15. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher?
None
She worked in laboratories before so she got to share her experiences with us and she knew the materials for MLT.
She speaks very loudly so the whole class can hear.
N/A
She loves to talk about dogs.
She cares for her dogs...
Ellen major strength as a teacher was well she was a good teacher but she just need to work on teaching us more instead of wasting time talking about other subject.
She knows a lot about her "service" dogs
She knows her stuff, but this class was horrible!!!!! it is the worst class i have ever taken in the 8 years ive been in college.
She is very knowledgable in her field.
She was knowledgable
16. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor?
There are a lot of changes that needs to be discern such as her coming on time since she is either late or not letting her students know if she is coming or not. Actually lecture from the book rather than rant about how her computer is not working or about dogs majority of the time. I did not open my textbook for this class because she did not do much lecture. Nor did we do much injections for her class when in our profession we need to learn how to inject needles and doing blood tests.
Be more organized and have a set plan for the day on what she will teach her students and stick to the planned lecture.
To attend classes more, be available for questions outside of class, not to cancel classes, not to cut classes short, stick to material from the book, cover one section at a time and not jump all over the place, care more about her students.
N/A
Everything. Come to class on time and actually teach something to the class.
I suggest that you make the effort in coming to class on time and just being able to teach the class whenever the days that we have. Need of more of the lecture about the subject so that way we can have more of an understanding.
-To be more prepared -To be punctual -Teach out of the book, rather than lecturing off of personal experiences -Do not talk about "service" dogs during the whole duration of class time -PLEASE use the class time properly
there are too many changes to make to even list on here in 2500 characters, this class was a waste of my money i feel i should get back at least half the money i paid for this class, i cant believe i paid my hard earned money for this crap class.

Teach the subject and write some lecture that students need to know. She should come to class early or on time and she should keep her personal life private instead of broadcasting it to class.
17. How did the instructor show concern for students?
none
She provided hands on activities like the venipuncture so that we could become proficient and comfortable at doing it.
N/A

Ellen showed barely any concerns.
She gave us her email address and told us we could email her, but when we emailed her to asked for out syllabus and study guide we never got them though email. She ended up making hard copies, after we had to constantly reminded her that she didn't email us.
She didnt.. infact she told us why we shouldn't be phlebotomist
She answered questions
18. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not?
No. Look at number 16.
No. I did not learn much about MLT than I had wanted to from the class.
No, because out of this whole course I don't feel that I learned as much as I should have.
No, I wouldn't because I didn't learn anything from her class. All she talks about are her dogs and her disability.
No, because I didn't really learn anything from her class.
No, I wouldn't because of the way her teaching is and it is very poor. I recommend other students to take other MLT teachers.
I do not feel I was properly educated on the criteria that needed to be covered in MLT 100. I feel I wasted my money on this class. I would not recommend this teacher to any of my friends or future student.
NEVER! shes very smart, but id never recommend her to anyone.. her class was horrible..
Yes she was nice
No see #16 comments.
19. What else would you like to say about this instructor?

N/A
I'm a little disappointed at her teaching styles and it showed that she didn't want to be there to teach us.
N/A
She talks about nothing related to the subject. She talks about her dogs way too much. I like her dogs, but I don't want to hear about her dogs.
We are thankful to have you as our teacher but we just suggest that we were able to learn more and understand the subject.
I wish she was better prepared to actually teach this class.
You really shouldnt agree to teach a class if your not gonna 100% full heartedly teach it.. you half assed this class and i feel it was a waste of my money and time. i feel i was jipped, and i had to pay for it.. HORRIBLE class!!!!!!!!!!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

I learned absolutely NOTHING in this class and we complained about it through the semester and nothing was done to help us or get a new teacher. Now i have to pray my preceptor is willing to teach me the things i should have learned from this class.
