Her major strengths as a teacher is that she has many stories and examples that relate to the course material. She tells students exactly what she is looking for on her exams and free writes. she is very personable and has a great sense of humor.
she knew the subjects very well and explained it to us in precise details and very understandable.
Her extensive knowledge about the subject. Her ability to capture students respect and attention.
she was able to give multiple examples for concepts & clearly explained them. able to relate textbook information with real life, in an easy & understandable way.
She really knows her subject and always has a personal story to tell us which really helped us to relate to the subject and also helped me to remember the information.

I did not particularly like to address the issue in the fourth FreeWrite assignment, the one about the swinging lifestyle. It should be optional or extra credit, like exchanging it with the male pregnancy FreeWrite assignment. I found the timing of the last several assignments in April and May to be rushed. That included the second Extra Credit FreeWrite, the fourth FreeWrite, the fifth FreeWrite during class, the last Life Span or Service Learning reflection paper, as well as any revisions that needed to be made for the Life Span second paper or Mid Term reflection journal. Some of those should be assigned earlier, by maybe a month or so. I would have liked as many of my papers as possible - not counting the exams - to be returned to me. As of writing, I only have the first and second FreeWrites, and the Place Based SL journal. She requested the original Mid Term SL journal to compare with my revisions. The Chapter Outlines' only purpose seem to be to explain concepts, especially those not in the text, and to clarify what is on the exams. I don't see a real need for them and think they can be done away with.
Just keep doing what you do. Its perfect right now
15. How did the instructor show concern for students?
Always answering question on the spot...
Answered questions and would give alot of examples to help us understand better!
She always reminded us of our exams and encourages us to study.
yes!
By giving them extra time to turn in assignments.
she made sure you knew the subject and was very nice and caring
She answered any and all questions, even if they were last minute.
just being overall awesome.
She showed concern for students by listening and asking students their experiences that were related to course material. She mentioned many times that she was available via email or office hours if we had any concerns. She reads and comments on all free writes and papers, which shows that she does read every student's paper.
she would listen to us if we had questions or any concerns about anything
She let's us know that her office hours are flexible and convenient.
she was available outside of class to talk/discuss anything. she extended deadlines & exam dates if it was appropriate
She really understood what everyone was going through during the semester. She was accommodating when personal matters arose.
She helped everyone who needed help in class or outside of class.
She showed concern by answering all the questions we had and used examples to explain concepts. That made it easier to understand each concept, rather than just getting the definition.
She really gave feedback to students very well.
She tells her students to come in before midway in to the semester to talk about getting a higher grade and what you need to do. She also gives a lot of extra credit that relates to the class.
She always answer questions students has after the class or over the e-mail.
Respecting and inviting any comments and questions during her presentations and she gives students the sense she seriously and sincerely appreciate what they say. She, when grading our writing assignments, takes the time to make helpful comments and suggestions.
She answers her email and phone messages. I've never been able to catch her during her office hours, so she should have more time available outside of classes.
She lets you revise you papers for better grade and makes herself available when you need help.
