19. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?

Learning a new database, QuickBooks. It was time consuming but that comes with discipline.

It was an EXCEL class that I could use in everyday life. The on-line lectures were clear and easy to follow. It helped to explain what the textbook did not.

The book explained things fairly well. the examples provided in the book were very helpful.

I liked that it was easy to learn and that the book was really helpful.

20. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

Can't complain.

The lack of instructor assistance and the lack of concern by the instructor when help was needed, was what I liked the least. I was amazed by the amount of emails flying around from student to student to try and figure things out. Many times I submitted an assignment not knowing how I did on the previous chapter. Mr Fujita would also respond to email questions on how to complete an assignment, after the due date had passed. I didn't like the fact that when points were missed on an assignment, there was no response from the instructor on why it was wrong, only that it was wrong. Assistance would have been especially helpful when one chapter carried over into the next. Also, grading was very slow. The instructor would need prompting to post grades, more than a week after the assignment was due. Mr. Fujita is very hands off, and has very high expectations. I understand the expectations, especially in an online course, however, even more so, if someone is wanting to know why something is wrong, he should help the student. It's not an exam and is not a secret... I feel that Mr. Fujita's lesson here is "Well, in the real world, you'd have to figure out on your own, so figure it out." He should be there to teach not just to grade. The other problem with the course, is that quickbooks would receive updates on line, but the students were still working with a now "outdated" book and would have to "create" their own workarounds.

I didn't like that some of the work was hard to complete.

No comments, just he's a great instructor. It depends on the student if they keep an open mind about the way he teaches his class and not by what they hear. He does expect us to push ourselves to the limit..=)

I like excel so the class was enjoyable. I appreciated the step by step videos for some of the problems.

I really enjoyed this class. I hope to work more with the program one day.

The textbook, hands-on assignments and video instructions were very helpful.

20. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

Well excel can be frustrating at times. Sometimes there were formulas needed that the instructor did not previously help us with so it was very difficult at times.
