19. If you were teaching this course:
a. What would you do to improve it?
b. What would you change?
|
| nothing |
| I would assign more homework, and use the text book that i believe most of us bought, but wasn't required to use it. i could've save money knowing that we didn't have to use the book. For Quiz/exams, ask more question for less points. five and ten points |
| I think his grading was fair but I didnt understand how he marks off points. I mean I try so hard and give my all to each exam but the points just keep marking off. I know the answer and put in my owns works but if it is not stated in exact word for word |
| I wouldn't show outdated films from the 1960's-1970 about inflation and business without showing updated films too, then I could compare the two. |
| Nothing |
| Be very clear about what is expected from the students. It creates confusion when professors go back and forth about ideas. |
| I would give out reviews for tests that apply to the test been given. |
| The tests need to be more specific in what it is looking for. |
| i would have taught from the book, not from copies of paper. also when giving tests, not to make us study everything if only certain parts of the subject matter would be on the test |
|
|
20. What do you think of the teacher and his/her teaching methods?
|
| its good. explains things well and repeats what he says is good |
| Good. I like the old (very old) videos and audio. |
| GOOD! |
| Mr. Ching is very nice, but I don't feel like I learned anything about business now, he showed us slides and film strips from the 60's and 70's. |
| Mr.Ching is a very funny teacher. He makes learning a little bit easier. |
| Mr. Ching is a very understanding teacher. I would have liked him to be more clear about what he expects from the students and be a little more firm with the assignments and what not. |
| He is a very cheerful teacher but sometimes he went overload on study materials for the tests. A lot that I studied was not on the test at all. |
| Mr. Ching shouldn't jump around to other subjects during his lectures. |
| his teaching methods were alright. the notes that he gave, compared to the sheets of paper with information, didn't exactly go hand-in-hand |
|
|
21. Has he/she contributed to your general knowledge or to learning job skills?
|
| yes |
| yes. i learned a lot about business and how they work. |
| Yes! he very knowledgeable in this course just really fast pace. |
| No |
| Yes |
| yes, I learned things about business. |
| I learned some things to do with the principles of business. |
| Yes. |
| what i learned in this course will surely help me in everyday life and the real world |
|
|
22. Other comments:
|
| good teaching |
| I like how he handle himself in the situation in class when other students were ganging up on you. Very pofessional. |
| I know it was hard for him because he said he didn't have the right equipment. Hopefully he will soon. |
| None. |
