15. What did you like most about your online course experience?
I liked being able to comment and have discussions with other students in the class even though it was online. It enabled many different perspectives
I love Professor Bopp! She is awesome, she is a great teacher, she is very knowledgeable about the subject, fun, makes the course very interesting, very helpful, and interacts well with the class discussions! I totally recommend anyone to take her class!
Professor Bopp was very interactive.
I liked the assignments and the movies that we had to watch to better understand the lessons we had to learn.
I really liked this class because it wasn't one of those where you just read and take tests. Bopp makes sure we are interacting online, as if we are in a real classroom and speak out opinion. She replied to us individually on both the assignments and the discussions. And if we have any questions, she was willing to reply to them all. This class is an over all 10/10. Love it.
I liked that there was a lot of interesting videos to watch. Normally when you're asked to watch something for a class their boring. These weren't. They were interesting and I learned a lot at the same time.
I enjoyed interacting with the other students, learning their view on certain subject matter was very interesting especially when it differed from my point of view.
the online apsect was very helpful and convinent. the workload was a little challenging yet it was manageable and professor was easy to email and ask questions. i liked being able to post for my assignments and my peers and professor were respectful. professor is the best bcus she is helpful a fair grader and is willing to help or explain more if we dont get the material. deadlines are also reasonable and the material is taught in an organized matter.
Prof. Bopp always got back to students in a timely manner and is very deep in her conversations. I like how she can play both sides to open up your perspective on subjects.
Bopp was a very interactive , very organized, prompt, offers feedback, interactive, passionate, helpful, and understanding. :)
I liked how the online course was organized and well-strutured. I also like the class discussions, it helps me engage with other students and the instructor.
I enjoyed the discussion forum. I really liked seeing my classmates point of view. I also liked learning of new prospectives about society.
I enjoy being able to form opinions about the subject matter and post thoughts in discussion topics without feeling pressured to answer in regards to any biases. It is just asked of individuals to be polite and non-offensive which is fair enough. I also enjoyed course related media for understanding and analyzing course concepts and it is usually entertaining and mentally stimulating.
Gave me a chance to work with all of my classmates rather than a few. This way, I had the time to see what each of their perspectives were on the subject.
I loved that she was so involoved with the class and was always there when i had a question or concern she is an awesome teacher
16. What did you like least about your online course experience?

Being an online course, it may sometimes slip my mind that there were assignments.
Sometimes I have ta hard time loading up all the videos that is need for the class so I end up searching them up online. But other than that, I have nothing else that I disliked.
I loved it. No negative feedback here..
There wasn't really anything I didn't like about this class.
My hawaii.edu gave me problems because of a school wide hacking. I fell behind and am still catching back up.
some of the videos were a little weird but it was tolerable. the main thing was that it was provided which helped alot.

A warning about "brainfuse" and the duration it takes to get feedback would help. Other than that, this class is excellent and would recommend to other students.

I occassionally have issues posting assignments in the assignment text box on laulima and it has forced me to redo assignments multiple times due to sudden loss of work. Sometimes text size and formats need to be changed for me to submit my work there. I should really just type on a separate document instead of save draft on laulima. Otherwise I could not really complain about any aspects of the course material overall.
nothing i loved the class
17. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
N/A

N/A. It's great as it is. Anything else might change the flow of the course.
I think that this course could be improved by using youtube as another outlet for students to respond. It can show how the student actually feels about the content and share it with their fellow peers.
Maybe return our Essays so we know what we did well or not well.
I don't see any needed improvements. Everything expected form the student is made clear from the beginning and the instructor is fair and willing to give additional time when unforeseen circumstances arise.

This class is great the way it is. Professor Bopp shouldn't change anything!
Maybe more audio lecture from teacher. Some lessons could have been better explained if I heard it explained by the teacher.
I only had problems with submissions on the laulima site. So I suggest the options to email assignments or attach a document as a assignment submission method. Of course these are probably already accepted methods by the instructor, I was probably late to try such methods up until now. I otherwise have no complaints to suggest solutions.
nothing it was awesome and educational

Enjoyed my time in this class, wish to take more classes with this instructor.
great class, great semester great professor. thank you bopp and have a good summer
Highly recommended class!
I love Ms.Bopp, she gave feedback promptly and on every assignment even though I need never formally met her I felt like she knew me. She always got my point of view and let me know through reassurance and positive feedback that I was on the right track.
I enjoyed reading discussions of other students and getting feedback from the instructor on assignments and posts. I felt that the work was balanced and learned a lot through readings and course media. Overall it was good!
I really liked the use of iTunesU. I felt safer viewing and/or downloading videos from a safer location.
Keep up the good work and also keep being an awesome teacher

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
What i like the best about this online course was that it was easy to do on my time, but with a deadline to meet. And when i was falling behind on my work The instructor allowed me to turn them all in.
It was a new and different experience. It was my first time doing an online class and it sure takes up some time on stopping what you're doing and really having that discipline on study time and class work. It did help me to prioritize better and be more disciplined.
I like our class discussion.
i really enjoyed seeing everyone's opinions in the discussion posts.
The thing I like most about this online course experience is that professor Bopp participated in the class discussions every week we had them. And she also gave us feedback on our learning activities. She played an active role in being a professor. and she also kept up with weekly updates and well as uploaded the graded weekly as well, so we always knew our grade after every assignment.
There was a lot of virtual interaction with other students and the instructor.
everything.
Interaction with all of the students on this online course (forum), I was able to get other peoples point of view rather than only Professor Bopp's opinions.
How well organized everything was.
I liked the freedom to be able to complete assignments at my own pace.
everything was simple. she explained it well in the syllabus, I didn't have any questions because everything was there.
I loved the fact that the work was done by us first gaining knowledge by reading the material, then using the knowledge we had just learned and giving our opinions on it. We are all different and have different views so this class made us aware of others and how one situation may have different and stimulating effects.
Everything was very well organized from the moment the semester started. Due dates are on a specific time every week, so I know for sure when I have to turn stuff in. We get quick feedback from both Ms. Bopp and other classmates, and that really adds on to my knowledge and gets me thinking about whatever topic we are discussing.
The discussions! Because it got us to interact with other students who were taking the course.
The examples that she uses to better understand.
I love this class, it help me express my opinion and I dont feel shy about being an anonymous.
Even though it was an online class and I rarely met met with Professor Bopp, while emailing her and during discussions there was a connection in which I wasn't afraid to ask questions or ask for help. When I fell behind because of home problems, she was very helpful and let me make up assignments I missed. When I did extra credit with her, it was like I actually took an in-class session because she was that friendly.
The thing that I liked most about this online course experience was that it was clear and understandable of what needed to be done and when.
I liked that she seemed to really read our responses and give good feedback back. She was open to all opinions and responded in a timely manner. The course was very well structured and organized.
It allowed me to work at my own pace.
I thought she showed great examples through videos.
Taking this course online allowed me to balance other areas in my life and was an excellent learning choice for me and my family. This course though it was online, I felt that the discussion boards allowed me to get a similar experience and interaction as I would in an actual classroom. I really appreciated the creative and relative resources ( movies, documentaries,YouTube videos, etc...) that Professor Bopp incorporated into the class material.
I liked the content of the class as well as the information that Mrs Bopp contributed. I felt that she did a great job teaching this subject and utilized excellent material. I felt that i was pushed to open my mind and motivated to utilize critical thinking skill. Awesome Class.
I loved the resources that Patricia Bopp used in this course from the on- line textbook, movies, videos, power points, and discussion boards. All were excellent resources that helped me to submit assignments with deeper understanding.
This class was very easy to follow and the assignments really caught my attention and interest.
I looked forward to her responses on the assignment. I loved the consistency of her feedback it made me feel like my work had more purpose then just to be turned in.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
What i like the least about the online course experience was just a lot of reading material, and some of the video would be give me hard time.
How some what hard it was to push and discipline myself for study time and work at home. Especially when I'm always busy and don't have a quiet area or quiet time at home to study and do work. It's time consuming.
Nothing
I honestly wouldn't say there was anything negative with my online course experience.
The one thing that I like least about the course is that a lot of our videos were through the uh itunes thingy and could never get it to load on my laptop. so there the assignments that were based on the videos I never did. I wished that she had youtube links or vevmo links instead because they are easier to accesses
It was all good.
nothing.
Nothing, I believe that this course has been structured very well in being flexible to all students no matter who you are.
I do not have anything bad to say about the course. This course is my favorite course after three semesters.
I liked that Laulima was very easy to use for submitting assignments and doing quizzes.
Well I only took this class online because it was full in class.
-
Nothing really! If anything, I would say that it's just hard to self-remind myself to turn assignments in, but that's my own fault...

I cannot got the answer from the professor right a way, however pro. Bopp response very fast
I think what I liked least was the disconnection with the rest of the class. All you really do to speak with the class is the discussions and forms. Even with that only few people read your post. No one really goes through the whole thing.
N/A
I wish we had videos of her lecture or even a voice recording of her to follow along and reinforce what we read.
Discussions didn't really occur after the initial few postings. This limited the learning from interactions with peers.
Nothing, class was excellent.
overall, I feel that it was a good experience and I learned a lot about sociology.
N/A I loved this class.
This is a sociology class and at times it was difficult to complete assignments because I wanted to write about things from my point of view and I had to stop and really think before just typing away. This forced me think outside of the box so to speak and has made me a better student.
The least thing I liked about this course was watching the movies, because I didn't have time to sit and watch a movie.
The discussions we had onlin.e
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
N/A
This being my first online class, I don't see anything to be improved. It seems fine I just have to get used to.
The instructor is awesome. She just need to continue what she do and that's keeping the subject interesting.
Again like I stated above on question number 15, I can honestly say I did not run into anything negative during this this online course that I would have liked improved or changed, I enjoyed my experience in this class with the instructor Patricia Bopp.
This course is amazing the way it is. The only thing that could be improved would be the video situation.
This course is excellent as is.
Nothing needs to be improved. This course was great!
I believe this course is to it's excellence.
N/A
In the gradebook, it would be easier to plan assignments if the weekly Discussion showed up there before it is due, instead of only after.
I think this class is very informative and interesting. Maybe more lectures/meetings where we can sit in and hear other people's stories about how they overcome social stigma and their views.
Maybe bump up the discussion post limit to having to comment on two other peoples' posts, instead of one. I really enjoy reading peoples' comments on my posts, but sometimes nobody comments on it. Maybe bumping up the limit to two will give a higher chance of everybody having someone write or comment on their post.
none
Notthing should be improve very awesome teacher and class.
I don't think this course needs any improvement. The thing I liked least is more for people who want a more social class. The class is very flexible. As long as you are on top of your work you can pass.
N/A
For future references, I think it would be beneficial to have lectures (whether video or jus voice recordings). It wil help to reinforce the subject.
Encouraging further discussion, whether intermittently throughout the semester or stating explicitly on the syllabus, may increase peer discussion, thereby stimulating a greater wealth of knowledge. By responding to two posts, interaction is severely diminished. While I understand that this is only a minimum requirement and that students are responsible for their own learning, it exposes only ideas from peers to whom students respond. Requiring students to respond to new peers each week will allow students the opportunity to learn from everyone in the class.
I think more interaction between the students could improve this course.
If I had to pick something to change it would be less reading response assignments. Having a form and reading response both due every week is a lot of writing. Replace some of those assignments with short 5- 8 multiple question quiz's to test that you have read or watched that material and understood it.
Nothing comes to mind.
This on-line course had a lot of different resources available to us which helped to complete all the assignments. I would not change anything about it this course, if it's not broken there is no need to fix it.
There isn't much that could be improved. This is a very well organized class.
I would get confused on what chapters we were reading for the week. If in the syllabus the chapters could be clearly stated that would be great.
17. Other comments:
It was a really interesting and great experience.
Awesome instructor
Professor Boppp is actually one of best teachers I've had at Leeward Community College in my three semesters of being here. I would recommend everyone to take her Soc 100 class. And I cant wait to take more classes with her! :)
Ms. Patricia is an excellent instructor. I learned a lot. Great instructor. Asset to the college!
great!
I had fun Professor, thank you!
I had a very good first online class experience! :)
love her and her teaching.
Professor Bopp is by far one of my favorite Teachers at Leeward CC. Even though the only communication I had with her was through email, she was very friendly and willing to help my pass her class and also very fun to be around.
Even though this class in not constructed in a formal setting, the use of proper grammar and syntax should still be observed and enforced. Not doing so impairs the foundations upon which education in The United States is established. Though the learning outcomes pertain to the ability to discuss and think about sociological ideals, the ability to communicate those thoughts effectively and concisely is equally important. As an institute of higher learning, it would be irresponsible not only to society but also the individual to allow such desecration of the English language.
Really enjoyed this class.
Patricia Bopp is the type of educator that we need more of. She widens your view of the world and I had lots of "light bulb" and "Aha" moments through-out this course. Thank you Patricia Bopp you rock!
She is a very awesome teacher!!!

16. What did you like most about your online course experience?
Everything expected from students were clearly stated in the syllabus. Due dates were clear, work load was never overwhelming, and the availability of the Professor was always communicated.
I loved everything about this course. it opened my eyes to a whole new way about think and understand the issues women over came and still face today. loved this class, I would definitely take another course from Professor Bopp again. AWESOME!!!
All assignments were due on Sundays by 11:59pm. Deadlines were convenient in regards to my schedule.
It was something different and not what I expected but I love the teacher so that made the class better.
I really liked the discussions with everyone and I liked the fact that the assignments were straight forward and as long as you followed directions you get good grades.
How clear the course work is. I know what the assignments are, and how to do them.
I liked that I was given ample time to finish the work.
I really enjoyed our class discussions because I was able to relate and understand other concepts from different perspectives.
What I liked most about my online course experience was that it was engaging and Professor Bopp made it quite interesting.
I liked the fact that I could experience the depth of my emotions in the privacy of my own home. The material was raw, to the point, and necessary to bring light of the reality of where America is heading towards.
I liked the flexibility of the time.
I like the fact that we were able to watch certain videos pertaining to present day issues involving women. I also liked the fact that it was an online class and she provided all the readings and videos so I actually had the chance to do all my readings and watch videos on my laptop without actually having to purchase a book and going to class.
I liked that we got all the assignments in the beginning.
17. What did you like least about your online course experience?
Nothing
N/A
Misunderstanding on my end but my fault for not asking enough questions.
U tunes. it was very inefficient. I just think there could be a better way.
Nothing
I had a lot of confusion in the beginning with the assignment due dates because the syllabus had specific dates but on that actual laulima site there were a few other dates and I kept getting them confused but I was able to communicate with my professor and she directed me and gave me credit.
I thought that all Professor Bopp's material in this course was relevant and needed exposure. I found the material filled with facts supported by evidence from resources that could confirm actual real life accounts on the topics discussed.
one video didn't work for me
18. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
The iTunes videos were always difficult for me to download from the links provided by the Professor. Even when I did download the video's, they took rather long. I watched all the video's in YouTube because it was significantly quicker and easier.
I enjoyed the assignments that required us to download documentaries through iTunesU. I liked watching the documentaries and relating them to the discussion topic for the week. This helped to encourage our critical thinking skills and helped us understand the topic better.
Personally I think the due dates confused me a little but I should have read the syllabus better because in there it clearly states what each date means and what not.
not using U-tunes.
N/A
I think improvement can be in the area of time. We learned a lot about past history which is totally cool with me, but I also would have enjoyed more current writings from current women.
Just from my own diverticulitis, perhaps a more simplified way of ordering the assignments written in the syllabus. Between videos, articles, power-points, discussions, and responses, it took awhile to get the rhythm of how to address assignments due. And then again, it could have just been me, a tad bit slow, at computing how to navigate through these materials. lol
Class was fair enough, no improvement needed. Probably more class sections for the other people who want to take the class.
Maybe having a sample paper or what kind of format the teacher wanted the paper to be in would be helpful.

Really enjoyed this online course!
I am going to miss having this class. I loved the discussions and feed back from the professor and the other students. Thanks for an awesome semester professor Bopp!!!
I appreciate Prof. Bopp for giving us feedback for all of our discussion posts and assignments. I liked having her as my instructor and I would definitely recommend this class to future students.
Thanks for an awesome semester. God bless!
Very fun class considering it was online and I learned a lot.
U-tunes should not be used, ever.
Great class and wish I could of taken it in class but my schedule just couldn't fit in the time. I had a great semester and I love online classes. Thank you.
Thank you Professor Bopp, for your excellent work at putting together all the material in this course. I was truly horrified by the truth of what's happening around the globe which you present with real life stories and events that happened both in the past and present. Thank for your dedication, time and effort putting your course materials together that I found extremely informative and educational. In my opinion, it was an excellent job well done on your part. I give you an "A" for this course! lol
Amazing job with teaching the class! really enjoyed it! Happy Holidays!

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
The main thing that really engaged me to this course was the instructor's participation with our discussion and feedback. She always read and responded to each and every discussion we posted as well as the reading responses.
I liked that all the work was given on the first day so I could go ahead if I had time.
That It fit into my busy schedule
I liked that it fit my schedule and the questions were interesting (rather than definitions and mere facts).
I liked communicating with different people from different backgrounds. This gave me a whole new perspective other than my own. I liked the required videos for class instruction because it opens your eyes to even bigger issues within our society.
There was lot of works to do, so I think she concentrate on us. Also, in the every discussion, she wrote her thoughts on other students' opinion. She tried every students participate on this class.
I liked the weekly discussion posts. They were a great supplement to the reading because it encouraged us to think about the reading and apply what we learned to real situations. These discussions are the "next step" and help form connections. It is also a great way to enhance our communication skills. Explaining a personal opinion is important but it is also necessary to do this in a respectful manner.
I learned a lot through many kinds of video, and what should we think about to live peacefully everyone all over the world.
I like that Prof. Bopp encouraged students to discuss matters within the text and society.
We had the course structure and schedule explained to us and the course load was exactly how she said it would be.
I liked that there were really helpful powerpoints and an online textbook for free. My last online class didn't have any powerpoints and I really struggled to see the main points out of each chapter. The quizzes were very manageable too and not too hard. Overall, what i liked most was Professor Bopp's effective communication with us all and all her efforts to help the class and individuals.
i liked the online discussion board topics! they kepis us engaged and connected with other classmates as well as our professor. i loved that the book was free!!!!!
I really liked how all the assignments and discussions were posted ahead of time giving students ample time to complete the work.
This was a very interesting course actually one of the best courses that have taken.
I liked that she explained the assignments well and the resources that are given help out a lo
I love how our book i online and free, homework's are evenly distributed throughout the week, and the time limit for our exams.
Easy to navigate class, all instructions clear and easy to follow.
I liked how the coursework was spread out in a way that was manageable. I enjoyed interacting with other students and hearing their thoughts and opinions and also how the instructor would comment on students responses as well. The instructor maintained communication with students on a daily basis and graded assignments quickly. I also liked how there was a variety of different resources to learn the material and we didn't have to buy a book. Best class ever.
I loved that the class was well organized and all of my assignments and quizzes were clear in the syllabus. Professor Bopp made this class very easy to follow and understand. I learned a lot of new material.
I enjoyed Professor Bopp's interactions the most. She is very adept at mentally engaging her students throughout the entire course curriculum.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
I thought it would've been okay to at least meet once with the entire class.
I have no complaints :)
Many writing assignments but not a lot of testing to understand the material.
I would have liked to take this course in class vice online. These types of courses are more interesting face to face. I had no dislikes when taking this course.
The previous online class has just test and assignments, so the discussion was difficult.Sometimes I was not able to write down my own opinion because the topics often contains sexual thing, race and ethnicity.
There was nothing I disliked about this course.
I don't like discussion, and I had to write about 100- 150 minimum. I don't like that because I don't have that much opinion.
At first, I thought there were too much assignments with having to write a total of 6 things each week. It turned out to be manageable.

That the class was so interactive.
There wasn't really anything that I didn't like. It's fast paced but its a summer course so I understand.

There are no make up or extra credits, but that's understandable as it establishes discipline if you don't
I loved everything about this online course experience. Because it was so organized and easy to follow along with, It made my mindset more open to trying other online courses in the future.
I'd have to say, "the term paper" given during an accelerated semester; definitely not a big fan of that aspect of the course.
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
It was great. No improvements needed.
Nothing the course was great. Well balanced and the due dates kept me on track.
I believe professor Bopp was very proffesional with everything, from updating us weekly and every mid week
More quizzes.
The course is excellent "as is" for an online course.
I notice that this class discuss about sexual,
I have no suggestions for improvement. Professor Bopp is a exceptional educator. She is encouraging and knowledgeable. She was always available to answer questions and provide feedback. I feel like I learned a lot from Professor Bopp and I consider her to be an excellent teacher.
Extra credit would be nice especially since there are so much deadlines here and there its hard to remember what's due when.
this course could be improved if there were more modern videos to watch pertaining to the subject matter. Also the course would've been more improved if there were even more interaction between discussion posts..because i like most of my classmates didn't post until right before the boards were closes. maybe it would help if we could comment on people's post even after the due date and still gain some form of credit for that.

It is perfect the way it is.
I think this course I good as is.
I absolutely think this course is perfect!
none
This course could be improved by making a set date for people to post their initial posts, so that more people can read and post their responses instead of people waiting till the last minute to post posts and responses.
No term paper during the summer semester.

Good job! I hope to take another course with you again!
I loved this class :)
It was a great course & very doable for a summer school class. Thanks Professor Bopp!
Thank you for an interesting session.
Thank you for teaching us. I was not good student, but you teached a lot.
I enjoyed learning from Professor Bopp. I will let my friends know about her if they ever need to take SOC 100.
again loved that the book was free!
This is one of the best online courses I have taken.
Professor Bopp made the class interesting by making you think outside the ox. This class covered so many social topic. I really enjoyed this class.

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
The life experiences of Professor Bopp makes any of her classes a wonderful and extremely interesting experience. The forums of the online course permitted the students a veil to allow a personal anonymity. I think this allowed some potentially shy students to be able to express themselves in a more honest and profound manner. I KNOW THAT PERSONALLY, THAT WAS TRUE FOR ME.
I liked how I was still able to communicate with my classmates even if it was an online course. I also learned a lot without having to physically go to Leeward and sit in class.
What I like most about my online course experience was that it was online. Plus, I like doing the assignments/reading responses, discussions, and sometimes the quizzes.
It forced me to become a better person, I had to discipline myself and make sure I did my work. It was easy when you know exactly when everything is due and you can do your assignments early if you need to. I found those things very useful/
Being able to understand other classmates take on course work.
I liked our class discussions and all the reading material.
Other peoples mana'o.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
There was not really anything I did not like except seeing one of my favorite Professors in person.
There were some readings that I did not quite understand and it was hard to answer the discussion question or reading response and I did not have anybody here to physically help me.
What I like least about my online course experience was the intense too many pages reading. :( :(
That i was stuck on a computer for hours doing homework.
Due to time constraints and professor's inability to accept late assignments, I believe it affected my grade.
It was my first on-line class, so just getting familiar with the computer
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
I would like to see and hear some of Professor Bopp's personal experiences abroad with the Peace Corps. I think that this course should use the online forums along with the in classroom experience as well.
I think maybe the instructor could record their voice and add it to the power points so that it makes it seem like they are physically teaching the course in a regular classroom setting. Also maybe there could be an alternative way to get the information around besides the readings cause some students do not like reading so they may not have read the readings and it could have affected their grade.
1. This course could be improved by making the intense reading materials into shorter readings. 2. Doing presentations will do. :)
I think this course was fine i found nothing except that sometimes people did not answer the question that was asked so and i would have to respond that made it hard to respond back to.
Most online classes have assignments that are due by the end of the course, not specific dates.
It doesn't need improvement
17. Other comments:
This class was very interesting and I have learned a lot and it has made me think of a lot of things that I never thought about before.
I really enjoyed this class and Prof. Bopp as well. Whenever I had a question about something she got back to me as soon as possible. Even if it would have been easier if I took it on ground I think this class really helped me learn new things.
Interesting class. I thought this class would also cover friendship problems and relationship problems, but it's okay.

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
There was no problem with communicating with my professor. Was very organized!
Prof Bopp made the class more understandable by making things easily relatable to her students
This is only my second online course and once again I had a great class experience. Ms. Bopp was very accessible and interactive. She always had constructive feedback to make sure you were on track with the material. You can tell she cares about her students and wants us to learn the information and do well. She also reminds us about due dates, which really helps especially when you have other courses to keep up with. Ms. Bopp's syllabus was totally organized and very clear and class expectations. Not only did I learn all about Sociology but I also actually enjoyed it because of the unique topics/subjects we reviewed and discussed, as well as how Ms. Bopp structured the class. I did not know that I would enjoy this class so much, so I am very glad that I took this particular course!
I like the fact that this class had disscussions were your answer is never the wrong answer.
I liked best the discussions and post by Professor Bopp and other students. Being able to see things from another persons point of view helped me to understand and validate what I learned from others besides what was taught in the textbook. I also enjoyed the supplemental videos that complimented the required readings. A lot of eye opening social issues out there.
I liked how everyone was free to express how they felt.
I enjoyed the flexibility this online course provided. With work and school together, I was able to do my homework on my own time.
The thing that I liked the most was when all the students were able to converse together. It made it easy to understand the topic that was being talked about, because I got to hear everybody's ideas and thoughts on the subject.
discussion post learning about different perspectives from different backgrounds
The way the material was presented made learning fun & manageable.
I liked the forums with my class about this online course.
convenience, interactive with classmates, instructor was very clear and fair.
The most important thing about online courses is that you have to learn it on your own because this is not a face to face like in classroom where they can give you more details and example thru lectures. the best thing about online classes is that you learn how to use your time on studying doing your work and able to past the test, quizzes.
I actually enjoyed a lot of proponents from this class. I liked that the textbook was free online, which save me money. I also really enjoyed watching the videos because they related to course subjects and they were a visual example that went along with the textbook. I also really enjoyed the discussions. I thought that they allowed me to voice my own opinions, without being judged. Finally, I enjoyed that the professor took the time to reply to our discussion boards and assignments. This is an online class so it gave somewhat of an interactive and personal feel.
I learned some different views and aspects of social framework
I liked that work could be submitted earlier, that way students could manage their time a lot more.
I liked the assignment guidelines. In particular, that there was a minimum word requirement; but that we could write more if we needed to.
Group discussions, reading everyones responses.
Very interesting. The questions and discussions helped us really think about the subject matter. I like the way Professor Bopp incorporated everything. She used textbooks, videos, and discussions which were very helpful. Another wonderful thing about the class was the organization. The Professor made it very clear what she wanted due by the end of the week.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
nothing
There was a lot of writing
Missed the camaraderie and open discussions that would have sure to have made this class entertaining. Nothing beats sitting down and listening to your instructor unless they're boring, and by just the discussions, you could tell she wasn't boring.
It was sometimes awkward when people disagreed with each other.
Nothing! The online course gave me a great schedule.
I didn't really have anything that I didn't like. I guess the big thing would be it was sometimes hard to understand some of the reading responses. Some times I got confused on it and ended up making it more complicated than it really was.
the final paper. I thought we couldn't really express how we felt towards the questions with having a minimum word count.
I thought she was getting kind of biased at times, but for good measure.
I feel that I could have learned more over the semester but the nature of the online course does tend to take away some of the content.
Having to download from itunes u was a bit inconvenient.
online courses sometimes it really dont provide you all the information you needed and unable to see the instructor thru the whole semester. but its a great experience because you will learn how to do it on your own without relying to others.
it was a well organized course, everything was excellent

Throughout the semester I put forth an honest effort for every assignment. Yet when I read the work of my peers, it seems they did not do the same.
I enjoyed everything :)
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
I don't think this course could be improved. Maybe if we didn't have to use itunes to download the material or listen on that. Other than that, it was great!
Having to respond to one forum instead of two
I feel like this course can be improved if there weren't much videos to watch, however, the videos did help but it made it a little harder to do disscussions and assignments especially if your computer does not have itunes or your computer take forever for the videos to download.
Loved it as it was.
I really enjoyed the class and can't think of anything.
Nothing, just keep up the good work!
I really don't have anything to say about the course. In my opinion it doesn't have to be improved.

Perhaps address the final paper a little more...being that it is worth so much of our grade.

To allow for more creative, divergent thought--possibly allowing students to choose their own topics (or from a list of topics--with respect to each week's assignments. Maybe include a collaborative element in the course. Perhaps technology such as Blackboard Collaborate or even face-to-face discussions (in lieu of written submissions). During the semester we viewed a lot of mediated videos, which were assigned. It would be interesting if students could choose some of the media--either individually or collectively.
1. More videos to watch. 2. I think, If i had this opportunity again... I think I would rather have it in person because it was just that great. Nothing to be improved.

I learned a lot in this course
I plan on definitely recommending Ms. Bopp's Sociology class for future students!
Thanks for having the book made available free to us, or it could be purchased for a modest sum of $30.00.
I would take a class taught by her again.
Thanks Prof. Bopp!
Thank you professor Jayne for a great semester. I normally take online courses because it works with my availability BUT if I knew how this course was beforehand, i would definitely take the time to take this course in class with you. I can't imagine how great the "forums" would be in a face-to-face setting. Thank you again for a great semester!!! Trevor Baba
great professorâ?¦great course :)
I would not change anything about this class. The subjects were easy to learn and interesting. The power points were somewhat helpful but it was evident that the in-class students would benefit from the PowerPoint rather than the online students. Overall, I enjoyed the class and learned a lot. Thank you.
This class was fantastic. It was straight to the point and made each student think with a sociological imagination.
Thank you.
I will recommend this instructor to others!
Definitely continue to encourage students to save just the assignment list on the syllabus. I checked the assignments every week and it was extremely helpful.

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
There was always a quiz, discussion, reading response, and video dedicated to each section. This helped to thoroughly understand each topic and issue we were meant to learn that week. Also, it was healthy and freeing to be able to speak out your true feelings and opinions (in a respectful way) without being judged for it.
I liked the flexibility of the schedule.
The content and stories that we learned weekly were always very interesting. The instructor would almost always give feedback on discussions and even provide personal experiences to emphasize the point.
I like the topics that were discussed in class and how everyone was able to put their perspective into play. I also enjoyed watching the videos that Ms. Bopp provided; it was very informative and a great learning experience.
everything was available using the online tools she gave us.
I appreciate the instructor included subjects and information that were thought provoking.
This online course is very informative. I love how Ms. Bopp provides life experiences in the assignments. It makes this class personable (:
Ms. Bopp continuously gave us feedback and kept the students updated with what was going on in the class. She didn't baby us by e-mailing us whenever things were due, but she was very observant and took note of things. She replied to e-mails quickly, which was great. She doesn't shut down anyone's ideas, she opened us up to other ideas.
How much I learned! I don't normally say that too.
I loved how all of the assignments had the due dates in the title, which was incredibly helpful. It was also wonderful to have the option of doing all the coursework at one time because it was all available for the entire semester, with the exception of quizzes, which were given with announcements and ample time to complete. Professor Bopp is also very accepting and gracious of student comments, giving feedback on every discussion post, and a very fair grader. I highly recommend her class and this professor.
Being able to have an open-mind to the discussions we had
The articles and videos shared by Professor Bopp.
The thing that i like most about this online course is the discussion every week. It was nice to read all about different people opinions.
I liked how I grew more and more comfortable with discussions among my peers. I enjoyed the fact that everyone can share his or her own opinions about all the topics that we've covered.
She was always open for help and conversation. She made everybody feel comfortable to speak how they felt without fear of intimidation.
Everything was well organized and challenging, but manageable. I learned a lot and the course challenged my way of thinking.
The freedom to express my opinion.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
I wish there was a chart-type calendar available.
The grade due dates were different then the assignments and it threw me off.
I liked everything!
finding some of the links were somewhat hard for me. Other than that everything was amazing.
Can't think of anything really
N/A
There wasn't anything that I didn't like.
A few touchy subjects, but it didn't bother me much.
That laulima is down at two in the morning. I'm a night owl and it was explained to me that online work could be done 'at any time'. Lies and blasphemy. Also, any work started before two am that was attempted at or after two am was not saved and that's just horrible.
The grading point system. I feel like the scale on such little points made it more difficult to get the highest grade possible.
I dislike all the reading we had to do but it makes since consider is an online course.
There wasn't much that I did not like. I would take this class again if I could!
Nothing.
The fact that this professor had a due date timeline example: Assignment 1 is due dec 1- dec10 but is consider late? I didn't understand that she would've made it clear that after dec 1 it would be late. I thought between that timeline it's consider on time but apparently not.
N/a
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
A calender with constant reminder of due dates would be helpful. Also, if youtube links for videos were given in case itunesU acts up, that would be convenient.
Just changing the dates so it is clear. There are two due dates shown and I got confused a couple of times on which due date for each assignment.
Accessing the itunes was slightly inconvenient but other than that, can't think of anything else.
Honestly Ms. Bopp does an excellent job. The class is informative and she challenges you to think outside the box. This class couldnt have been taught better.
We covered many good topics, maybe if we could squeeze in a couple more. A short powerpoint project would be interesting to do as well.
I don't have any improvement suggestions except maybe that fact that a few things we went over didn't seem to be about "Woman's" Studies.
Video reflections by the instructor would be nice, and more one-on-one interactions with other students created by the instructor.
I honestly don't know anyway to improve a course with which is already great. Maybe offer it in person on campus that way students can get that face to face experience.
Better online format teaching.
Give Jane a pay increase.
17. Other comments:
Overall, I loved this class. As long as you remind diligent with the work, it's easy to understand and enjoy the material. It was a very enlightening course and helps you to identify yourself.
Overall great class! Would recommend others to take and learn something new.
Enjoying the course!
Great job!
I would recommend this class to every and anybody. I wouldn't have expected an online class to be so informative and fun.
I loved this class and would recommend it and the professor at any time. It was lovely, engaging, and eye-opening. I was highly satisfied with this course.
Thank you Jayne for your understanding and sensitivity towards your students!

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
I liked how Professor Bopp was always on top of things. She replied quickly to our emails, questions and posts on the discussion board. She also has a great sense of humor, which is what made this course worth a try.
It was very straight to the point and assignments were easy to understand.
Discussions
The ease of working on my own time.
I loved that she had awesome discussions with the students.
I really liked the Discussion board, it really helped me view the other student's opinions on topics and she made the class easy to follow.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
Nothing at all!
alot of the kids waited last minute to post discussions, which made it hard to have a discussion with the online class.
The twice a week homework. I took two online classes which hindered me from completing everything
Missing the in person interactions and the lack of motivation to actually do work.
Nothing
Nothing! Everything was good.
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
no improvements needed, really loved this class!
It's good
Everything was pretty straightforward from grading to assignments. Maybe the one thing that could be improved would be better instructor explanations or examples of difficult concepts such as the sociological imagination. The text did not give a very good explanation but eventually understood it after some Google searches.
Nothing. It is a great course.
This course could be improved if we could do more than just discussions and responses. Maybe a class video chat to have a more live interaction, but I know that's a bit hard to do.

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
We did discussions based that pertains to everyday life. Also, I really liked how Professor Bopp already made the readings available to us so that we didn't have to purchase any books for this class, which saved me some money.
It was all mapped out from the beginning
The accessibility to learn from my home.
I liked that the topics that were covered were what most would call controversial issues and I found it very important to know what my fellow peers thought of the various topics that were discussed. To know other people's thought processes was great. The interaction online with Professor Boppp was great, she clarified things that were questionable.
Taking this course made me understand a lot better the social problems that still go on in our society and in other societies.
I liked the way Professor Bopp set up the online course. She created a learning environment where the students could interact and actually learn versus other online courses I've taken where the instructor isn't even involved in the learning process at all except for when you email them a question. Professor Bopp engaged with the entire class in the discussion as well on our assignments where she provided feedback to our responses. I liked that. Most of the other online courses were boring and I felt like my mind wasn't stimulated. The professors would just put down the assignments and due dates and have no interaction except to post on the homepage that an assignment was coming due. Other than that, no instructional engaging whatsoever. I would highly recommend her class to other students! Her course makes the student think and learn and because more open minded about things!
The content was very will organized, and easy to follow. The discussions on the forum was very enjoyable. The instructor responded to are commits and questions quickly. Very good class.
I like how she responded to every single post and keep communication line open
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
The variety of the content. From Youtube videos to the documentaries in the itunesU, it made the materials from the textbook more relate-able. I'm also a very visual learner, so having other mediums within the course, other than just the textbook made it easy for me to follow along.
I liked how the course was designed and that the grading was clear from the beginning. I also like the amount of opportunity to gain points in earnings for a better grade.
Professor Bopp was always up to date with everything, always willing to help and got back to emails very quickly. Assignments/tests/quizzes were graded in a timely manner and were available for students to view.
That everything was clear and I was able to keep up with the course.
I liked how open she was about all her subjects and always made all the students feel as if their side of a discussion was important or interesting. She always had a conversation with everyone who posted in the discussion
I like how every assignment was all planned out and posted. The work load was just right. The assignments were a challenge, therefore learning. Ms. Bopp is a great teacher and always graded our assignments on time. She's very well organize.
Mrs. Bopp!
Professor Bopp was actively involved in this online class.
The different tools used to explain subject matter. Also, the ability to communicate freely, open, and honestly. Very respectful and engaging professor!
I liked that it wasn't like other online courses where I would feel lost and not able to speak with my instuctor. But I was able to because she would leave her feedback on everything we did.
I liked that I was able to have discussions with my classmates about the material we were studying because it helped broaden my understanding about the subject. I also liked that there were videos about the material we were learning because they provided more insight on the issues we were studying.
I liked that the course was still challenging but you had the freedom to come and go and also that i learned more with this class than with my instructor in class
I really enjoyed the course. I learned a lot. The discussions were very interesting.
I really enjoyed the films! I had a better understanding and more visual feel.
I really liked how we used the discussion board a lot. It was a good way for all the students and the teacher to interact, giving it an almost "in class" experience! I also liked how even though there are a lot of us in the class Bopp would give feedback to each student.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
That it was online! I very much enjoyed this course, but If time and distance were not an issue I would have loved to have attended a traditional class.
I disliked nothing in this class. For example, I felt my resources was easily accessible, perameters of the class was clear, and content was manageable.
Couldve learned a bit more about the subject.
I forgot some assignments but this can happen with any online course.
Nothing really, this was a great course. It was manageable to get through and the material wasn't so boring that I'd fall asleep reading/watching videos.
n/a
That the students weren't actively involved. One week only one other person did a discussion post!
I kinda sorta didn't like how we had to download the videos. It took forever.
There wasn't anything I disliked about my online course experience. It was challenging and fulfilling.
The fact that you have to be very disciplined to do an online course cause I am not a very disciplined person
Nothing I liked all of the experience.
Nothing.
16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
Maybe add a chat room section. That way students can discuss things currently in real-time conversations. That would be pretty interesting.
This course could be improved by including better clarification on some of the discussions becase I felt that I was in the dark for some of them.
N/A
I think the way this course is taught now is perfectly fine. The way students are able to finish work as early as they want is great and an efficient way for students to distribute their workload throughout the course of the week/month.

Maybe cut down the lengths of some videos. Some was a bit long and took a really long time to download.
I don't have any suggestions for how this course could be improved.
I don't believe that this needs to be improved because this is just the right easy and hard
The course don't need improvement.
I think that this class is good as it is currently.
17. Other comments:
Overall great class and I learned a lot.
I highly recommend others to take this class. It's not hard to get through but at the same time teaches you tons of information on the subject. I think I was able to stay on time with all my assignments because I never stressed out about the class and was able to work on it and look forward to doing the work, rather than always stressing out and forgetting deadlines.

I enjoyed this online class!
Another comment would be a good one. It's that professor Jayne is always reachable and she is always quick at responding ang is a great teacher
Great class. I recommend it for anyone who is interested in a good teacher and subject.
I really enjoyed this online course! :)
Bopp is a great teacher! Would recommend her to others, and wouldn't mind taking another class of hers!

17. What did you like most about your online course experience?
I thought it would all be independent, but I really enjoyed that it was very proactive with the other students in my class.
The flexibility of the schedule made it a lot easier to get things done. Also the teacher was easy to talk with and was very knowledgeable about all subject matters. It made learning a lot more fun.
pretty straight forward
I liked the ability to have two different forums, one sharing opinions with the other class members, and the other was between the instructor and the student. I was able to reveal things to another person that I usually do not talk about and felt comfortable enough to do so. I also was able to take a look at myself and realize that I have opened myself up to new ways of thinking. I have totally enjoyed this course and highly recommend that others take this course with this instructor. She rocks!
I like the overall learning experience. This is not my field of study, but the course was interesting.
What I liked most about my online course experience was that it was well structured and laid out.
I like that we are free to express our ideas on topics without any criticism or insult from the teacher or other students.
N/A
the book. I liked how up to date it was with examples
Our ability to speak our mind, and not get knocked down for it.
The test was 20 questions long and gave me enough time to complete it with my complete thought, unlike my other online class which was 50 questions and I only had 1 hour to complete it...
Overall the class was really great, I liked the whole curriculum. Reading from the text book was not that bad, but the slides she made really helped a lot. Furthermore, I love the documentaries she put up and movies to explain the text book terms and real life examples. This class was fun.
the flexability
the flexibility with due dates
I was able to take this course and not have it interfere with my work schedule
the flexibility and the fact that the due dates were clear.
The writing assignments. A lot of times her questions made me think, before expressing about what I wanted to write about. That was the best thing she did for me, made me think about her challenging questions before answering them.
I liked that the quizzes given matched up with the study guide questions.
Online courses are very convenient. Course outline was straight forward.
I enjoyed the interaction with the other students and Prof. Bopp conversed with us very frequently and pushed us to expand our views and look at things objectively.
I really enjoyed the clarity of the syllabus/schedule as well as the assignments. I knew exactly what was expected of me from the first day of class, and this helped me plan my schedule and complete my assignments and exams with ease. I also thought that the class discussions were extremely interesting, and they allowed me to see different points of view instead of just thinking about my own perspective.
Flexibility of the class
The fact that every one engaged one another in conversations and replies.
Specifically with this course i really enjoyed conversing with my classmates in our discussions.
What I liked most is that all the assignments were clear and understandable. The deadlines were fair and the amount of work pertaining to those deadlines was a reasonable amount too. I liked how there were different ways to learn about topics such as videos, audio, using the textbook, and powerpoints.
i liked how we were given until Sunday to finish any work we needed to submit and that the assignments were related to whatever the reading we were suppose to do in the book. also the quizzes there were no trick questions or anything like that only things that Mrs.P let us know what we should know from the reading.
I've learned about social change, and to explore the issues surrounding our social problems such as drug abuse, and crime. Reading different thoughts and ideas of people is a wonderful thing.
I liked it because you could do the work at your own pace and I hadd the flexibility to read and do the assignments on my time schedule even though there were due dates The subjects and topics that were discussed was very interesting and it made me want to learn and you had a unique way of responding to our discussion board that it made everyone want to participate in the discussion and put forth their opinion without being judged. I liked reading everyone else's post and it made me think further because everyone's opinion and their interpretation of things are different.
the flexibility
The convenience of being able to study whereever I want to....work, home,.... and the flexibility it gave me to study. My life is very hectic, working 40 hrs a week, I have my young niece and her 3 children all 2 and under living with me so online courses REALLY, REALLY helped me to be able to attend school while taking care of my other priorities. The online course experience is just as good as being in the classroom, depending on the instructor, Mrs. Bopp is a great teacher and I loved the way she structured her online class because she made it interesting and she made you think....use your brain. I can't say the same thing for my other online course...yikes..!
That Prof. Bopp is very inderstanding, personable, helpful, and fun!
The lessons were interesting, teacher was helpful and the class was amazing.
Reading others posts.
I liked everything about this course!! Mrs. Bopp gives great input and her assignments were very interesting and they really caught my attention! The video's she provided were also very helpful!! I will be looking to see if Mrs. Bopp teaches other courses!!
The flexibility in the schedule is definitely the most attractive part of the online course. A surprise was how forthcoming people are about their lives when they can speak from a more anonymous voice. In some ways this course was more on my mind throughout the week than my regular class courses.
I liked the flexibility of it. Being able to do the homework and discussions in my own time.
did not need to go into class
18. What did you like least about your online course experience?
n/a.
I would have to say waiting for others to post in discussion before making a comment. It would have been easier if comments were due after the discussion of the original posts.
nothing realy
I really don't think there was anything to dislike. This was a totally positive experience and can't wait to suggest this course and instructor to others.
nothing.
I didn't like that it wasn't conversations being held but single replies. Something I feel would have been good in a classroom.

We would have reading responses and discussions but it wouldn't show that we had discussions in the future in the grading book....needs to update..
I personally had a problem with keeping up. It wasn't because the teacher overloaded us with work or was really that difficult.I personally have a hard time remembering to look at laulima because it's my only online class. Other than that the class was great.
not being able to have your questions answered as soon as you ask like the way they would in the classroom
multiple chat responses needed

The on-line discussions. I'm not a person that likes to slam people or write as if I was a know-it-all. Sometimes I felt like an ass, because of the way I felt about certain things. Sometimes I chose not to comment on other people comments. I don't think the world is perfect, but I understood what she was trying to do. This thinking out of the box is something I needed and yet the whole process sometimes felt very painful.
I would have liked to sit in a class for some of these discussions.
no dislikes.
Course outline and the requirements were not followed by teacher or students. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion but should respond in a respective manner which teacher and student did not. There were a few posts that I made which the student and teacher blatantly disrespected and thought it was funny.
There wasn't really anything not to like...the only "uncomfortable" part of the class was it made me think about my past quite a bit.
- Nothing - Everything was wonderful!
sometimes it's hard to keep track once u fall behind...
The one thing i didnt like about our online course is that it is very unclear in how the gradebook is setup.
There was nothing really that i least liked about the course. If anything I think it would be the fact that I couldn't work as far ahead as I wanted to.
nothing i was a little nervous taking my first online course because i learn better being taught in person, i guess the least thing i would say i didn't like would be that when getting my assignments back and reading the comments left if i didn't understand what she was saying i could just go and talk to her right then and there unlike being in a classroom.
I don't understand some of the theories when I read the book.
I guess the not having the interaction of being in class and really talking face to face with everyone because in person you get to see a person's expression when having a live discussion and they are giving their personal opinion or experience about a certain topic. Plus you get to know your peers a little better in a class and not just a face and a name.
nothing
nothing....though I really wish there were more online courses available!
Class discussions.
The least experience is the deadlines it was kind of hard to turn in assignments when you work full time. But i managed it.
Nothing.
Honestly, I liked everything about this class. Maybe just adding the discussion's into the grade book. The grade book was were I looked to remind me when assignments were due. Other than that, I really enjoyed this class!!
I missed seeing the faces(or even pictures) of my classmates. Like a lot of my courses, I feel like we pack too much(really good) information into too little time. I feel like we rush through it all a little bit. I would like to see more time to let all that information breathe and maybe even pick some of it up for a second or deeper conversation.
The lack of interaction. I feel like a lot of the discussion would be more interesting in a face-to-face class.
nothing
19. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
n/a.
I thought this class was taught in a well manor. I don't know how it could have been better.
more organized
I am sure there is always room for improvements, and the only one I would like to suggest is that since we are all in college, I would expect better grammar and spelling from the students submitting their work. If you graduated from high school, and passed English 100, then you should be able to spell and know how to construct sentences.
This already a great course overall.
More participation from the students to have conversations rather than just single responses.

I really liked this course. I am not sure how it could be improved. But I do feel like I would have benefited greater from taking this course on campus instead of online
I feel this course is great how it is
We shouldn't be graded on the syllabus quiz....I had a really good excuse as to why I missed it, and contacting the teacher was not helpful because she sounded disrespectful and always tried to reason with whatever I had to say.
I don't think there is much to improve on. Though I suggest that one of the video links used a website where you needed to make an account. Perhaps maybe finding another alternative video would be helpful.
i dont see the need for any improvement in this class
I'm not sure.
No need
it was perfect!
I'm satisfied with the course and how it's taught.
With everyone having an open mind. (If unbiased is possible)
If it is not broke - don't fix it! This course is perfect just the way it is.
Audio reading so that you could follow through with the instructor on the slides...
As far as the course goes i believe that it is a really good class.
Sometimes links to the videos from itunes wouldn't work or would freeze and take a while to load. Other than that I dont think the course really needs to be improved.
i can't think of anyway the course can be improved, the martial sometimes hard to understand but if you take the time to do the reading for the week the assignments are not super hard, and they require to take some time to think about it before you start to answer.
I really enjoyed to watch documentaries and interview that Ms. Bopp gave us in this course. I hope that we can have more interesting documentaries and interview that can help students to improve their knowledge.
I think that everyone should make a profile for themselves and put a photo up so you know what they look like and you not only reading post from a faceless name. I didn't put one up because I didn't know how to do it. I think having a photo of everyone should make the course more personal and maybe have a connection with the discussion posts.
N/A
There is nothing that I would change about improving this course. I feel that how it is right now is fine.
Their were nothing that could be improved.
N/A.
Like I stated earlier, just to put the discussion's into the grade book area. That's it.
First off, I would like to state that the course was excellent! From there, I would say just stay open to change and the natural evolution of where the students want to take it. Anything that could improve more back and forth dialogue would help. The minimum requirement for a discussion board post was 100-150 words and two post were required. In an effort to meet that requirement, i didn't always feel free to interact in a more casual way with classmates and their post. And if I did, it was unclear if that was counting towards my participation.
The online class is organized well. I do not think there is much more than can be improved. I just wish that I took the class face to face.
make it more interesting/fun
20. Other comments:
Professor Bopp is a very wonderful teacher. She makes class learning interesting with video as well as good notes. Her examples using life experiences make the course easier to understand and a fun one to take.
Excellent Instructor!
Thank you Professor Bopp for giving us the leeway to express ourselves without feeling small or guilty. You are like a breath of fresh air and the concern you displayed throughout this semester is greatly appreciated.

I really enjoyed taking this class because professor Bopp made it a easy learning experience by providing notes and videos.
Her teaching material I thought was very good. I didn't know what sociology was until I took her course. Her videos, reading material, etc., was everything what the course is all about. I would recommend her to anyone who is interested in taking Sociology. She actually made me think of taking more Sociology courses.
Patricia Bopp is a good instructor. There are just a few things that need to change. As a teacher, being open minded is required. There are like 20-30 students and we all have a different perspective, this is sociology. However, I felt that some posts were badgering and was not called upon by the instructor. Overall, she had a good outline, stuck with it, & I learned a lot from a sociologists perspective.
Professor Bopp is probably the best teacher I have had for a class at LCC. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and would take another from her in a heartbeat! She was understanding and interesting and made me step outside my comfort zones.
Professor Bopp is one of the best instructors at LCC! I would recommend her to anyone! I took this course to fill my elective requirements and I am so happy that I did. I learned more than I ever thought possible! Thank you so much, Professor Bopp!

i had a great experience for my first online class
This course is very interesting, and I would recommend my friends to take this class with Ms. Bopp.
I thought I would have a difficult time with this online course because it would deal with topics of different societies and the interactions with other cultures. Surprisingly it was very interesting because of the topics that were discussed it made me want to learn more. It was enlightening to read everyone's post on the discussion board because everyone had some experience that they would share. I would gladly take another course of yours whether it be online or in class. I like your style and because of that no one is afraid to share their really intimate experiences and you don't hold anything back either when you respond to post. Thank you so much Professor Bopp for making this course a very rewarding and challenging experience for me. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Aloha, Leona Oliveira
I loved this class :)
I enjoyed this class thoroughly and I feel that I'm finishing this course with a better understanding of people and society. I have a better understanding and a wider perspective on things that I previously didn't. I now have a new love for Sociology and plan on minoring in it!
Mrs. Bopp, I really enjoyed being in your class!! This semester I took all my classes online and I was really worried about how heavy the load would be and how well things would be explained, you made this class go very smoothly for me and your topics really got to me!!
I was really impressed with this online course. P. Bopp was one of my favorite instructors. Her life experience and present dedication really shines through. The course was interesting and I really learned alot about my world, about people, society, myself and about underlying currents that often go unnoticed.
Professor Bopp seems like a very interesting professor and would be a lot of fun in class.

Interesting discussions with class.
applying sociological perspectives into the real world.
how to think sociologically.
the videos that were watched teaching us about different cultures!
The videos that I watched during this course and my responses in the Discussions.
The debates we had
remembering how each aspect of a society is influenced by a lot of environmental factors as well as social factors in general
some socioligical perspectives may be useful for my life.
The class discussions and the videos we watched for them. They were the most insightful.
The structure and how involved the teacher was for an online course.
the importance and relativity of sociology in my life
learning that most people have different perspectives and thats why they do or think the way they do.
Learning about ascribed statuses and the racial discrimination that is still present today.
the topics and movies about social problems we discussed
the way in which it made me rethink my life experiences. This course has allowed me to see how I have been a part of several groups --- dominant majority and racial minority --- and how I have affected as a result.

17. What did you like most about your online course experience?
The board posts and online conversations!
No problems.
I liked how the reading response questions were not too easy and yet not too hard to respond to. You had to do the assignments and read the chapters, but it wasn't to the point where you felt hopeless and overwhelmed. I also enjoyed the discussion posts and agreeing or disagreeing with my peers. It put me in their shoes and made me look from another point of view.
learning about all the different ways that other cultures do things.
the videos we watched
I really liked the videos that related to the material learned in class and I also liked the Discussions you had us participate in because it made us use critical thinking.
How easy it was to have a discussion over multiple days
The discussions actually help puts me in the right perspective for each concept presented
because LCC didn't have in class SOC100 this semester.
The class discussions, and the flexibility.
The interaction we had with the other students, even though we were all in different places.
the flexability
For this class the whole class was very active in communicating with each other. The teacher made us interact with one another and it helped in seeing how people can all think different.
The flexibility was the greatest part of my enjoyment of this class.
everything I say or share with my classmates I have time to think and analyse before I post. It was very interesting to learn and discuss about social problems from different point of view.
I really appreciated the opportunity that we had to make such good use of chat and discussion. I have taken many online classes and most do not make use of the chat and discussion tools. Dialogue with my fellow classmates and Prof. Bopp helped to clarify some of the material and provided me with fresh perspectives and insight.
18. What did you like least about your online course experience?
Missed the feeling of being in a physical classroom. However, I chose the online option for the convenience so this is not really a negative point.
There was nothing I disliked about this course.
we covered a lot of information in 6 weeks...a little too fast for my taste.
the assignments
That we had 2 days where assignments were due. But I guess that's because this is only a 6 week course.
Nothing really
some online course let us to self pace assignment.
Classmates wait until the last minute to post in discussion boards, making it hard to post the minimum replies for full credit.
Everything was perfect.
n/a
Online courses usually are more intense, its a lot of work.
There was really nothing that i did not like about this class. It was a great first experience of an online class.
Overloaded in short time, have hard time to watch movies on Utunes, in fact I watched through youtube or other source
I had a little trouble downloading some of the videos on itunes-u. It was frustrating for me but definitely worthwhile once I was able to watch the videos. They were well selected and good additions to the text.
19. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
I don't know how it can be improved. This is an online course, as long as students understand that there should be no problems. Professor Bopp is very quick to answer any questions by email, definitely within 24 hours.
I feel that nothing needs to be improved. I learned a lot and really enjoyed taking this course.
nothing really. the class was overall a good class.
No improvements perfect
Maybe elaborate more on how some pictures you use in your power points relate to the material learned. Some were a little confusing but I guess it's because you elaborate on it more in your lecture class and less in an online class.
It seems fine as it is
I really liked this course. I recommend it to everyone. There is nothing that I would change.
There is no need for improvement. Ms. Bopp was very clear and accurate with everything. She was very interactive and listened when i had trouble.
This course would be more enjoyable if it was not a summer class. although this class is great the way it is. If anything, to improve this class the class material online should be easier to access.
overall i think this class did well. i dont see in area that needs improvement.
The only way i can see this course be improved is more discussions. They made life so much easier and with more communication between students this will only get easier as some people are gun shy to post.
Perhaps some easier way to download and view the videos would be helpful.

Great Teacher and Great Course! I was scared at first taking a Summer class, but you made it enjoyable.
Thank you Professor Bopp for the awesome summer session!
Ms.Bopp is one of the best teachers i have encountered.
thank you ms. bopp
Great class loved every moment :)
This is a thought provoking and enjoyable class and I appreciate Prof. Bopp's comments and insight on the various topics covered.

17. What did you like most about your online course experience?
Flexibility of schedule and no set time of class but whenever the student is free to complete assignments at a reasonable time. I also enjoy the fact that I dont have to go to school and reserve certain times to drive to class.
It being online
Flexibility. It allowed me to participate while I was traveling in the mainland.
Discussion board because it offered interaction with others.
Everything! I do wish that I took this class in person instead of online. I enjoy discussions very much, but Im always wondering after an online discussion about how much more interesting it would have been if we discussed the topic in person. Maybe there should be a once a week meetup to have verbal discussions?
The video assignments in this online course were great. I enjoyed watching the videos and reflecting on all the things they revealed. I also like that all assignments were due on Sunday and Wednesday instead of random days every week. It promoted a very organized structure for students to follow. When discussing women I am glad that we pointed out the diversity of women in America to include social status, ethnicity, sexual preference, marital status, etc.
18. What did you like least about your online course experience?
It being online
Not long enough. Perhaps I would have enjoyed it more if I took the class in the normal Fall/Spring semester.
Some of the material was to strong for me.

I think its pretty good

1) More discussion made on diversity of women. 2) More discussion made on local issues here in Hawaii.(i.e. Welfare, Homeless, Domestic violence, teen pregnancy, divorce) in regards to women

The diversity I have learned. This course taught me a lot about the different levels of thinking (micro/macro levels). I also learned that many people are actually open to homosexuality and just in general. I will remember how all of my classmates have shared very persoanl experiences and the good discussions we had. I also like that the instructor was very open-minded and welcomed if not all, many, many opinions.
The discussions.
The different perspectives of the people I attended class with and the ways it was able to open my eyes and mind to things that were previously not of importance in my life.
All the assignments and discussions
Learning everything about other cultures, ans societies, and what others go through. I learned a lot from this course and I know that I will always remember the discussions in class.
The liberal viwes.
The group discussion assignments.
The videos that I had to watch!
The different the different videos we had to watch because it was interesting.
reviewing the subject
the videos we watched..
The things it taught me about sociology and how it relates to life.
My ability to see the invisible , confining control devices of our society.
Everyday people
How easy it was to understand the way society is.
The many "light bulb" moments. Taking this course has opened my eyes to many social issues.
N/A
Its use of different mass media to teach the subject matter, it really helped to understand the book in a way that I see the world along with the rest of my classmates.
Social imagination. Learning to use and think with and without a social imagination.
The thought provoking discussion boards we had. I learned a lot from these and a lot about other peoples view points from these boards. The teacher promoted creativity and free thought so I feel that people were very open on them.
Nothing much. Because I feel this class is more common sense. Although the textbook is very good. Usually if the textbook is good, I keep tha one in the bookshelf.
How sociology works and itʻs effect on everyday life.
The movies and documentaries I had to watch and the responses I gave.
The debates about the different topics we discussed...some of which were too taboo to talk about. =)

I liked that all assignments were pretty much due on the same day of the week every week. I also enjoyed doing discussions and recieving feedback on my own posts.
I liked that I was able to talk to others about the material and what they felpt about certain aspects of society.
I liked how I learned a lot about the weekly topics. I enjoyed watching the films
I really liked the discussions throughout the course because I learned a lot about the subject. It made me think a lot, which is good.
Seeing different views of things.
The online discussions. It was great to be able to see everyone's opinions and gain new perspectives on topics.
The fact that I had time to complete my assignments and quizzes. I left me room for my other courses that needed to take priority
It allowed me to work and it made it so my school schedule was not so hectic.
very convenient
How flexible it was.
Answering engaging discussion questions.
I liked that I learned all types of people and why they act that way. I enjoyed the topics.
I can do my assignments early if I wanted to. Also it saved me gas and time since I can learn on my own time.
Being a mom to a one year old and pregnant with another, online courses provided me with the flexibility to take care of my children and still receie an education
I really enjoyed this class!
I liked how even though this was an online course I still felt like I was still interacting with other classmates. It actually felt like I interacted more with my classmates in this course then when I go to school and sit in class with like a room of 20. I also appreciate how much Bopp encourages us to always think and never stop. When we answer a question, we constantly keep questioning ourselves why or how just to keep thinking.
The student demographics were diverse so it was very interesting to read about the differing perspectives on each topic. I enjoyed and learned from the required videos and reflecting on them helped to clear up any questions I had.
I liked how the powerpoints, readings, videos, assignments and discussion boards all related and enhanced each other. The teacher provided timely feedback and she really made the online class feel like a classroom. The assignments were not cumbersome so we were able to actually think about the concepts So that we could really learn instead of just doing lots of tedious homework without really absorbing any material.
The conveince of online. I like Mrs. Bopp because most of the assignment was done on the weekend. And since I work 15hrs days Mon-Sat, this gave me time.
Ability to work at your own pace
What I liked most about this online course was the interraction that my classmates, and I had with each other and the instructor.
The open discussions with the class
19. What did you like least about your online course experience?
I am a procrastinator and I am disappointed in the way I managed my time. Ms. Bopp gave me more than enough time to complete asignments and I did not keep up with them like how I should have!
It was obvious that some students didn't really think about the material that was assigned. Sometimes, they would just recount what happened in a certain film instead of thinking critically about it.
All the work put into each week
Nothing.
Great teacher, but attacked students with her view of feminism too much.
Only the technical difficulties I had with Itunes at times to download some of the course material.
Nothing, I enjoyed it
Nothing
Sometimes forgetting deadlines and not understanding some material.
Could not directly chat with other students, or get feedback from them.
Since this was my first online class, it was hard for me to keep checking up and doing the assignments. Online class isnt for me, if I did this class in class I think I would have a better understanding of everything.
Nothing. This course was great!
N/A
N/A
I don't think that i would actually have anything that I least liked about the course, I would just get frucstrated when I would have computer problems and sometimes my work would be lost. I got the hang of constantly reminding myself to check my Laulima.
There was nothing that I disliked. It was an overall great experience and I enjoyed this course.
The only thing that was a little annoying was the other classmates. Our discussion posts were due on sunday and most people would wait until then to post. This isn't really a big problem, but it was a bit annoying because I would have to wait until then also in order to do my homework. I suppose this would be a problem with any kind of online class.
The least thing I like is the discussion between classmates. I feel that we should just have more of a workload than discuss with fellow classmates. Maybe Im being ant-social, but I rather have more workload.
FORUMS!!
That some of the documentaries and movies could only be found using itunes.
20. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
I am not quite sure how this course could be improved. The instructor was great and the discussions were always very lively! However, some of the video clips were a bit long.
I think that more questions relating to the material as well as to put more thought in what it means in modern society would be cool.
Well besides the amount of work, the class is really good. This class has the most work a week by far.
I think the course went by too fast because there was a lot of information. But with organization and time management, this class is great.
Keep your personal opinions to yourself and remain focused on the subject.
Using a different source than Itunes to download some of the course material.
I think that the course could be improved if there was more discussions in the forum. Other than that this course was great.
This course could be improved by having more reminders or due dates.
I think having open discussions, rather than just posts would have made this class more enjoyable for me.
Post just one discussion for yourself to get a grade and the other discussions posted to friends should be freely done if wanted to.
There is no need for improvement. This online course was easy and well explained.
I really enjoyed this course. With Soc. 100 being my first sociology course and first online course, I really don't have much to compare it to. I really enjoyed these psst few months with Ms. Bopp.
I think the course was fine the way it was.
I honestly have nothing to say about any improvements, i mean, everything is done in a timely manner, she allows work in after the due date, and she allows every individual to speak there opinion and gives great feedback everytime.
No improvement needed. Enjoyed the everything from the guest speaker to the readings. Very interesting.
There were a few technical difficulties with Itunes.edu. I tried to download a few of the movies and the course was not on the itunes site at all. I was able to find the videos on youtube so I did not have to contact the teacher. But it did cause a small bit of trouble.
Nothing much, this teacher was very hands on through out the course.
1. Improving the grading system instead of a 100 point based class. 2. Give more points for assignments and lesser points for forums.
The course could be improved by making documentaries and movies available on youtube not just itunes. It was frustrating for me to download itunes on my computer.

Loved this class and teacher, she was willing to go up and beyond to help you out. I loved the discussions and videos they brought things to my attention that I never realized and will always be thinking about the issues we learned about. Thank YOU!
Have a GREAT summer!!!!
I would definitely recommend this course and professor to friends. Great learning experience.
Excellent course! I would recommend to other students. Patricia Bopp is a great teacher! I had other online courses this semester and the teachers took weeks to reply to messages, they had incorrect answers on tests and never provided feedback. Professor Bopp was what I consider to be an ideal online teacher. She was quick with feedback, and she made me feel like I actually learned something...unlike some other online class teachers.
Thank you and have a good summer.
Thanks!
I had a lot of fun in this course. I learned a lot about accepting one's opinion that did not match my own. I also had fun watching the different movies and documentaries and using them as a tool to understand some of the concepts our intructor was teaching us. I reccommend this instructor to anyone interested in Sociology!

3. Ten years from now I'll probably remember this course most by ...
Studying the different aspects of the issues we covered, like learning about the people who have disabilities and what they have to go through every day.
All of the information that I learned about society. This course provided me with a better understanding about what is going on in the world today and a lot of social problems that I have been unaware of untill now.
In ten years I'll probably remember this course by having a consistent schedule. I really liked how everything was due the same day every week. The consistency really helped me in this class. I also like how she is flexible and allows leeway for late assignments.
Boring
the instructor was great
The videos we watched that showed our lessons in depth.
our class discussions and all of the opinions shared by the instructor and students.
Being able to get a better understanding by everyone else's views and important discussions, and interactions.
The social issues that we as a class discussed. To homosexuality, poverty, the different classes, racial issues, etc.
The diversity of the subjects, the great course content and the meaningful discussions
The discussions held on the message boards.
I think mostly everything from the discussions that we had. Social issues like homosexuality, education, racism, etc. It definitely gave me a brand new perspective on those issues.
The teacher that taught me about social problems, many people in the world have them but i learned about them! Professor is always providing exceptional feedback.
The different content that was both stimulating and thought provoking and gave me different insights on the world around me.
the discussions each class member shared about relevant concerns happening in the world.
Ten years from now I'll probably remember this course most by how Prof. Bopp includes herself in our posts and her personality shines through her teaching.
Learning topics that are new to me due to being from a foreign country.
How much America has to re-evaluate what the American Dream is, child care, racism etc. People are blinded by their own stupidity

18. What did you like most about your online course experience?
I liked that we had weekly assignments that were easy points that counted towards our overall grade.
What I liked most is that we were required to engage with other students. Usually while taking an online class you dont really get to know the other students or get a better understanding of a topic because you dont have the opinion of others. Here it was the complete opposite. You got to engage with other students, learn alot, and the material was enjoyable and very informational.
I like how everything was due the same day every week and how there was leeway for late assignments. I also like how she would send out announcements to our e-mails.
i dont like online courses
I could do my work whenever I had time.
I loved that everything was really organized and that every topic covered was done so in a way where we were able to understand it and then relate and/or feel some kind of emotion about it. Because of that, typing out are assignments and discussions was made even easier for us because we now had things to say on the issues at hand.
That the instructor was always there, and involved, she explained greatly in a way that we were all able to understand
That as a class we shared a little of our background history.
This is my second course online with Professor Bopp. Though I sincerely would like to meet her in person, I feel I have a connection with the passion and energy in which she teaches her courses. As an older student, my opinion was always valued, my interaction with other students wonderful and it was all topped by a wonderful instructor.
She allowed us to freely express our opinions.
It was definitely convenient and more organized for me.
You learn facts about so many different things, it relates to everyday life.
That I had the flexibility to raise my family and still had the opportunity to learn via a distance education course.
having to work and study with students from all over not just Maui. the flexibility of doing the required work helped me keep up in the class.
What I like most about my online course experience is that Prof. Bopp made herself available and it was extremely easy to contact her. She replied back to all my e-mails incredible fast. Also, she explains things clearly and that help make Laulima easy to navigate.
Having the flexibility to study on my own meaning days as well as time of day. It is a good opportunity to work at my own pace.
Having a teacher that actually responds to every students post, and when i have a question she responds in a timely manner
convenient
19. What did you like least about your online course experience?
None.
There was nothing I didnt like.
N/A
everything
I liked everything.
Some of the videos we watched were pretty lengthy.
I least liked that there was homework each week. Of course it's expected though so I didn't have a problem with it and was never overwhelmed with too much work.
N/A
Last semester I commented on I Tunes slowness in loading and asked for more U Tube resources and Prof Bopp responded. Little to none that I disliked about this course.
What I liked least about this course was the textbook. It was written with heavy opinions and a bias point of view rather than having an objective outlook.
Everything was individual work.
Nothing
It wasnt the courses fault that I tend to procrastinate =)
some of the online videos were too long and i lost interest in that particular assignment.

20. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
None.
What I feel could be inproved is the access to the course materials from itunes. Maybe if there were a direct link instead of downloading the material.
I think this course was great I would just suggest an improvement on the video files. I didn't really like how we had to log into iTunes and download the videos. The videos would be at the least an hour, therefore they would take almost an additional hour to download. I
it cant. it sucks
I think this course is great how it is. If people can't pass this class then it's their fault not the instructor or the class.
Maybe a little less discusion replys. Some students wait till last minute to post their discussion, which limits the amount of discussions you can reply back to.
This course was perfect. I guess if it could be improved, I'd say that since the homework that took most of my time was the two responces which had to be 100 words each. I guess less words or responces would have been improved the class for me time wise, but not the class in general. I can't think of a way the class could have been any better than it was.
N/A
I am at a loss for words. I think how Prof Bopp teaches this course should be a Laulima example.
One thing of improvement could be the resources given. The textbook was very biased and rather than being objective in teaching, it was more persuasive towards the authors' opinions.
Have some group activities that will allow people to communicate other than discussions.
I feel like this course is well put together and has a great professor. I always feel like discussion responses are interested but not needed.
i can not think of anything at this time. the class was interesting and revolved aroud actual situations
N/A. Prof. Bopp does a great job!
Sometimes questions were posed to me, and after answering there was no response when one is required; something could be done to initiate a response by the student who posed the question. More formal chat sessions would offer more interaction with other students.
Maybe you could add a project involved instead of only having a final paper? But honestly i think this course was by far one of the best i took so far. The material was interesting and the assignments were fun.
less work
21. Other comments:
The course was overall enjoyable and I would and will recommend this class and professor.
Great teacher. I would definitely recommend her to other students.
I'm really glad I took this course
the course and instructor was awesome, would reccomend to anyone
Thanks for a great semester Patricia Bopp! (:

2. Ten years from now I'll probably remember this course most by ...
The informative, interesting and sometimes intense discussions online.
The inappropriate comments the teacher made.
I will remember this course 10 years from now because it has impacted my views on life and social relationships between people. I think it will really help me to understand and interact with others much better.
The video links that Professor Bopp would post for us to watch. They really help put the things we were learning into real life situations and furthered my knowledge on certain concepts.
The content of the course is relevant to current world events as well as past and present human behavior and the discussion boards were interesting and disturbing.
How easy and simple the directions were. Everything was clear and I'll remember a lot of the information.
The videos we had to watch, they were so interesting.
Continuity of lessons and tests. A lot of interaction with class and professor. Layout of course on Laulima was very organized. Taught me to build on on-line ettiquett skill. Made me use social imagination on social issues. Weekly shared discussions with class and professor made course interesting throughout the semester. Study guides were very helpful on the tests. Professor enjoyed discussions and was very knowledgeable about the course. Gave me a clear direction in choosing a university because of class discussions.
How much my teacher and classmates had many opinions and solid points that made me rethink some things.
the discussions that I had with classmates and the professor.
the way sociology has changed the way that I think of society as a whole and to have the sociological imagination in what ever situation I'm in or what ever people I encounter.
the functionalist perspective.
....the subjects discussed and the way Mrs. Bopp was so down to earth.
The online discussion boards.
The discussions and assignments we had. Really makes you think about your perspective of everything.
all the terms we used
Any time I apply my sociological imagination and think about how things conflict, function, interact and what the implications are of each perspective. I don't think I will ever forget the lesson on gender. Nurture or nature? It was interesting to see how we create gender roles.
The way Professor Bop always gave back feedback to our assignments and how well the comunication was with our group discussions.
talking about different social perspective based on raised, gender and beliefs.
What a great teacher I had and the subject matter of the course gave me great insight into the social structures I live in. I will always remember that doing online courses is more work, but the availability of time management makes it worth it. I will always know that Professor Bopp was a very organized, caring and supportive teacher.
Because of all the things that we shared/ talked about in our discussion.
...How it is relevant to me as a student and as a member of this ever-changing society. I have always been intrigued by the human or 'subjective' side of a study and I believe that this is what I am attracted to: the human side of a technical course and being able to 'name' or place a scientific/actual term to a human and social phenomenon. This course is awesome: from the main textbook we use in class and Prof Bopp, it's really a great learning experience.
The discussions on the different topics and the different life experiences people brought to the discussions
For one, how much society changes with the turning of time... what will deviant behavior be in 10 years in comparison to now? And for the second, how much a persons religious views, such as Christianity, and beliefs, to state their opinion... is frowned upon. My college professor was willing to meet with me about a big ,rather than, just tossing the problem aside and thinking that they held the only answer. From my experience in the past its not too often this happens.
The video's that we saw!
Having great discussions with my fellow students. I had fun learning from other students and especially the teacher.
The relative, good nature of jane and the intellectual properties of the discussions.

17. What did you like most about your online course experience?
I like that I will be able to take with me a newer understanding on alternative ways to view delicate subjects. It may not always be the views in which I support but the key is to have an open mind and accept and explore every situation, even if you're wrong.
Due dates and assignments were consistent.
The online course allowed me to have a flexible schedule. I was able to study when it worked best for me and could focus on the material.
I liked how it was organized and how she assigned assignments once a week. It helped keep me focused and it was good to have a set schedule to follow where you knew the day an assignment is due. Unlike another class I took online this semester she had an assignment due every Sunday, instead of just random days. She would also assign a new task on Monday mornings so you didn't have to check Laulima every day to see if a new assignment was up.
Patricia Bopp as my teacher. She was involved, created an interesting course, and was accessible to students. She also intervened promptly when there was a problem between students on the discussion board and helped procure a solution to the problem.*****Very important feature of her teaching style: Ms. Bopp also participated on the discussion board unlike many online teachers I have had in the past, which added a wonderful dimension to this course and stimulated dialogue between her and the students as well as between classmates. If I could grade her she would get an A/ME.
It was simple, flexible and worked around my schedule.
It was consistent
Shared weekly discussions helped me to stay on track in this course and to use social imagination to social issues. Questions on discussions were not too difficult to understand because it I could base it on personal experience. Professor was not anal. Professor always posted announcement letting us know what will happen and where to look for certain things on-line.
How much different things I learned!!!
The discussions with my peers. In many cases I learned information which made me think about issues in a different way.
I liked that we had discussions it helped me understand the material better. Mrs. Bopp made the class exciting and easy to want to learn it wasn't just another boring class. Excellent Job!!!
It was easier than I thought. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to navigate through finding the exams or the materials needed for the course but it was pretty easy once I got the hang of it.
During this course, I didn't feel overwhelmed with the work load. I felt at ease that we were allowed to give our opinion freely.
The online discussion boards and autonomy.
The discussions. :)
Be able to interact with everyone, and read everyones opinions
It was flexible to my schedule and I knew the assignments and expectations of each week. Patricia Bopp is a great instructor. I really enjoyed the subject matter we covered, especially the controversial issues. It is good to understand each side of contemporary moral dilemmas.
It was easy to understand
One thing that I liked about this course was how active communicaion was even with being an online course.
I can do my assignment on my own time.
The convenience to be able to do my schoolwork at home so that I can maintained my work schedule and go to school at the same time.
We get to share our thoughts and what we think about the matter.
There is a lot to be thankful for on how this course is done by Prof Bopp. Among them are: 1. The pacing of the course. I also think the weekly assignments and discussions are well-scheduled that a student has enough time to read and/or watch the assigned work(s). The additional resources (i.e. videos) also supplements well with the topics. 2. Prof is also on top of the course-- she updates everyone and there is the attention to each and every student and timely comments that are posted about our work
What I appreciated most is that Professor Bop put up assignments, quizes and resources ahead of time allowing us manage our time. Other teachers sometimes wait until Thursday to put up an assignment or quiz due on Sunday, Dr. Bopp was different and that is how I was able to do well in that class. Also she was very active in discussions probably upwards of 150 discussion strings through out the class, responding to everyone's posts. She gave us concise and useful job aids so we able to study efficiently. She also handles discussions with wide variety of opinions in a vary professional manner. Over all I am very appreciative of her professionalism and response times.
The videos helped emphasize using modern situations and scenarios to explain and exaggerate the material we read throughout the term. That my views as a Christian were highly ridiculed.
EVERYTHING!!!
I got to learn a lot about sociology and about social skills. I learned a lot of different terms and definitions about this course. I can apply it to my everyday life.
The topic on the decriminalization of prostitution
18. What did you like least about your online course experience?
Sometimes it did feel like discussions made some students feel uncomfortable, myself included. It almost felt like you were being attacked or belittled when your thoughts/opinions on a subject were being expressed but may not have been scientifically correct. When this did happen however, Professor Bopp helped to lighten the situation by explaining why or why not or warning those students who did not follow proper online discussion etiquette.
Commenst made by instructor.
The experience was a positive learning experience. Many of the questions were thought provoking and people seemed to get really passionate about the subject matter. Although the discussion questions forced us to openly state personal views, I do believe that Professor Bopp was effective in teaching us the material.
When the discussion board went nutty with personal accusations and misreads.
The iTunes videos we had to watch for the course always kept freezing on me and at times, couldn't even load.
no chance to do make up work or missing assignments

I liked it all.
That I never actually met the people I spend so much time chatting with online.
nothing
having to download through i tunes. It was somewhat hard for me because I don't use that program at all.

I think the discussion topics aren't always clear and there were occasions where the quiz questions were difficult to decipher.
Because it's online, I tend to forget a few of the deadlines.
Learning the course content and reading everyones responses
I liked everything.
Nothing
There was nothing that I didn't enjoy about this course!
Too much homework and readings/videos that I have to watch.
The use of ITunes for some course materials - too slow to download - suggesting that UTube is used instead for videos.
None.. Liked it alot.
None.
This course did not have any bad experiences like some other courses have
I think it may have been more helpful to have the assignment questions as the discussion board so that the material we read could be explained and understood through others eyes.

I sometimes didn't know when everything was due. Sometimes it wasn't clear but once I got use to the schedule then I found a difference in my grades. It was hard to remember when I had the class discussions for each section.
NOTHING, MWAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHA!!!!!!!
19. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
More emphasis on online etiquette and perhaps trying to make the discussion forums feel more positive and encouraging.
N/A
The course was well laid out. Some of the questions that were asked touched on personal opinions that was a little uncomfortable, but I believe it was an effective way to get people to think outside of the box and learn to live outside of their comfort zone to a certain extent.
3 discussion board entries is too much! How about just 2 instead.
Besides the iTunes video, everything was good. Everything was up to par, even the instructor was very flexible and willing to help the students in anyway she could.
Make some way for students to make up missing assignments or late assignments.
use of calender on Laulima would help me manage my time better when it comes to submitting and preparing for assignments and tests.
No improvements need.

nothing I wish the semester was longer

The discussions could have focused on more controversial issues. It's difficult to know if you've learned anything of substance if nobody is offended.
I don't know how it can be improved. The class seems very well off to begin with. :)
I think this class is well organized and structured. Nothing should be changed.
Maybe challenge students to respond or comment at least once on things that another classmate said to encourage more conversation, rather than 30 answers to the weeks discussion.
I think that this course is great just the way it is. She had great communication with responding to everything. I enjoy our group discussions to help each other see different point of views.
Maybe if the professor would explain the topic better.
Nothing much outside of the ITunes issue mentioned above. Professor Bopp gave excellent course materials, her book was available to ereaders like Nook, she promptly responded each and every time with issues, disccusions, ideas, etc... This course should be a model for a great online teaching experience.
I think it is already good for students to learn and understand. It will just make it complicated to add more. Discussion is the best thing and what i like most bout this class.
Just maintain how it is being presented; just add new relevant 'stuffs', if any.
This is not in the teachers control, but I would like to be able to get the ebook version of the book so I can save money and read the book where ever I am at without lugging around a big weight
The assignments should have actually been used for the discussion board and vise versa in my opinion. Views from all persons should be expected no matter what their religious background is, we learn from peoples difference.

Maybe you can remind the students by emailing the students when everything is due like our homework, quizzes and tests.

I would highly recommend this teacher to anyone!! Learning was fun! Teacher was not difficult to understand and nor was she anal about grammar on weekly assignments, so doing and turning in assignments were easier to do.
Mrs. Bopp was a really great teacher.

Mrs. Bopp I am so thankful for a teacher like you, you made learning exciting and I loved being in your class. understanding the concepts for this class would have been challenging if not for the way you explained things. Do you teach any sociology classes after Soc 100 I would very much love to take another course from you Thank You... Ashley Belaski;)

Really enjoyed the class, considering switching my major!
Professor Bop did a great job with this sociology course!
Maybe if there's less homework.
I would consider this my first online course, but at the same time I am taking three others. Enjoying most of the online courses I am taking (4) except for one. The professor for the ECOM course I have many issues with has blocked his review by ECafe (Prof Meyers).
I learned alot.
Thank you for this course. This is a wonderful way to be 'initiated' into the world of cyber/online schooling. Thank you!
I would like to see other teachers follow the model of Dr. Bopp and allow working adults to read ahead and do assignments ahead of time because we have other courses, work, and children that is why we take classes online. Because Dr. Bopp laid out the course materials early I was able to compensate for other courses that did not. If other teachers would at least put up 3 weeks of material ahead of time it would make a world of difference for your core demographic.
Thank you Jayne for your willingness to work with all of us and help us understand how the materials we read pertain to our society today and the cultures around the world. And thank you for your openness to discuss my faith in our discussion board.
GREAT TEACHER! GREAT CLASS! GOOD STUFF!!! :)
Great course, keep up the good work.

2. Ten years from now I'll probably remember this course most by ...
The many struggles that women in our history had to endure for equal women's rights, as well as what they are doing today--fighting for those same rights.
The content I had to read. It was very powerful and meaningful, and I could relate a lot to the topics that were being discussed, so it made this class that much more interesting to me.
Not only by what I learned, but by the teaching style of the teacher, and I truly felt that she cared about all of us. There were so many excellent discussions, and even though this was an online class, I felt more a part of a team than when I'm in an on-campus course.
How women have overcome so many struggles and still continue to fight for what they believe is right and also eliminate what is wrong
The visuals such as the videos, pictures, and/or the written examples.
how well it went, being my first ever online class. As well as remembering all the interesting films we saw especially the one about an at-home birth.
I'll probably remember this course most by all the discussions and assignments I had to do. They were fun and kind of easy and I learned a lot from them.
remenbering the rights of womens and their equal rights with the men.
The interactive discussions that we took part in about the different issues of Women's Studies.
The materials covered about women and how everyday events effect both women and men. I personally think that this course really help me understand the world around me.
The Juggling Gender video, and the fact that it is a personal course. You talk about yourself some, rather than only what you learn.
Just the positive energy from the teacher. She was just so kind and supporting!
On how the instructor made her students think about issues in our society that I learned in this class. And how fairly she graded our work!
As I go into my learning path ten years from now God willing;I will remember this course by the many wayswomen used to be treated and the ongoing fight for true eqaulity. For the real aspect of the discussion in this course. The notion that women and men although different in many ways, but at times deal with colonization, poverty, stereotyoing, and and the bold take over from what their normanl used to be because others refer to them as a mere object. For the awareness to look beyond my normal and see that people are people no matter their color, gender, social class, and wealth we at times have to face the same challenges during the course of our life. The issues such as the sexual violence, poverty and the way women are view in this society today and the domestic combat to overcome the stigma of our gender.
The amount of discussion we had with students and professor in the online forums and privately with the reading assignments.

17. What did you like most about your online course experience?
The class discussions where we all could express our personal opinions about a certain women's right topic. Also that it was okay to disagree.
I could have discussions and interact online with my classmates, which was rare in my past online classes.
I loved how open I felt I could be with my classmates and instructor. I loved the use of videos mixed in with the readings. This was the only online class I have ever enjoyed, and perhaps my only college course that I have ever enjoyed.
What I liked the most about the class was tho it is an online class we the students had alo to of interracton with each other. and also the instructor answer my email very quickly
I liked the class discussions because I could see and understand the material being taught from other perspectives.
I liked how everyone could have their own personal input into the different issues that we discussed and that we were able to relate what we read and the films that we watched to our own lives. It was great that our different opinions helped us learn rather than caused problems.
I liked how everything was open and we could do all the work at one time.
I like the disscussion, because I can learn a lot of things with the opinion of my classmates and my Ms. Bopp
It was clear what was expected for the course right from the start, which made it much easier to stay on task.
She was well organized and made the course easy to follow and learn.
I was able to do it in my own time, and the material was easy to understand, even if I did not have a teacher explaining it to me.
I like the time limit she gave us on the assignments and the flexible grading. I also like how she supported our ideas and got into the discussions.
Professor Boop was very helpful. Although this was an online course all the reading assignments were due quickly, but I enjoyed because it helped me to keep up with then work. Prof Bopp made our online class feel like a lecture class because she was always around to help her students. I like how the assignments were commented back from her and she also adds on her opinions. She is a great instructor!
I really enjoyed the diversity that this class had although we could not see one anther but the discussion made it worth whiled, I would log on just to see what people were talking about whether I agree or disagree with it. Of course I am a working wife and mother the flexibility of the online class is an added bonus.
The flexibility of being able to do work on my own time. The deadlines were clearly expressed and were easy to follow. The syllabus explained assignments and due dates and tools from Laulima were used extensively (Gradebook, Assignments, Discussions, etc).
18. What did you like least about your online course experience?
The reading. Some were interesting, while others I had to read several times to understand.
It was accelerated, so it was hard to keep up with the assignments needed. Some of the material was hard to read/ watch because of how personal the content was. But, she did warn us beforehand and overall it was an enjoyable class.
Nothing.
everything was great
I knew what I was getting into when I registered for a summer online course. It was pretty intense as far as when assignments were due as well as all the readings that needed to be accomplished before turning these assignments in.
no negative comment. great peers, helpful instructor, interesting topics, so, great class!
I liked basically everything because it was fun, easy and I learned a lot.
none
A lot of the readings were crammed or felt like they were at least. It would help a lot if they were spread out a little more through out the week instead of cramming 2-3 chapters in one sitting.
Online was the only option I had during the time, but if I had to do it again, I'd choose an in-class for more personal connections with the subject matters.
If I had to say one thing I didnt like about this class it had to be the 3 responses to each discussion and having two to do.
N/A
So far this class is my second online class and I am liking the idea. I must that I was an optimist when it came to online class, but I think it is growing on me. I will definately take more classes online in the future.
None, I enjoyed it.
19. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.
none.
I would have liked it if more of the assignments included more critical thinking instead of definitions and statements to be reviewed, but I'm happy with everything and how this class went.
There is nothing.
Being that this is a summer course maybe having the class discussions and/or assignments due towards the end of the week rather than twice a week. Reading from some class discussions, it does not seem that all the readings were done before answering the questions. Having it due one time towards the end of the week, will maybe give more time to read, understand and ask questions if needed as well as a better explanation when answering the assignments.
I would have liked more films to tie into the readings because the films that we did watch were really informative and interesting.
I don't really know how this course could be improved.
just keep up the good work.
Great course, a little heavy reading in some weeks, other weeks not so much. So for the heavier weeks they could be spread out a little more.
Keep it the way it is. She is a wonderful teacher who already have things in line.
I think everything about this class was great. She gave plenty of time for us to do the assignments.
N/A
The only improvement that I think would be giving the student a few hints on when the test material would be on, overall I really enjoy this class
This course really makes the student think critically and gives them the chance to discuss with other students and Professor Boop about the course material. I feel that this course doesn't have too much to improve on.

14. What did you like most about your online course experience?
Learning the Laulima system a little more. I could do the assignments at my pace, excluding the deadlines of course. It had me increasing in reading and typing on the laptop, as well as learning things about laptops in general.
Discussion and weekly writing assignments
The format of the class made it very easy to have communication and discussion of the materials with both classmates and professor. Online discussion topics were thought provoking and insightful. The guest lecturers also were a great resource over the course of this class.
I liked the interviews and the discussions with my fellow classmates.
Feeling comfortable enough to share personal experiences.
I liked being able to work at my own pace, even though I have a very busy life.
I liked that we were able to use the discussion boards because it allowed people to talk about things that they might not have felt comfortable saying in a classroom.
The guest speakers and the discussion board help a lot and made this class a lot more interesting.
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
I'm a touchy-feely, see you, interacting person. Like when we do in classrooms. I appreciate that some of my fellows placed a picture with their names.
nothing, I loved the class.
Some of the content was heavy at times.
I got distracted while working on assignments.
A lot of people didn't respond on the discussion boards right away, which made it really hard to keep a discussion about the weeks material going.

16. State in two or three sentences how this course could be improved.

Course was perfect the way it is!
Require students post throughout the week instead of three posts on the last day. Have students rewrite a paragraph evaluating their own papers instead of just resubmitting.
I think my only suggestion would be to keep students more accountable for posting earlier so that more people were involved in the discussions.
Professor Bopp's class is very organized and her student expectations are as clear as can be. Nothing needs to be changed.

I really liked all that I learned in the course material. The readings, videos, and guests were all great and very interesting.
The discussion and assignment topics were very thought provoking. The course was very self-directed.
Materials were interesting and from a wide variety of perspectives, really gives insight into family and marriage from other perspectives than your own. I feel like I learned a lot from this course.
how most to of the material was available online except the course reader that we had to purchase. it made things very organized
15. What did you like least about your online course experience?
Well, an online class to me is never better than an in-class experience, however, I was too busy this summer to manage a "regular" class and had to take an online class. That being said, the class was fabulous. I just miss person to person live interactions.
nothing, I really enjoyed this online course

6. What did you find most valuable and helpful about the course?
I found the different opinions expressed in class added to the experience and helped everyone in the class realize that we all have different life experiences and opinions. The speakers that visited class also added tremendously to the subject matter and I'm very grateful that they were able to speak to the class.
Breast feeding is good :D
Her teaching style is endearing and makes the course content relevant to students.
the teacher
The information provide. The facts.
Professor Bopp was extremely knowledgeable, through study and through experience. She was also very blunt and honest, without being rude or condescending. Professor Bopp creates a fun environment and a safe haven for her students to learn.
Professor Bopp made the class material fun to learn and class an enjoyable experience.
Jayne Bopp brought in actual people to better illustrate the content of the studies in class. The study guides are really helpful as well.
I love Patricia Bopp as a professor. She is well educated in what she teaches, has a strong opinion but is very open for discussion, and most importantly has great effective skills to keep her students attention. I like that she uses a lot of visuals to help me understand the material being taught.
I found the different and various topics valuable.
I liked the different angles she helped me to perceive things at, very interesting.
the biology part of class.
I enjoyed learning about the different types to contraceptives that woman can use.
Everything. Especially the guest speakers.
Mrs. Bopp is a great teacher and her teaching style is very unique. Like most college professors, she does class lectures but she also uses other teaching styles as well. She invites guest speakers to share and present information with us. She also uses short clips and videos that display a different perspective of the class content.
The exposure that she gave to topics I've never had exposure to before. Getting to talk to and hear from guest speakers was by far one of the best parts of the class.
I am not a biology major, nor have I taken any science course besides my general ed so I found learning about the human body most valuable. I also found that I enjoyed learning about the various guest speakers she set up for us as well as her knowledge on laws and social norms of American society and other European and Third World societies and was able to make comparisons through her knowledge.
This course was a real eye-opener. My previous education has censored a lot of aspects about the human body and open-sexual orientation.. So I have really appreciated and somewhat overwhelmed at the realities of what I have missed out in high school and community college.
Just about every aspect of the course turned out to be very valuable. I enjoyed the guest speakers, the lectures, illustrations and videos. They all contributed greatly to my learning of the topics in this course.
She brought in amazing guest lecture speakers with great insight on the subject
Her powerpoint slides were very informative and she offered those slides on Laulima to help us study. I enjoyed the videos and guest speakers.
The topics were informative and I especially appreciated the guest speakers in class!
gaining an understanding for situations I had never encountered before.
We covered a wide variety of sensitive and interesting concepts in class. Listening to other's discussions and what others had to say was an eye opener.
The information was fascinating and presented to us in diverse ways that kept your attention and made you want to come to class.
Everything was organized well. All information was on Laulima, well organized and easy to understand. She is very helpful and understanding.
This class gave me many different perspectives on various issues regarding sex, and provided me with information I would not have known otherwise. This class taught me to keep an open mind and look for information that may not exactly support the widely accepted norms.
This was a very informative class. I feel that the content and the issues discussed in this class went above and beyond the syllabus, in a great way.
Prof. Bopp has a great attitude every class and knows how to talk to students of all ages. She keeps the class fun and even with a class of more than 100 students, she gets us all involved and gives everyone a chance to speak their opinion.
Everything was valuable, from the very beginning of the semester to the topics that we are covering now.
All content was relevant to life.
Learning "biological" and "social" perspective of human body, acknowledging "biological" difference in sex, realizing the social hierarchy created by men, invisible fact about "medical" treatment, meeting wonderful guest speakers and instructor.
I thought tha pretty much everything covered in the course was valuable. Alot of what we covered are topics that either will affect us or has the potential to affect us.
Having the lecture powerpoints and exam study guides available early in the semester made it easy to prepare for the class.
Prof. Bopp is the best professor I have ever had. She knows the material and teaches it with excellence.
Professor Bopp was very easy to relate to and how she taught her classes made this class very enjoyable.
7. What did you find least valuable and helpful about the course?
N/A
Orgasms
Nothing. Even the graphic pictures we had to see contributed to the understanding of course materials.
the textbook
I think i would have appreciated the class more if it weren't integrated with women studies. But it definitely made me think.
none.
The class size was a little too large for my liking
Nothing at all
The discussion posts on Laulima. I had a hard time keeping up with that.
Nothing.
being more openminded
I found that the ground rules that were created for the class were the least valuable and helpful; I think that since we are in college, there should be no need for ground rules because students are supposed to be adults. Respecting everyone's opinions and beliefs should be a "given".
the attendance sheet.
I really thought that everything was useful and helpful about this course. There is nothing bad that I can say at all about it.
Nothing. It was a great experience.
Nothing.
It's not so much of the course itself, but of how a lot of the substance from the lectures stirred a lot of contradiciting views, and caused some arguments outside of class. But all in all, i really enjoyed this class!
I didn't feel anything could have or should have been left out.
Some topics were covered in my previous classes
Virginia Hinshaws guest lecture didn't really pertain to our course...
Watching videos/ video clips were helpful. The study guides provided before the exams extremely helped me to study and make good grades.
The students in the class were way too opinionated and dramatic. They made the classroom environment uncomfortable with their constant need to discuss things and give their two cents to every thing we covered. This, of course, was not the professor's fault.
Even though it was a Biology/Women studies course, it wasn't as much biology as it was feminism.
To be honest, I really didn't use the textbook at all.
nothing
Side talking from classmates.

21. How can the instructor improve the teaching of this course?
I think that ground rules may need to be set during the first class as precautionary action, other than that nothing.
Nothing, she's great and the course was a great learning experience.

I would have loved this class if it was taught in a smaller classroom. I didn't like how spread out the students were from each other.
N/a
I don't think she could improve- she's got a really great system, she keeps in interesting, i loved it.
shes awesome i have no complaints.
Professor Bopp can reduce the bias she has on certain subjects. This is a science course, and I feel that facts should be the "main dish" of what is taught in class rather than people's opinions. If people do have things that they want to discuss and debate about, then perhaps opening discussion boards on Laulima would be something she could do to improve the teaching of this course. Other than that, the facts that were presented in class was straight forward.
I thought her teaching style was great and effective. The only thing that I could suggest is implementing group activities or assignments.
walk around during the lectures to stop side conversations / people's inappropriate comments.
I like how she set everything up and how she provided the proper slides on Laulima. I wouldn't have her change anything.
Why fix what isn't broken? She was terrific. She was real and very elaborate in her lectures. She related her lectures with actual visual aid (pictures and videos) and she made sure to include the students in her discussion.
I guess she could have made it more clear that a lot of the topics covered in class are touchy and may be offensive for some, and thus students should refrain from sharing their views with other students via email and such. But what occurred in class this semester was not Professor's fault.
She does a great job so far, with little room for improvement. Maybe she could consider more pictures in the slides? To be honest she does a wonderful job and I am satisfied with how she has run her classroom.
She doesn't have to improve on anything.
Bopp was great!
make males feel more welcome than women, since they are largely outnumbered. Easy to get singled out.
Maybe she can work on different approaches when introducing new topics and/or explaining someone else's view in order to be clearer.
Nothing :) She is doing an amazing job. I can't think of any way to improve on it!
I really like her teaching style, it makes it fun and interesting but some subjects should be less relaxed about and non-chalant.
I think it would be interesting if she brought in people who have more "conventional" opinions on some of the topics and had them sort of debate with one another.
not too much class discussion
She doesn't need, I think she's an amazing teacher!
Nothing, it was great! maybe more guest speakers.
It would be easier for her to use a presenter to move to next slide. Also it is good for us because we have more time to listen to her lecture.
I think it's perfect just the way it is.
Just keep it fun! Always looked forward to this class
