18. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....

good. I think she did a really good job teaching Japanese, as sometimes referring to her powerpoint lessons were sometimes more helpful than reading from the book.

Good class but very fast paced.

Good, explained most things clearly and tried to help the students as much as possible.

She is very thoughtful of her students and tries her very best to help us understand the language in areas where she sees that we're struggling in.

Powerpoints, games, activities and such.

22. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

Being a work-intensive course can sometimes be overwhelming, but I guess that's something to expect with how much info there is to teach and how short the semester is.

taking tests.

The amount of material that we covered for a introductory course. It wasn't up to the instuctor I know, but six lessons in one semester is too harsh for people that don't know any Japanese to begin with. Only the people with like 2 - 4 years or more of Japanese language experience remained. All I have to say is that I re-learned everything I learned in 2 years of high school Japanese classes and more within one semester...

23. My overall evaluation of this course is...

good!(: it was a great way to refresh my memory of Japanese&to learn new things.

A-

A "D+" for the course itself and an "A" for the teacher. A beginners course should be easy enough that anyone should be able to keep up, not just advanced Japanese students.

I have gained alot of new information, including new grammar and have learned a little more about the Japanese culture.
