| Always going around checking on student progress and asking if help or advice is needed. Gives advice on anything that could use improvement. |
| Jonathan always made sure to individually ask us if they had any questions and would give advice on how to improve our work. He always made sure to encourage us to do our best. |

| The instructor shows his concern by always walking around the class and helping everyone. He gives great advice and really knows the subject material so this helps with encouraging and allowing the class to feel comfortable and improve on the material. |

| He takes the time to talk to students and shows them how to do sommething if the student doesn't understand. Encourges students to ask questions if any and he has a great teaching personality that helps students learn easier. |

29. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?

| There is very little pressure to produce work that is really nice. I felt that he looks at each artwork based on who has created it and on how much they know and only expected the students to try their best. |
| I liked the one on one time we had every class and how easily accessible he was if we had any questions. |
| I liked that we got to spend the majority of the time painting. The videos made me want to snore
though, sheesh they were boring. |

| i really enjoyed the setup of the class, starting with still life and then moving to harder things like water and landscape. I enjoy how there were movies and examples and also field trips to paint outside. |

| The only thing I wished he would have been more clear about was how to use the different types techniques. I would've liked to have had more demos or instructions. |

| Yes, I enjoyed this class and felt that it has improved my skills in this particular area. |
| I would definitely recommend Johnathan for beginning watercolor students. I've learned all the basic techniques needed to complete a watercolor painting, how to use brushes, how to mix colors, etc. I've also improved my drawing skills. The class isn't at all intimidating and Johnathan does a good job of encouraging students. |

also very good because you were allowed to chat at times and even listen to music while you were
