic/section because for some students, they might not be familiar with certain topics making it difficult for them to write essays for certain sections.
