Made class easy for all students to access, once the first week was over.
I enjoyed his insight of submarines.
Nice refresher in physics. Chester was also able to bring a lot of knowledge of submarines into the class and related the course really really well to the work place

Having a former shipyard employee as a teacher helped students relate concepts to work in the yard.

Chet, being a former Pearl Harbor employee gave us a lot of insight to the workings of a submarine. He tried his best to tie physics into our job. He is also understanding of the extra time we needed to understand the course material.

The best part of the course was having clear expecatations of what is expected of me in terms of work and grading. Then also being able to review coursework before any major exam helped me out a lot.

High level ideas, not overly relevent to a non engineer.

A little more focus in the lessons and keeping a consitant pace throughout the course.
Use the book more or get a new book
More handouts. Powerpoints may seem like a great low cost alternative but when you are preaching to mechanics we need something tangible like a piece of paper.

More submarine related examples so that we may understand our work better. He did a lot for us by decreasing the amount of content so that we could get a better grasp on the basics.
