13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?

I really enjoyed making my partner's mask, decorating my own, and watching our fantasy stories acted out. I was surprised how much I enjoyed what my peers had to share, and how well I got along with everyone.

I really loved this class! I enjoyed the art, the movement, the activities, etc. It was a really different experience and very therapeutic. I learned a lot about myself through the writing and reading that I did, and also about the course material. I learned a lot from the class as well, which is rare in regular classrooms. The mask-making was fantastic, and I'm glad Trina was able to give us class time to define our masks and lend us her materials. It was really helpful to have been in this class at this time in my life, so I think the Universe sent me this class to endure the hardships I was going through this semester. It is a lot of writing, which I understand, since it's a writing intensive class, and the amount was very appropriate. Not too little that we slack off, but not too much that we can't handle it (at least in the nick of time!). This class has really gotten me into psychology and studying these methods and how the humans interact with themselves and among others, IF ONLY UHH HAD THE OPTION TO MINOR IN PSYCHOLOGY AND HAVE MORE CLASSES ABOUT HUMAN BEHAVIOUR AND CARL JUNG AND ETC.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.<

Everything! This class was just simply amazing! I loved all the movement anthem various ways of expression and just how close everyone gets once the secrets start to unfold. It's simply amazing!

This course is great, because it has taught me to open up and just be myself. There were many activities that dealt with writting, dancing, drawing, and etc. I loved the fact that we just learned so much through different types of expressive therapies. This course really improved my thinking and enhanced my ability disclose on personal issues. Trina is a great instructor who takes the time to listen to me and all my classmates personal experiences and our learning outcomes.

I enjoyed how we had to reflect back upon ourselves every week in a journal. I also liked thr final project, and how we got to choose any art form to present with.

All assignments, lectures and class work helped me to discover more of myself helping be to become a better, more healthy person. Now I will be able to help other more effectively inthe counseling field.

Trina is an awesome professor, and taking this class has made me grow a lot. I think I'm moving in a direction where I can lay down a lot of my guilt and regret. I've recommended this class to a friend and a few people who came to my office. I'll always remember Trina and this class.

This is one of the most interesting classes I've ever taken, and I feel everyone should participate in a course. Not only did the class improve my writing skills, it also helped me realize what has been hindering me from moving forward in my life.

Mahalo, Trina! I'm glad I didn't get discouraged knowing I would enter a WI class and I'm thankful for everything you and this class has done for my well-being. :D

13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?

I liked the information the instructor provided us with because it helped with our project at the end.

Learning about women in general and knowing I am not alone.

I liked all the documentaries that we watched, it really put a face to many of the issues that we were studying. The projects were great too!

The films you showed were great.

I enjoyed all the writing assignments and course work.

The lectures and reading we did were always very informational; we learned not only about the history of feminism and the seemingly misogynistic practices of societies worldwide, but we also kept track of current events regarding women's issues,. The reflection papers required for each of the films we viewed were good motivation to pay close attention to the material. The essays we had to write were challenging, and took critical thinking and problem solving to complete. Finally, our last project had us take what we learned to the community, engaging us in an action research. Although this class was very difficult, I come away from this class confident that I know much more about activism, women's issues, feminism, and social norms (in terms of gender).

Ms. Trina is a wonderful and fun going teacher. Her assignments are inspirational and very mind- blowing.

This class should be a requirement! Everything I learned in this class will help me with not only my academics but also in my everyday life! I am so glas I took this class.

13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?

I liked the videos that we watched in Trina's class. They were about women and it made me realize how much women are brought down in today's society. The writing assignments helped me understand myself better because we had to use metaphors, figure out our gender identity, and write an oral history. I had to interview my grandma and found out things I never knew about my family and myself.

The different subjects covered in the course were raw and highly fascinating. It was an eye opening type of class that brought lots of awareness which i appreciated.

I really enjoyed taking her class and have learned a lot about myself and my fellow women.

Although her assignments were back to back, I did appreciate all the papers that we had to write. I found more connections between the women in my life and myself & I found a new appreciation for all women.

I liked all the different activities and how it was unique and out there. I also liked how we did something different everyday.

I love the whole course! I thought it was fantastic and am very pleased that I took it.

My favorite parts of the class were the interaction between students with each other and the teacher. Also, the depth of what we learned was striking. There are vast reserves of information, with regard to Trina's course we have been able to tap into the specific thereaputic knowledge of symbolism, color, music/movement and art therapy. Through embracing these unique therapies, and the use of these techniques in the field; our feelings towards ourselves and others are transformed.

We did alot of projects and hands on work. We had alot of fun and good activites! The papers were difficuts but i still learned alot.

Nope. It is great just the way it it. :)

More outdoor practice. I feel it is benifical to the student/teacher, as well as patient/therapist.

having kids and growing up.

How much it changed my and how many of the techniques that I learned that I will still be using.

Trina's energy. She is a great teacher and therapist. I wish I could take this course again. Also, I won't be missing my class because we are all friends outside of school.

19. What things did you get from this course that will benefit you personally?

I got a lot of things from this class. I developed an understanding for not only me but other people, mostly girls.

I learned more about different forms of therapy, and learned more about myself as well. I think the personal growth that I did will benifit me whole life long.

This course will benificial in my own life, with emphasis on my own therapeutic well being. As far as with a career, this course helped me realize there are more areas of study involved in psychology, and has broadened my interest in this career field.

13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?

I liked that this class was a safe environment to talk about our problems, past, and future. I didn't think that by taking this class it would have such an impact on my mind, soul and outlook on life. Some of the activities we did were a bit weird when we first did it but made more sense when everything was tied together at the ending of class. I have learned different ways to express myself and different ways for communication. The activities we did I will always remember.

The hands on assignments given to class, and the sharing of the knowledge our instructor had on the different techniques in psychology, and the history of psychology.

Very thorough and effective

I loved it!!!! You really helped us to reach in and dig out all the dirt, in a very loving non agressive way. We felt safe and encourgaed.

I didn't think I'd adjust to this course,but from the first day I was hooked. I always look forward to going to class, and I don't want it end. Trina is an excellent Professor, and I just wish she would be here for next semester. Sure gonna miss her.

The theraputic and life changing practices which increased my emotional health to a more functioning manner.

I didn't think a class could bring out so much emotions that I forgot I had. There are many life lessons and insightful knowledge I gained by taking this class that I will never forget. No two classes were alike which made it fun and entertaining to be in. I liked our group discussions it helped me to learn from everyone else and hear their stories and feelings they went through. We entered the class as individuals and we are leaving as a family. I will truly miss being in this class and the wonderful people in it. This class tested my strength and ability to express myself in ways I didn't think possible. I conquered lots of fears and overcome lots of anxiety through this class. I learned more in this class about myself then I will in any other class.

Trina thank you for all you have done for me in class I really enjoyed your experties and knowledge you shared with me. I learned different techniques to use. Bev
