The movie poster How he provided feedback on your assignments. The instruction material for learning photoshop and the reference materials. Just doing PHOTOSHOP every week and learning something new every week. Photoshop... A real challenge

10. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

The final project Wasn't exactly sure how he decided how many points to take off. The fact that the grades were not posted in timely manner. He has his particular students he favors more than other students and it's very obvious. For example, Wayne Muromoto gave me an "F" from the beginning of the class. One of the assignments we did, he has blocked mine from viewing and/or to download. While the other students assignment is downloadable to view the video file. none

The instructor did not reply to most of the many emails that I've sent him. It was a fun class

3. What did you like least about your online course experience?

I actually enjoyed our class and don't have anything to say about it at this moment. I can't say that I disliked anything - every lesson was well laid-out and explained, plus the student samples that were provided helped clarify the assignment even further. I can see how layout, design and prior knowledge of art terms would be helpful before taking the class, since these were used in addition to teaching tools in Illustrator. N/A Great class, awesome instructor. None, assignments due dates were reasonable. The fact that it isn't anonymous. He clearly labels which artwork belongs to each person and displays it for the rest of the class to see. Nothing to report.

4. What did you like most about your online course experience?

I really liked how Professor Muromoto personally demonstrated techniques through his videos. It really made me feel like I was in the class and the visual really helped. The due dates and assignments were clearly laid out and explained and I can really appreciate the organization of everything. The instructor, Mr. Muromoto; he was clear in his instruction, helpful when critiquing finished work and prompt in responding to email. I also appreciated the ample time we were given to work on each assignment, which helped produce more "finished" digital artwork. due dates are reasonable I liked the interaction with the instructor and the students. Got a better understanding on how to us illustrator and no longer hating it due to past experiences. Convenient for those under a work schedule.

12. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?

I liked how professor Muromoto displayed the class projects from all the students and offered his advice and thoughts. I feel that reading through them helped me to understand the nuances much better. My choice would be using Illustrator (at home). I also enjoyed most of the assignments, such as the 3-D label/product making and learning how to do the clipping mask. learning how to use the adobe illustrator I really enjoyed the instructions and the projects. Some of the projects were fun to do. nothing The opportunity to work with an art software.

13. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

As I said before, I pretty much liked everything Perhaps the span of Illustrator experience (from proficient to beginner) among the students. I was both blown away by some of the student work and at the same time didn't want other students who were just beginning to "feel bad" about their artwork if they'd never used the program before. N/A All great. None The fact that it's art. And really because it's art, and the teacher is going to be judgmental about each piece, it's hard to get a "perfect" based on one's own artistic skills without incorporating something that the teacher wants to see. Assignments were graded on criteria not present in the lectures.

I really enjoyed this online class and am happy to say that Mr. Muromoto was very helpful, knowledgeable, fair, and even funny throughout the semester - a well balanced professor. Thank You! N/A I would like to thank Mr. Muromoto for a great online experience. I learned a lot and looking forward to continuing my learning especially doing more historical Hawaiian buildings like the Iolani Palace. none

4. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?

Improving Photoshop skills and gaining a better understanding of Digital Imaging from making paper to printing large quality photo's. I think this course helped me to express myself artistically. I learned a lot of different "how to's" in photoshop from Professor Muromoto. I also learned to take pride in all of the artworks I produced in this class. We spent a good part of the time on the presentation of our artwork; be it delivering oral/visual presentations for each of our assignments, or refining our works, organizing, and putting up an art show on campus. I felt that presenting our work was the most valuable experience. Most all of it, from photoshop work to printing.

5. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?

No comment. I don't have anything bad to say about this class because I really like it. Much of the lessons were review of what we learned in Art 112 and other courses; but I can't say that anything was least valuable.

I liked the variety of projects that we worked on and found critiques to be very useful. I like how were a small class because I believe each of us was given enough attention and it made it easy for us to get along. I liked how near the end of the course, the class began to work together as a group, to put up the art show. Photoshop work

Nothing I'm not going to make any comments here about what I liked the least. Non photoshop work

Like what I said in my previous comments, I like this class. I never thought I would have fun while learning something new from my peers. I just wish all classes are like this. Thank you for everything Mr. Muromoto small class size: only six students

18. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?

Although it was an online course and I'm on a different island (Kauai), it felt as though I was in a classroom, considering the amount of suggestions, guidance, and feedback I received during this course. Everything was assigned in a timely manner, and every weekly assignment was something new. I enjoyed the concepts of the course and how Mr. Muromoto explained them. He's a great teacher! the course schedule was well done progressed from easy to hard. the animation assignment though in my opinion should be graded with more regards to the animation aspect with the inclusion of basic animation principles. I liked how we only had one assignment either weekly or bi-weekly. I am familiar with the material so it was easy so for me just to get the assignments done and turn them in rather than sit in a class for hours upon hours getting instruction on it. I like the diverse assignments that seemed to build on each other. They were all based off of things that could potentially be done if you were to follow this kind path. I really enjoyed learning photoshop and getting a whole new knowledge on designing things! It was such a great class! I liked the assignments. They taught me a lot and helped me to learn more and more about photoshop. It was a great course! The teacher responded well to questions and concerns. Student interaction was encouraged. I liked that other students work was available for comparison and examples. I enjoyed the web page and DVD cover project the most because it gave me the feeling that I will use Photoshop in real world situations. learning the skills, he does explain things well and he is very good about responding back and answering questions in time. Enough examples from previous students along with his lectures that helps one understand the projects well. The projects were very fun to attempt!

19. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

None. n/a i did not like how we shows everyone our work and places comments next to them some people might be uncomfortable with that especially when you turn in the final work and then he tells you how you can improve. I didn't like uploading the assignment up to the UH server to make it a webpage because all the softwares rejected my information. Uploading html files to the internet. It was very difficult and confusing! I did not care to much for the animation project in photoshop. It felt like I should use a different program instead of photoshop for animation. Sometimes, his evaluation of student work is very subjective. It would have been better if the professor explained what we could have done to make our projects better.

good course overall highly recommend it to anyone who needs a da requirement met. This course was one of the best online courses I have ever taken! I love the assignments and the material covered. The teacher is great! He gives clear and organized lessons that all pertain the subject and material we are learning. The students within the course were all great and seemed to help each other. You couldn't have wished for a better class! I have to say, I really learned a lot about photoshop. This class is the first time I have ever used photoshop and looking at the projects we did with it I definitely say that I have learned more than I expected. very good at answering questions in time.
