the lecture part, she is very knowledgeable about any subject that has to do with samoan history.
Her knowledge of the subject matter is extraordinary. I'm amazed with her age and the indepth knowledge she has. She's a great resource to have and an excellent mentor in the Samoan language.

I would love to continue this class at another level. I'm so glad we have this course and especially having Aumua as an instructor. I'm blessed to have been a student of hers since my mother was one of her students when she was a teacher. i have taken all the samoan courses with this instructor and i find her very intelligent, smart and ambitious towards every student in class. With this i have found more and more every semester i register for a class taken by this instructor and i have obtain a more successful knowledge over the subject on hand.
I recommend Aumua or known to her students as 'Mama', to anyone who wants to learn more about Samoa,the culture, traditions, and language, as well as ceremonial speeches for ava ceremonies or any other traditional ceremonies. She's right on point about everything.

Aumua is like a mother or grandmother to her students. She is very interested in their general success not just in her class. She has decades of experience in teaching.
