22. How did the instructor show concern for students?
he made sure we knew how to do what he was trying to explain.
He took time to understand where each student was and gave tips on how to keep up with the work and how to get good grades.
He is constantly answering students' questions throughout class. He seems genuinely involved with each student as he remembers each students' names. He is very understanding and is just an overall great teacher.
He shows genuine concern for his students by going out of his way to help students even after class hours and outside of office hours. He is more than willing to provide help when things aren't clear or understandable. Even with assignments and studying the material for tests. He also helps us review for tests and goes through things thoroughly.
He has students work in small groups, and uses that time to walk around and give help to students. It is always nice to get 1 on 1 time.
He interacts with students. he doesn't just sit there and read out of a book. He actually cares.
he did his best to make sure we knew what he was teaching and if we didn't he would explain and give examples.
He clearly answers students questions. or if they don't understand he will clearly explain it to them.
Hes always helping us.
Talked on an equal level with students
Asks questons on the regular to make sure we all understand what is going on.
He doesnt leave anyone in the dark.
He encourages input and other ideas to the class discussions. I remember one student gave the wrong answer for one of our practice quiz. That student gave an explanation of why he thought that was the best answer and Paul kind of agreed with him. However, the wrong answer was way too advance for our class but told that student if it was on a test and he explained his reasons that way, that Paul would give him partial credit. If any student was not sure about a problem, he would go over it with that student or the whole class. He's very in tuned to us if we are confused.
He would help me out with anything I needed help with.
For those students who were having a hard time with the material, he took the time to make sure they understood it. Even if that meant taking time before/after class to help the student. He wants his students to succeed in his class.
He shows concern for students by constantly making sure we are up to task with our work. Also he explains the course material quite well, making the need for extra help not often needed, although help is available.
He provides help and extends due dates to make sure students get their work in.
He is truely an amazing teacher. He always goes out of his way when I ask him for help and he makes she that I, as a student, am taking care of! I couldn't ask for a better teacher and will be attending his class for the next level next semester!!
very good! he made sure to keep telling us future hw, and assignments. he repeatedly tell us to go on laulima and make sure do the hw.
always trying to help
When he interrupts a group if they're saying something wrong to say the correct answer lol
He answered questions very thoroughly and thoughtfully.
Always being open to questions and concerns.
He didn't really show concern per say, but he was definitely a great instructor for the students that showed up.
He always offers his time and assistance whenever a student needs help. He makes sure all the students understand the material individually.
He always helps out people who do not get the material.
okay
He asked us questions. He was always willing to help us.
23. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
i like how he speaks really well and knows what he's talking about most of the time. he also is able to be challenged and answer those difficult questions people have.
I liked the freedom he gave us to take reading checks, quizzes, and discussion forums online.
He goes over each specific topic that will be on the test. He has a great course plan. He first gives the lecture on the chapter, then assigns "practice questions" which helps for the students to study for and understand the material before moving on to the next chapter. Class is enjoyable because he uses material outside of the textbook to demonstrate how economic theories are applied to real life.
He gives real life examples making the material easy to relate to and also uses a mix of methods to teach. lots of group participation and not only just straight up lecture, sometimes he has videos and has fun group activities to act out and plan situations related to what we are learning. He applys this course to real life situations.
Interactions.
good at examples
I like that he won't give you to much homework to the point where you are going to be super stressed out, its a good amount of work we get.
yeah very interesting teacher. Made course a lot more fun.
He gave many every day examples
I love his class, he makes it fun and easy to learn.
I love his passion for this subject and his willingness to explain further when lecturing. I love how we do class activities, I know my classmates and feel very comfortable when asking questions.
His teaching is encouraging and makes you want to do good. Even though I have a very hard time using Econ jargon.
He makes the subject easier to understand and fun! I really enjoyed his class.
He provided many real life examples in his teachings.
I like how Mr. Briggs was very interactive with the class. He walked around during lectures or discussions. He gets the class involved into the discussion even the shy ones who don't say anything. He used different methods so it wasn't the same thing every chapter.
Is very fun and can joke around with the class. He is there not only to teach, but to get student to want to learn the material. I look forward to coming to class. This is the second econ class I've taken and this is much better than my first class.
I liked the fact that he used traditional and simple styles of teaching. none of this complicated electronic teaching that in my opinion does not help. I also like the fact that he focuses more on teaching rather than making students do work for a course that they are just recently starting to learn. He focuses more on student learning rather than homework. However, his homework that was given was very easy to understand and work with.
I enjoyed everything.
Well economics is not very fun to learn about in general, but Paul makes class very interesting and I enjoy attending his class. His teaching method is very effective!
the way he teaches with humor
How it was enjoyable to be in, but still kept the material interesting.
I didn't like the lecture notes. but that's just because i don't like powerpoints. they're boring to me. but i like the group work.
The energy of class kept thing interesting.
He was friendly and always allowed his humor to be a part of our lectures. It was never boring.
He makes it fun and gets people involved
okay
He was very enthusiastic about the subject. He was interested in helping us learn.
24. What else would you like to say about this instructor?

He is a great economics teacher and has a great plan for his course over the semester.

He is a Gem.
Over all he is a very good teacher. He brought a little humor to class. I just hope I can prove how good he is by passing his class with at least a "B".
He's funny, outgoing, a great teacher, and loves all of his students(who attend class).
You're a good teacher. Keep it up!
Great guy!
Not much other than the fact that he should continue to teach the way he does already for the next classes he has. His teaching focused method works well. I also love the fact that his tests and quizzes are all easy to understand multiple choice problems. Very easy to work with equals very easy learning.
I think my piont has already been made, but Paul Briggs is an amazing teacher and his teaching methods are very effective.
highly recommended. he is very enthusiastic, easy to talk to and overall a good teacher.
really cool guy
He has a good balance of funniness and informativeness.

Yes, he will provide you with a substantially good amount of basic knowledge in his Economics 130 class.
Yes, I would recommend it. Only if the other student(s) are interested in economics or looking for a challenge. The class itself isn't too hard, but the material can be confusing to understand.
Definitely
Yes, because he explains the course so well that even a student that knows nothing about economics would easily understand. None of this "no calculator" handicaps that only prove to make a student's live more difficult.

26. Other comments:
n/a
Maybe make the tests harder?
I like the power point presentation, but mostly I wish we had more chances on the RC. That would have made my comprehension for Economics a lot better for me.
Great teacher
One of my favorite teachers!
none other than Briggs is quite an excellent teacher.
NA
I'm glad I took his micro economics my first semester of college.

22. How did the instructor show concern for students?
I am going through some major family issues...and have been depressed....Mr. Briggs was kind enough to meet with me and assist me in making an outline to jump start me for a paper that was over a month past due....
helps us thoroughly
He always made sure that all students understood the material that was being covered before moving on. I know that whenever I had issues with the course or if something came up, he worked with me guaranteeing I would get the best grade possible.
Briggs had shown contact by consistently engaging with the students in his class. He would bring the quieter students from in the class into discussion and help them answer questions he presented them. Briggs also made it very clear which elements would be the most important for grades, and allowed his students be successful through that.
By answering question and coming to class on time and prepared
he would talk one on one with the students and answer any questions they might have had for the chapter.
He is available for helP outside of class
If it was unclear that there was an online quiz, he gave an extra day to do it.
He helped us study and prepare for tests. He also allowed the class to use formula cards for tests which I must say was incredibly helpful!
He made up practice questions for the students to answer and went over them in class to make sure that all was understood.
No matter what, he wants all of us to succeed.
In my experience as his student for Macroeconomics, you wouldn't be able to find another instructor as good Mr. Briggs. He raised the bar of excellence, in my opinion.
He gives us time to turn in our assignments.
He makes sure that they are okay and on track.
Best teacher for econommics by far. Answeres clearly with great analogies
When I spoke to him privately about a situation of mine he is very understanding.
He always listens to them.
He helped us and taught us
Paul Briggs showed concern for students by shutting our classroom door every time the Drama class would be making excessive noise every single class session. He eliminated distraction in order to keep us focused to the subject at hand.
He offered office hours
He makes sure everyone understands the topic being explained.
He helps us get the main ideas!
By making class FUN, yet we covered what we needed to cover.
extended extra credit on tests, took attendance.
He was always willing to help answer any questions, in and out of class.
He seems genuinely interested in each students' course progress. It seems like he will spend more time on a student who is behind to make sure they understand the material.
if they need help with a question, or don't understand a theory.
23. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
Very enthusiastic and tries to make it interesting by doing group discussions, games, and icebreakers...
i liked how in depth he was
I really enjoyed his class. He gets the students involved and we did a lot of hands on activities relating to the lessons we were covering at the time. He also lectured in a way that was easy to understand and could actually relate to on some level.
I liked that Briggs had videos of each of his lectures available online. This allowed me to learn at the same pace, even when not in class while I had been sick. A single lecture may not get all concepts through to students. However, when one is able to watch it over and over again, it may make a bit more sense.
He has us do groups to help compare homework
I really liked the way Mr.Briggs taught this course, he really made it enjoyable. I never caught myself drifting off into space. I had a good feeling about the course since the first day! :D
It gave me good insight to the world of economics
He kept the class interesting and made learning fun.
He is very interested in Economics, so much so that he made the class fun and related it to the "real world."I really enjoyed this class.
I really like how everything is routine. Reading check, lecture, practice questions I know what to do ahead of time and I get it done.
Nothing to dislike, He always made it interesting.
Allows us to express ourselves in our own ways.
He's interesting and know how to connect.
I liked doing the forum questions on Laulima
He involved the students in discussions.
He made everything easy to understand
He made it a point to ask the class if there was anyone who did not understand before moving on to the next point...I really like that about him.
I like that he is very knowledgable and knows how to explain concepts to students who have never taken an ECON class before.
I like the fact that he uses humor when teaching the class. It creates the students to become more comfortable which makes the students interact more with the teach and each other.
He is humorous he makes class fun. If he wasnt a economics teacher he could have worked theatre.
The examples used and the way he explained things made it really easy to comprehend.
I like how he used real examples, always brought something interesting to his lectures.
Great in class activities. Overall the structure and grading was excellent. He taught the class in a way that allowed us to learn a lot and achieve a good grade, leaving each class with a lot of new knowledge.
He goes over each specific topic that will be on the test. He has a great course plan. He first gives the lecture on the chapter, then assigns "practice questions" which helps for the students to study for and understand the material before moving on to the next chapter. Class is enjoyable because he uses material outside of the textbook to demonstrate how economic theories are applied to real life.
i liked the enthusiasm and relativity of his teaching.

yes, I have in fact recommended other students to take Economics 130 & 131 from Paul Briggs because he is the reason why I'm achieving a course grade of "A". When he teaches, I get it and I was told that understanding Economics was too difficult but not if Paul Briggs is teaching economics.
Yes, his class in general is informative and useful for everyday life.

22. How did the instructor show concern for students?
Mr. Briggs always allows time for questions or concerns, he is very caring and flexible towards the needs of his students.
Made sure all students were on the same page by answering questions clearly and prepped us well before an actual test.
Asks if we have any questions and lets us know we can see him after class.
Professor Briggs shows his concern for students by having class arguements. For example if majority of the class forgets to do an assignment, he allows you to do it without losing points. When we recieve our test, if we give a good explanation on what problem we get wrong and how it suppose to be right we earn points to have a higher grade.
he is always making sure we know the material before moving on.
He always explains things and makes time outside of class to help. He makes time for each and every student.
He always made sure everyone understood the material before he moved on.
He always makes sure that we understand the material before tests.
If we have a question he answers it.
He helps them and manages to engage as many students as he can.
He offers time for questions and discussion about anything regarding the course.
He constantly asked if we had any questions
Paul Briggs was excellent at making time for students who needed the extra help. I often stopped by his office unannounced, and he was happy to accommodate my questions.
Making sure that every student understood concepts especially the more complex principals.
Makes sure everyone knows what's going on and when things are due.
It is evident Professor Briggs cares about the quality of education each students receives in taking his course; it is one of excellence. By coming prepared for each class and consistently checking to see if his students were on track with the material he showed concern for his students. He displayed a genuine interest not only in the subject but also each student. Professor Briggs effectively communicated all significant course content and made it easy to want to come to class.
He always made sure that we were able to get our work in on time, and also if there were ever any questions he would go to great lengths to make sure that we all understood the material.
Mr. Briggs made sure everyone understood the material by asking us questions before moving on to the next subject.
HE REALLY DOES SHOW CONCERN AND WORK WITH US TO LEARN THE ECONOMICS LANGUAGE. HE ALSO HELPS BY DISCUSSING WHAT WE CAN USE TO DO BETTER ON OUR EXAMS.
When most of the class didn't do some of the online quizzes or forum he would push back the deadline date a couple of days to give the students a second chance to finish it.He would also give the quizzes more than one try if most of us got a low score.
He would give us help outside of class if we needed.
He makes sure that we know about all due dates.
Mr. Briggs always asks our class if we need any clarification and offers extra credit for those who still struggle after any difficulties. He does his best to make certain that his students pass the course.
constantly looks for students to ask questions
He want us to do well in the class and is easy going when assignments are turn in late
He I a very good teacher always asks is of we get it and can we move on
Paul Briggs always shows concern by making sure the class is understanding his lectures. He also reviews all our tests to make sure we know what we got wrong and why it's wrong.
He would make himself available for students if the student had any questions, he would also listen to the students if there was any thing going on with the students.
Always checked for clarification with students to see if they didn't understand a concept.
He's a very attentive teacher and makes learning exciting! He lets us know when where & how he can be reached. He also responds to emails you send him. He's a great teacher
He always tells us how we can improve and what we can work on to get a better grade.
He asks us if we understand the concepts & encourages us to participate during lecture.
He made clear and precise directions for all assignments.
Being awesome!
23. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
Mr. Briggs makes a difficult subject like economics interesting, and easy to understand. He take the time explain the subject in basic terms and gives examples that the students can relate to in our everyday lives.
He made it entertaining and fun for us to learn while in class.
Teaching persona is truly unique, made the material interesting and fun at the same time.
I really enjoyed his examples. It made understanding the material a lot easier.
I enjoy everything about the class. He gives a lot of clarification to his lectures and is very helpful.
His enthusiasm makes the course exciting and much easier to learn
he has a good sense of humor and clear ways for us to grasp the material.
Very easy to follow and you know what he expects.
I liked he way he taught the subject and made it interesting.
He always has a lot of energy so it keeps the students engaged which is good because I have his class at 8:00am.
He explains things clearly and he knows his course.
He is extremely straightforward with the requirements making it very clear how to do well. He is also very transparent with the grading procedures and requirements which guides students to do well on exams. He makes things comprehensive and dynamic yet easy to understand.
I like how the tests were set up to learn gradually and not too much at one time.
He put us in to groups. That helped alot
The schedule of assignments due can be more organized. Example, work that is due next week should be placed the week of class week
I love Paul's enthusiasm and the fact that he took the material and related it to situations in the real world, thus making the material easy to understand. I also liked the fact that Paul encouraged questions and answered them in a way that was easy to understand.
I liked The interactive games we played. The role playing when we were all either a buyer or seller. It helped with the understanding a lot. =]
I like that he already had the outline of the slideshow in the notebook we had to buy for the class. That made it easy to pay attention more and not always be trying to write down everything on each slide.
Made it entertaining.
Professor Briggs used all mediums of communication and teaching in this course. He proficiently used Laulima by posting course material, messages, tests, and videos. In class he not only used the traditional form of lecturing, but also used relavent powerpoints, and wrote pertinent information on the whiteboard. All objectives and rules were clearly defined and strictly adhered to. Everything was explained in a black and white manner which made it easy to follow.
He's very funny and an overall cool guy.
I liked how my classmates and I got together in groups, and did skits to show our values and ideas.
IT WAS FUN TO LEARN ECONOMICS EVEN THOUGH IT WAS LIKE LEARNING ANOTHER LANGUAGE.
I especially liked that he had a sense of humor that kept the class engaged and entertained while we learned something.
I really liked the in class group work because he let us come up with their own ideas.
He uses slide shows and we get into group work and do fun activities
He relates the topics to every day life situations and includes the class in various activities to make sure that we fully understand what he is teaching us.
the amount of reading checks that made us read and understand the chapters before hand.
His not and how he prints out all the slides he use in his power points of us... Makes studying a lot less stressfull
Hes super nice and funny even of you get a bad grade on a test he'll joke about it and inspire you to do good
I like everything about the way Paul taught this course. His schedule is on point and he gives just enough exams.
He makes the course interesting by giving us articles to read that are related to the course and to today world. This makes it easier for us students to understand what we are learning.
I really liked how Briggs used everyday examples to explain concepts that we could relate to. I kind of didn't like how he used terms that were new to me and had a hard time to understand how it was related to the main points.
He's very funny and interactive! He also does a lot of activities wih us and makes sure we know what going on
Briggs is a fun teacher and he makes his lectures very interesting and keeps you motivated to come to class.
I like how Professor Briggs gives us another chance in our homework, by letting us complete the online assignments even though they're closed/overdue.
I like how he uses lifetime examples for his course.
He is funny!

22. How did the instructor show concern for students?
Being patient
Gives us time to do work late with the opportunity to get a good grade still. Also he asks us how we want things in the class. For example, asked when we wanted the midterm, before or after spring break.
He always seems to want the class as a whole to do better...
He allows goes around to check everyones work! Very Helpful, And very nice
He reminds the students about up coming assignments, quizzes and papers.
He answered all questions concerning his course.
He answered all of my questions
Paul Briggs did many student involved activities and prepared us all for upcoming papers and tests.
When he told us our second test was going to be after spring break and we asked for it to be before spring break because it would be easier for us to remember the things we lernd for the test, he changed the test date to before spring break.
he answerred all our quesrions thoroughlyy
If students show up for class early and there is time, Mr. Briggs takes the time to be involved in their conversations and shows genuine interest and even relays stories and examples related to the conversation.
Paul was always there to help in times of need. Also, he answered all questions that were asked, and he also accommodated those who needed it.
He explains the problems very well
When a student didn't understand a scenario he would keep trying until they understood.
He would always go over our review and even if some people were still confused we would all talk about it as a class
He knows some students can be forgetful at times so he tries to make the online quizzes due like a week later and then explains them in the next class.
23. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
He cared about everyone learning about economics
It was easier and more interesting than I thought it would be
The way he taught the course it was interactive and i feel like i learned a lot
He had a good sense of Humor.
I didnt like how Mr. Briggs didn't give ENOUGH extra credit.
His assignments were fairly graded and assigned.
He is very happy about the subject he teaches and adds humor to the lectures.
I liked that he printed out the power point slides out for us, but at the same time because the information was already on them I did not know what I should have been writing down unless he wrote something down on the board.
i like his early morming attitude and how awake he makes the class with his knowledge
Mr. Briggs is very passionate about his subject and you can tell that by how he teaches.
I liked the way he Paul was so enthusiastic about teaching and made the course fun. I learned much more than just a typical lecture class.
I like his course. Very interest Way of teaching
I love the videos he would show. He was very passionate about economics and his excitement excites us. He makes thing interesting that you want to go on and learn more about it. I find myself looking up some of the videos he shown in class to share with others and even looking out for others.

24. How did the instructor show concern for students?
He is available outside for class during office hours.
He made sure that if people had questions, they were answered to the fullest.
He answers the questions that we have and if something comes up to where we could not do something then he helps us out and he makes it so that we can reach a decision on the matter.
Asks questions to make sure students understand. Gives detailed explanations of subject matter.
offered help. made subject easier to understand. really broke things down to make it easy to understand
Mr.Briggs would make sure he incorporated every one in the class during participation sessions as to not leave any one out.
He made sure he was available for help if we needed it and was open to helping us if there were any conflicts with the class or work.
He made sure everybody was on the same page and encouraged questions to clarify the subject matter.
Mr. Briggs would ask if any one had any questions. Also he would show the class small clips from the internet to help support the topic. Which I enjoyed.
He made sure that everyone understood the material that was given.
if we had any questions he was more then happy to explain
Mr.Briggs made sure that everyone in the class understood the material before he moved on to the next subject.
By clarifying all points mentioned and continuously keeping us updated with what's going on or what lies ahead.
He answered quetions clearly and shows concern when we need help.
If we had trouble understanding homework or questions on the exams he'd clearly explain it to us. I was never intimidated to ask a question which always makes it easier for a student to learn.
He jokes around with students. That in a way is showing that he cares about his students.
I can see that he tries his best at each class period to give the same high enery and to make hard subjects easier to understand by showing short move clips
Mr. Briggs always asked us questions so that he knew we were actually learning the material. He asked if we understood the confusing concepts and was always available for questions if we needed it.
He would ask questions to see if we're paying attention!
He takes time to make sure everyone understands what he is teaching.
he really made sure everyone understood the concepts being presented.
he asked if we had question and explained complex ideas over so we could understand the subject better
yes, he asks if anyone has questions and will answer them the best he can.
If you would bother to read the first 21 questions you would be able to figure out how he showed his concern. This question should be removed.
He asked us if we wanted to do a after class group to help us better understand the test that we take. For example we would take the test then get our scores back which we went over if we still did not understand the questions that we got wrong then we ha
Paul always made sure he answered any questions we had before and after class.
He was very personable. He always answered questions we had. He was available outside of class. He also offered extra credit for those who wanted to do it.
he always asks us if we understand, or if he needs to repeat himself for us to understand the concept more clearly
After a section of the lecture was over, he would always ask if anyone had any questions.
by answering questions even if they were not exactly on the subject.
he is very kind and knows my name
He is always willing to help you better understand a particular problem by explaining how he got an answer.
By asking us if we understand the material and seeing if we have any questions that he may be able to answer.
The instructor allows students to ask questions, no matter how silly the question might seem.
Making sure that if anyone asked a question, he would try to answer it for that one person which would ultimately end up helping everyone.
He offered extra help outside of class time.
He always makes sure to ask questions if anyone isnt following along.
By being lenient toward students who face difficult situations where personal professional issues may influence school work.
If there were any questions following an assignment, he gave students oppurtunities to see him after class hours to discuss it with him.
showed students there grades and explained what they could possibly do to help, or better their grade.
He was able to answer questions by using examples and made sure that we understood.
25. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
He makes the class interesting by using real life situations and examples.
He is a very hype teacher and he is not boring. He makes early morning classes fun.
I really liked how he was very energetic and enthused about his topic.
Lectures were usually good. Not monotone or excessively drab.
the energy that mr. briggs brought to class. every tuesday and thursday he was ready with such a good amount of energy it made class easy to get through and learn.
I especially liked how Charismatic Mr.Briggs was, I took the 8:15 class and was amazed at how energetic he was and how much energy he brought with him every morning.
he made it interesting with his enthusiasm for the subject. you can tell he really likes his job through the way he teaches.
I liked how he went in-depth with his examples since not everybody understands Economics immediately. He also had videos of current events in which what we learned applies, which helped a lot in putting things in perspective.
I like the way the Mr. Briggs would call on everyone in the class to participate.
He gave us practice test before the actual exams. This allowed us to know if we knew the material as well as we thought and it allowed us to ask questions.
made economics fun and easy to learn
Mr. Briggs made class fun and enjoyable to be in. he would laugh with us and make the material he was teaching relate to us in a way where it was easy to understand.
Slideshows. They make things so much easier to understand rather than a cluttered textbook.
I enjoyed his humor and how he made the class enjoyable and easy to learn.
Well, it definitely wasn't boring for me. Even though it was an 8:15 am class, I never felt like I was going to fall asleep. The instructor made it interesting and gave real life examples to help keep us interested. I was comfortable enough to ask ques
The way we cover the end of the chapter with the review is helpful to a person like me. To make sure that all the main points are covered. It also helps me to concentrate on particular topics when I have to read or take a test.
very entertaining, makes me laugh
I liked that he was always so well prepared for each class. He made the class entertaining because he seemed really interested in the topic he was teaching. Each class passed by really fast because we were always learning.
I dont like to be put on the spot, however, it keeps me on my toes and involved with what we are covering.
I like how much extra credit he gives and I especially like that he does not overwhelm you with homework.
he lightened things up with jokes and it wasnt always the same thing every class.
i like how he explained the material through power point and did practice tests with us so we know what is going on
I liked how he had organized power points.
I liked the variety of teaching methods the instructor used. They included group discussion, Q & A, videos, and practical lecturing. It helps to keep the mind from stagnating when you use variation.
He always had humor in this class and joking around but for some reason it was pertaining to the subject!!! :) He made it in a way so we could understand and kept it in our heads by making jokes.
I like how he made almost everything relate to our daily lives.
He involved us in many different activities while in class.
he is very enthusiastic.
I liked that he was very personable and very easy to talk too.
you can tell he loves his job the way he teaches.
related subject to everyday life
I liked that he kept the course interesting, up beat and used current events as examples.
I like how he gives examples based on our understanding. Examples that can relate to us.
The instructor must learn to manage time better in order to avoid cramming subjects in at the last minute before an exam. However, overall, the instructor does do a good job of deciding what to include on the exam if time is of issue. If the instructor
I really liked how he had a great attitude and although it was a pretty much "lecture" course, it wasn't really boring.
He gave you chances to do extra- credit.
I disliked the journals mostly because i just hate to write.
He is very humorous and lively. Teachers who are monotone dont communicate very well with an audience and lose their attention quick. However, Mr. Briggs manages to incorporate conversation into the learning process wich allows for students to casually pr
Made economics understandable and easy.
I like that he used different ways of teaching like the chalkboard, the power point, videos, activities, journal writing, and discussions. It makes learning the material a lot easier. The only thing that I disliked was at times we would get off subjec
