2. If this course was taken to fulfill course requirements for your concentration/major, how did this course enhance your personal and/or professional development in your concentration/major?
It enhanced my understanding for behavioral psychology and was overall awesome and interesting.
A lot of material was covered in this course. Information that would be considered important "background" info and information that I'm familiar with through my "profession". [I don't think any of the material was off topic/subject...]
This course helped me understand learning motivation and behavior methods through Psychological thinking.
I liked how thorough each lesson was to help me better understand the subject rather than just breezing through the lectures. Examples that were given to explain the new terms/concepts helped immensely. The organized set up of the slides were nicely done.
This course allowed e to have a better understanding of how behavior is motivated. If I do decide to go into counseling I will have a better understanding of how their behavior is motivated.

5. Please comment on the activities or resources that could be added to this course to improve your learning.
none
I like that Dr. Hanson made study guides and allowed us to ask questions when needed, but I think maybe optional question assignments or something would've helped me too. I did the study guides, studied, etc I just did not do so well on the exams. [the highest grade was a "C".] I think if there was optional question assignments, that could've helped me retain or understand the lesson material better I would have took advantage of those "resources".
I'm not sure what could be added since it is a distance learning course, however maybe something like an experiment or group project via email and chat sessions would help us gain a better understandng of some principles.
The course was perfect just the way it was

16. Please list your suggestions for improving the course and/or the instructor's teaching style and methods.
no suggestions, Dr. Hanson's teaching style is awesome!
Like I mentioned before, I think if additional optional questions or assignments were available [doesn't have to be grade work] just something that could have helped us retain and understand the course material better I would have liked that and took advantage of those resourcs.
More extra credit, the course was a little difficult but I know I should of adjusted my study habits.
Because there is so much information, maybe having more exams/midterms after each chapter or two. There is just so much information it is hard to keep up and really get to learn and understand it all.
The lectures were a bit too much during the week. Maybe combine a few lectures into 1 rather then several lectures per week.
It was perfect
give points for chat; no one attended the weekly chats
17. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
Awesome!
He is very knowledgeable and definitely knows the subject matter. I like the resources that he gave for the lectures and the study guides for the tests. I like the fact that I could also print out the lectures in a pdf format. He always made himself available to the students.
I though the course lessons were organized [the offline lessons were not labeled, but saving all the lessons "correctly" was doable]. I also like how you assigned the lessons weekly to help us manage our time... I like how we were allowed to email you with any questions and you got back within a reasonable amount of time. I liked how you posted the chat conversations for those who couldn't make them. My overall experience with this course was okay, I just had a difficult time retaining and "really" understanding the material enough for the exams and wish I could've done better.
Good teacher, always keeps us updated, gets grades back in a timely manner
He is a good instructor and everything was made clear at for the class at the begining of the course. He also made himself available if needed.
Awesome!
Great professor. Very clear & thorough instructor.
Professor Mark Hanson has been very helpful giving his student different ways to learn topics throughout the semester.
It was an effective learning course for me.
I love him as a professor. I have another course taught by him next semester!

20. My overall evaluation of this course is...
Awesome!
I enjoyed it because of the subject matter and the fact that I could see the uses of the methods, principles, and theories of the subject matter where I work. I could connect the dots and understand things a little better where I work at.
I had a difficult time with the course just because there is so much information. I had to read chapters over and over again and listen to lectures more than one time so that I culd clearly understand all the concepts. After doing all this, I still had difficulty with the exams. Other than that, the course was fine and I had no issues with the instructor
Very good.
Great! I enjoyed this course.
This course has taught me a great deal about learning motivation.
Very very good
21. Other comments:
Thank you...
Great course!
Althought I struggled with personal family matters during this semester, and wasn't able to keep up, I feel Prof Hanson presented the course well. I will probably take it again from him next semester.
