Nothing much but he can go off topic quite a bit
I'm not to sure he could. I learned so much just about myself in this class. I think that all freshmen should take this class, to better help to understand the rest of the world.

He can improve by giving more extra credit sessions but other than that, his class is really helpful and fun :))
Little can be done to improve teaching of this course. Steve does an exeptional job at teaching philosophy.

His ability to connect
He talks to them about their grade if it drops low
He made sure that everone understood the subject.
He takes interest in students as people and allows time after class for open discussion.
He shows by asking us questions and he does give extra credit sessions for those students who needs extra help in keeping up with their attendance points so we do not fall behind. (also recording the sessions are a big bonus too) :)))
Steve shows concern for his students by offering extra credit sessions out of class hours.
By patiently answering all of our questions and being interested in what we had to say.
He told us he cares.
27. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
I liked his energy
I like how engaging he is
he would give both objectives.
Your energy is inspiring.
I liked his way of teaching because he doesn't make topic boring or hard to understand. He breaks it down for us that way it is easier for us to know what we are learning about.
I like how passionate Steve is about philosophy. His knowledge for this topic is profound.
I liked how he made class very lively and interesting.
You can tell that he is very interested in what he teaches.
28. What else would you like to say about this instructor?
AWESOME TEACHER
He makes me want to take more classes, but I don't have the time.
I particularly liked that he adjusted to the students and took notes on new approaches that worked. Notes he intends on using to continue developing his already well structured course.

I already have recommended him, because of the way he teaches.

Yes I would because he makes learning more fun and he tests us to make sure that we understand the material we are learning before moving on to the next subject.

Add power points and a study guide.
Professor Stegeman cannot improve his course any more. His course was the funnest and a better learning class that i have had in a long time.
He could explain things a little more clearly. (Not using big confusing words and twisting them around)
I think it's fine and doesn't need improving.
Adding a review session for an exam.
the course is very good the way it is.
He's an amazing teacher, I wouldn't change a thing.
I liked the course. Although at some times I got a little confused because the information was all over. Maybe the use of powerpoint or the computer to be able to help lectures.

He'll go over a topic if the student needs to, he'll listen to you and give you a respectful solution.
His attendance policy is great and gives us plenty of extra credit opportunities
Professors Stegeman accomodates our hardships and aids accordingly, a hreat example of this is if one would miss class they could have many opportunities to make it up. He allows us as students to take charge of Our cacareers.
He would let us know one way or another.
He would always ask if students were okay.
Encourages us to email him or asks if we understand the subject.
he answers their questions openly and honestly
He shows much concern for his students.
27. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
I liked his class he was energetic and enthusiast .
his class was very engaging
Professor Stegeman has a great teaching style. He comes into class well prepared and could teach the class blind folded, no joke. But in all seriousness, he breaks it down to easy understanding but never gives the answer, he help us students to arrive upon the answers. He clearly states what we need to know for the test and gives ample time to do the test.
I liked how fun and exciting he made class at times.
I liked that if you didn't understand his examples that he would always do a quick summary of what he just said.
Professor Stegeman made class fun without any group work and that is extremely hard to find in a classroom.
he is a very enjoyable speaker and very animated.
I did not like that some of the lectures went off point. I had a little bit of difficulty taking notes and then applying them to the exam.

He's a fun teacher!
He is a good teacher made me want to learn more
He is the most inspirational teacher i have had the pleasure of knowing. There are many words to discribe this increadible teacher but what i do want to say is that windward community college is lucky to have him teaching because he is a quality teacher that exceeds in every area.
He's and awesome person and professor.
He's pretty chill.
He knows his material and gives all his students a fair chance to pass the class.

Yes he goes through lessons in a lot of detail.

This man needs a raise, he clearly has worked his butt off to achive such a great quality of teaching and to perfect his knowledge in his feild. But that not enough , he is humble and shows humility in knowing there is more to learn. This is a great teacher, and somebody i aspire to be like.

He wrote back on all our information that was turned in and have valuable office hours with us.
One time a chick was crying from our class and he want to talk to her and comfort her and he also told us that if we seen her around to comfort her of she needs it
He answered questions and accomodated students during family emergencies.
He gave us many chances for extra credit.
He knows what it's like as a student and is flexible when it comes to tardiness and absences and late work.

27. What did you especially like/dislike about the way the instructor taught this course?
I loved how he lectured, every lecture was very thought out and very planned, he is a very organized instructor.
He's energetic but I don't like how some things he talks about it confusing so I get lost. He also goes on rants sometimes that I can't fully follow
I enjoyed his stories and examples such as the co-exist bumper sticker and the waterless building. Sometimes, I thought he held too rigidly to his philosophical beliefs in terms of trying to understand why or how students reached certain conclusions or explainations.
I like how into philosophy he is. I could really tell that he loves his job.
I like how he explained philosophy in a way where we can relate to it and understand it the way he wants us to.

Yes and no. If you don't want to think and work hard, I would very much not take him. If you want a very engaging class, then take him.

He grades very tough. He has many bonus points so it is doable. You never know where a lecture will go as he goes over the material. He only does lecture based course work. I don't know how group work would be able to happen, but something different would be nice. I didn't have a lot of interaction with my classmates. He is a wonderful teacher. I would love for him to teach more. Great job!
