16. Other comments:
She takes the time to explain to her students about the subject matter. She allows her students to pick and choose to read articles of their choice, but I think she tries to rush some of the article readings and that makes her slow down on grading and misplacing some papers. She tries her best to keep up with the subject and is willing to take the time to talk to her students on what they should do and how they can improve their work.
Ms. Buxton isn't organized, she misplaces student's work. The way she explains things in class are very confusing.
Maybe be a little more organized
Gaynel is awesome! She truly loves what she does and knows how to engage the students. I look forward to working with her more during my pursuit of infant and toddler education.
Buxton is great. I learned a lot. She is approachable and nice.

Really enjoyed this course the instructor was very involved and motivating.

Most of the day and times writings were due, the area was "locked" before the allotted time. Very Frustrating! Explanations were difficult to understand on explaining where to post work. I had a hard time figuring it out, and here at the end of the semester, the others in my group still have not caught on...therefore, I am unable to complete group work. Questions were sent to instructor with either no response, or such a late response (by a couple of weeks) that it was no longer a valid question. I enjoyed all that I learned, and would still take this class again...but because it was online, not because it was well taught.
I had a very difficult time with this class, not because the work was hard but because i have emailed Gaynel Buxton over 5 times and did not receive one email. I even contacted her on our courses feedback page that is public and did not get a response. If i had any sort of question i would not get a response. Some of the work was literally copied a pasted to our courses assignments because they would have due dates from 2013 so none of the material was ever fresh or even revised, it must be the same thing ever semester. I would no take a class Gaynel Buxton offers ever again.
She has a lot on her plate so she does fairly well managing this online class however, it does get a little confusing. I didn't like that we could not submit late work through laulima, we have to ask her first and then she would allow you to resubmit. I just think having to go through the process of emailing her and then waiting for her to reply takes too much time. She also takes a while to reply and takes forever to grade papers, but like I mentioned, she does have a lot going on, so it's understandable.

It would be better if we could get our assignments on time and also should make assignments clear since some people had problems with understanding certain assignments.

Gaynel is a very understanding and helpful teacher. She gives many opportunities for students to get a good grade and is always there to assist when the students need help.
Thank you for always helped my concerns about the assignment! I wish I could hear your thought of comparative about Japan's early child food education in the future.

Great course!! I am leaving with incredible amounts of knowledge! Thankful to have such great professor.
She takes a long time to grade some assignments and looses some papers, but she if you talk to her about it then everything will be okay. She's a little disorganized so it does get confusing, but she is a cool teacher, really nice, and hilarious.
Gaynel is awesome. She knows how to use her knowledge and experience to engage the students. I am really looking forward to working with her more as I pursue infant and toddler education.
Thank you to Professor Gaynel's respectful atmosphere for teaching education concepts, needs, and reality of infants/toddlers without forgetting we are students in a learning environment instead of a challenge/competition of reaching our own educational goals!
