2. Ten years from now I'll probably remember this course most by ...

The films and guest speakers that came and did lectures. The videos that were shown to go along with the course the instructor resents interesting films to think about. The teacher. The reason why people change. the videos the many videos we watched in class The exuberant, yet down-to-earth, way in which Professor Bopp lectures! I think I would remember this course as A reminder that our society is still facing gender and racial inequality. That majority of my class had libral views. I remember that i did not like this class because it was not what i thought it was going to be, and i dont mean that in a good way. family issues The teacher the inructors passion for teaching. the conversations we held in class on relationships and abuse! All her power point shows it really helped me understand the book more and the films and every thing I learned I had really enjoyed this class How terrible it was. In ten years i'll probably remember this course by her extraordinary lectures that are always well thought out and intresting to listen to. Also, i'll probably remember this course by the videos that we watched which were very intresting and life learning. topics that we dicussed about family. the way it helped me look at the world, more specifically our society as a complex network made up of people who's actions affect others in ways we do not necessarily realize. The teacher. She is awesome. She gave us the information in a clear and understandable way. She wanted us to pass therefore she helped us with anything we needed help with. She has a good personality and seems like she loves her job.

28. How did the instructor show concern for students?

By mentioning that she put up slides for class notes. Gives us study guides and heads up on the weeks schedule. Asks questions Check for understanding Makes sure everyone is comfortable she wants the students to do well and makes an effort to offer time and extra credits. genuinly cares for her students and how the material affected some of them. showed concern for her stdents and the subject at hand. She discussed that anything personal shared in the class was kept inside the class room and also she gives a lot of extra credit for people who need it. well we were very lucky to have a teacher cared about our grades so much! listen to what we thought. She sat down and said, you tell me what you think, i am intersting to know what this means to you. contacted them when they missed a class or assignment The instructor is very willing to help her students and make sure that they have all the material to study for tests and that she reminds them of each upcoming assignment due. asking us questions? and responding wih encouraging answers. she went over material in class when as a whole we were doing poorly. she always asks questions and gives examples to make sure we know what she's talking about! she began making study guides that were easy to understand and access when it came time for exams! Giving extra credit and helped us understand the readings very well The instructer shoed concern for her students by giving us extra credit just so that she made sure we passed this class. She let us re-write a paper if we saw that the paper we did could be better. allowing us to get extra credit and redo our papers she would, on more than one occasion, come up to me personally and ask if i needed help with a paper. She wanted all of us to pass her class. She offered extra credit and helped out where she was needed.

29. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?

I liked the powerpoints and films that were shown in the class. I wish that there were more films Disliked- some terms the instructor referred to people as Liked- found things that were going on in 2009 rather than in the past sometimes she speaks in kids lingo to get the messages across. she makes it easy to understand difficult materials. I liked the way she broke things down for the students and that she didn't make it feel overwelming. lets us know exacly what to study for test's instead of the students guessing what to study. save's time. n/a I like that she attempted to make us understand the realities that we are not a land were men/wo men are not created equal. I disliked how she only put her views in to be the material that she thought. She was only one sided and even if you had another point to what she was discussing, you were wrong and some how she made her side and only her side right. very knowledgeable and made subjects seem interesting I liked her originality, she helps you get involved in the subject by making it easy for you to relate to. She uses good examples and has excellent material. She makes class fun and enjoyable. i liked how energetic she is . she was always engaging and spoke in a very engaging tone! it was easy to pay attention in class because she always had something interesting to say! I especially liked the power point shows and her style of teaching I disliked her unprofessionalism, her swearing, her inappropriate comments. What I especially liked about this class was that she taught this class with slid show lectures wich made the students intrested and not so bored. I liked she made an effort to connect with the young students. the information was organized and correlated with the textbook which helped with studying. It seemed personal and she was enthusiastic about her lessons. She clearly noted the things that were going to be on the test and I liked her powerpoints.

30. What else would you like to say about this instructor?

She was always energetic to teach. Funny and interesting. Always had jokes and new her stuff. Different from any other instructor I have ever had wish she was teaching more classes. hope to see her at Manoa campus. n/a She has the ability to be a great teacher but I would like to her in a more complex course were she can explore. Even though we did not have the same morals or views, she was a good teacher, she needs to be more opened minded. She made the test to be very easlisy understood. Gave us time to make our work perfect. great instructor She has a great personality and I look forward to coming to her class. i enjoyed taking this class with you!! She is my favorite instructor She was very unprofessional, she swore in class and made inappropriate remarks. She was very bias. This instructor has taught many so much about family living, sexual abuse, and children. She knows so much about the topic and she always uses daily life examples and even personal examples that helps students understand way better. Also, she has inspired me to do womens study as a back up plan for a career job. Shes fun she is hilarious in class and i never felt too bored to not pay attention. She is one of the best I've had in a long time. Shes personal but not too personal, and she has good knowledge about the subject.

31. Would you recommend this instructor to other students? Why or why not?

Yes of course because she was clear and thoughtful with her work. Her class was easy to follow and it was time paced Yes, instructor keeps things interesting yes. she is serious about her work and teaches her material, but at the same time easy going, creates no stress in the class, homework, or tests. yes, good instructor and very sencere. Yes i would. She makes the class very enjoyable and interesting Yeah! I think she is a good teacher now for this course. No,because i didnt agree with what she said. Yes, because it is an easy A for your social sciences courses. yes, learn alot Yes, she has A great personality I would recommend to any one. Yes. because she makes it fun and teaches very well with examples and slides. yes! because she presented the material in a way you could relate to which i think allows us to remember it better!! i really enjoyed this class! Yes she teaches the subject very well I would never recommend her to another student because she is very unprofessional and the whole course was a waste of money. I would most definetly recommend this instructor to other students, because she is awsome and a great instructor! Yes because the instuctor makes it fun to go to class yes, she is knowledgeable in the material and kind enough to care about the students. Yes. Because it is an interesting class in itself, but with this instructor you look forward even more to attend class every week.
