| The combination of reading, writing, and visual materials made learning in this course an engaged, active experience. Hiroki Igarashi set up the course in such a way that participation, critical thought, and reflection were necessary elements in completing the required work. Igarashi implemented the use of videos, most interesting of which was the India Rising documentary. Teaching the course in this way, he was able to maintain a demanding yet rewarding work load that accomplished and covered a large span of information. |
