15. How can the instructor improve the teaching of this course?

| Better communication between both teachers. Felt that Josh was not informed and not really a teacher in the class. |
| I liked having Joshua Fouts as a teacher. He should be able to have more opportunities in teaching
the curriculum. He uses practical examples that we can understand and explains the material in
ways that relate to our own field experiences. |
| He is a great teacher. There is nothing I can see he needs improvement on. |
| I thought the way this course was taught was effective, just wish the room was slightly larger. |
| Teach the class instead of the other professor! He didn't really get a chance to teach because the
other professor would teach and make Josh stand aside. I would have rather had Josh be the
professor. |
| Possibly by taking the role of teaching a little more often throughout this course where he co-taught
with Dr. McDougall. I would have loved to hear more info and input from Josh throughout the
course. |
| He could take over class more because he was a more interesting presenter
than the other professor. |

| Josh truly cares about the subject he is teaching and seems to want everyone to succeed. |
| He was able to relate to the material and present it in a very understandable way. |

| Joshua seemed to be easily approachable and open to conversation. |
| He was very knowledgable about the material. He has had a lot of experience and it showed. He was
easy to get along with and relate to. |

all students in the class with this project. |

| I liked the discussions that the professors lead in class. They did not pressure anyone to speak and were open to taking volunteers. |

24. Which aspects of the course did you like least?
|
| The overly wordy emails and handouts. Constant abbreviations and paragraph long instructions were difficult to follow. Also, behavior intervention project is very difficult to actually apply when we have to switch schools. Would have felt better about it if we did not actually have to apply the intervention but instead just wrote everything and did the research. |
| I feel like the intervention was a project that should be done throughout the whole semester. The
drafts should be worked on throughout the semester and not just at the end of it. |
| That Dr. McDougall took over and barely let Josh teach. Also, it was a very, very, very boring class.
Mostly lecture. Most of us struggled to stay awake and pay attention each week. |

| Dr. McDougall and Josh were supposed to be coteachers, but Dr. McDougall clearly took over. He is
not a great teacher, however, Josh is, and I wish he had more of an opportunity to teach us. |

| This class was really hard. I know there was a lot of material to cover but
it was brutal sitting through the class sometimes! Maybe it could be split
up and taught over a couple of periods throughout the week instead of one
chunk. |
