7. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?

| Awesome books and awesome class.... I really loved the discussions and applying law to
class room thoughts. I felt that her teaching methods were very good and I would love to
take another class from her again. |
| Aspects of the coarse were the heavy, in depth discussions that we engaged in and the books that our teacher picked played a huge part in our learning experience. |
| Class discussions. Lisa encourages students to express their own opinions so we are able to hear different sides to each subject. During discussions, she addresses thought-provoking questions that really challenge us to think beyond the obvious and use the concepts we've been learning about. I personally think the way she structured the class allowed for more learning and growth than one would get in a typical lecture setting. |

| I enjoyed learning the fundamentals of briefing court cases and also appreciated the focus on discussion, critical analysis and thinking. The course really taught how to ask tough questions and evaluate each issue specifically and beyond their face value. |

| Lisa taught this course from a very interesting, engaging and applicable perspective that helped me appreciate the Constitution, realize why understanding it is valuable to me and understand the role it played in shaping American society. Every political science student has to learn about constitutional law but Lisa made me want to learn about it. She made this historical document relative to my life and she offered a critical discourse that helped my classmates and me to genuinely connect with the material. |

| I thought there could have been a little more emphasis on the basics of constitutional law (like terms, important concepts and processes), but overall, Lisa explained anything that came up in the cases effectively. |
