13. Other comments:
The course provides the basic principles for an advanced chemistry course. The labs are clear and the format is reasonable. I have learned from this class and hope to continue to apply these skills.
Overall I like this class. I enjoyed the later labs that we did over the earlier ones, in that I felt that we spent more time than necessary watching the equipment take measurements.
It was hard to know if the class was fulfilling without the lecture. I think that a lot of time was wasted in waiting while the lab equipment was being used, but I did enjoy learning about food analysis. I would have enjoyed more practical food chemistry though (e.g., coagulation, rheology, sugar solutions, drying, etc.).
