15. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?
I liked that i was able to see the assignments in advance to set a great plan on studying and getting work done.
He was so organized and I knew exactly what he wanted from us on the assignments, he even gave thorough examples to not confuse us and make it as clear as possible.
The thorough instructions for each assignment made it easy to understand what was expected of you.
I really appreciated the timeliness of responses from the professor as well as the organization of the assignments given. It was easy to follow. Not too hard but not too easy. The workload is just right. He gives just the right amount of time for us to finish our assignments keeping in mind that we do have other assignments from other classes.
I enjoyed that many assignments asked us to critically think about a topic. We had the opportunity to state how we felt about certain subjects but we're required to back that statement up with evidence. Also most times we were required to write in an academic manner, not using first or second person points of view. This is challenging because many kids grew up writing "I feel this..." or "I know that..." (this is the case for me). It was good training for future academic papers.
I like that there were specific instructions left for each assignment and how to comment on them.
I like how we were able to comment feedback on one another's assignments. It really helped a lot to know what we can improve on.
I liked how we were able to get feed backs from our peers and Brainfuse
Mr. Turner was a very easy teacher to learn from, and was always there to e-mail back within a day if there was any questions about assignments. He wrote personal e-mails to many students in the class to give them advice on how to write papers in a more academic way in order to receive a higher grade. I loved this course and I loved Mr. T!
The best part about this course was the way in which are weekly assignments were organized. I think by breaking it up into many little sub-assignments helped me along with other students gain a better understanding of the concept we were learning and overall helped us to produce a better final draft.
That he offered a calendar for the entire week which forecasted the assignments for the entire week.
I really enjoyed Mr.Turner's approach to writing. It forced me outside my comfort zone and really made me turn inward to reflect on myself as a writer. In the beginning of the course the professor chose to start with a journalistic form of writing that I never had the ability to pursue in an academic setting. Very intriguing and well organized class.
The convenience of having an online class as well as the promptness of the teacher responding to my emails.
16. Which aspects of the course did you like least?
none
Nothing really, he was a very good professor.
Some weeks there seemed to be a large work load, especially when drafts were due. It sometimes hard to produce quality drafts when you have other assignments to work on for the same class as well.
The amount of essays we had to do. Sometimes with other assignments from different classes we have, it may be a bit to take in but once you get the hang of it, its not too bad. The more we did essays, the easier it came to just write as thoughts just come flowing.
I did not enjoy the plagiarism test. That was tough for me to score a 100% on it, and if I had not I would've failed. We were given plenty of time to complete it, but it was still difficult. I didn't think it was really fair that even if you wrote 4 perfect, long papers, completed all your homework every single week, but you failed one test you were going to fail the course. There should've been some alternative to the test or a way to substitute it, or even just some practice that would help because I know I struggled and some of my classmates did too.
I wish the work for the week ahead was accessible sometimes because if i knew I was busy on Monday, I could get the work done over the weekend instead of rushing on Monday.
I disliked how there was a different separate tab from the ENG100 tab that had assignments. All assignments should be together.
I can't think of anything I didn't like about this course.
There isnt much about the class that i disliked or disagreed with that wasnt something of personal preference (my lack of acceptance towards criticism) but this class taught me to embrace it.
N/A.
Honestly, I found that each segment furthered my understanding greatly. I wouldn't remove anything.I would say that writing with the words 'I' were the least enjoyable but I still learned a lot and it was mostly because of the difficulty level.
At first I was confused about how to use laulima. I missed a very important assignment because I did not know how to submit it.

Mr. T was great! I emailed him tons of times for help and he responded to almost all of them. He is the kind of professor who really makes you think and help get your brain juices flowing. I am so glad I chose to take his course because I was afraid since I had been out of school for 7 years, but his class helped me brush up on my skills.
This is my first online class I've ever taken and I must say, professor T (as some of us may call him) is a great teacher. He is very respectful and understanding. I was nervous at first about not having a face-to-face lecture in an actual class, but having a professor like him gave me the confidence to register for future online courses. Out of all the professors I've ever had in the past 2 years, he's the best. I would 100% recommend him to anyone registering for English 100.
Thank you Mr. T, this was my first online class and yes, it was challenging-yet easy and fun all at the same time. So thank you so much I really learned a lot! And I would totally recommend you to everyone!
Everything was well put together and organized. An easy to follow curriculum is very important in an online course and Mr. Turner was consistent and helpful.
This is the First college class/semester load i have ever experienced and to have had such an extent of help (break downs of the main paper topics, peer reviews, etc.) throughout the semester was very helpful and helped me get through it.
I would highly recommend others to take this class from Professor Turner.
The only thing I wish is that I received more feedback in comments in the beginning of class. I was completely on my own for a good part of the course and found that the only way to receive feedback was by going to the writing center. Peer comments hasn't really worked out for me.

Nothing to improve on, he is the best!
Make his instructions for assignments more clear and give better examples that someone of all ages will understand.

I actually liked a lot of what was provided for this course. All the assignments has helped me improved a lot.
Interaction with classmates.
He was able to give us feedback and he always update his laulima which is very helpful
Mr. Turner made assignments challenging yet helped me learn more about reading and writing in different styles.
Mr. Turner provided many examples of the materials and his expectations. I appreciated the examples, they were able to provide me a better understanding of what each assignement entailed. I love that there were not tests and quizes throughout the course. Without tests and quizes I was better able to focus my attention and hard work on the writing requirements. I was able to learn more studying the writing and reading assigments than taking quizes and exams.
16. Which aspects of the course did you like least?
None
Assignments over lapped and got me confused on which ones were due.
My last essay, the 10 page was a challenger. Thats the least I liked.

12. How can the instructor improve the teaching of this course?
I don't have anything to explain about his improvment, because he is always prepared.
I do not Know.
everything in this course does not need improvement.
Provide more challenging work so that students can push themselves into achieving there goal. Handout deficiencies to students who arent attempting to pass. Help out students when in need.
Maybe work on the Reading Plus.
I don't think Mr. Tuner needs to improve at anything. The only thing that I think he should do is drop reading plus. I my opinion, it was a waste of time.
None
My instructor does really good at teaching, but one I would like him to add refreshing our memory on what we learn in the past and using what we learn for the future. He does that, which is great. I'm not sure what else to add because he is a great instructor.
I don't have any idea, but I feel he is a very good teacher.
Less work, if you can. That's it.
noting its good already
The instructor could improve this course by giving better and more interesting topics to write about. It would keep those students who love to write interested and looking forward to the next assignment.
The instructor is good on teaching of this course. I don't think that there should be any improvement.
Nothig
be more fun.
nothing really, he is a good teacher.
none at all
This instructor can improve the teaching of this course by an interesting part of the presentation in class and should keep students informed of their progress in that english class and be well organized with the students work!!
some of the student dont still understand some of the work clearly including myself ask the students that they need to step up to him or her to really know if you understand the work more clearly.
13. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
very helpful. He is always prepared to instruct us, he is well organized at all tyhme.
He is a good teacher.
Very good instructor. Made all assignments clear. I was glad that I had this instructor.
My overall for this instructor is excellent; Everything the instructor lectures students he provides examples, ideas, explantions, brainstorming, and step by step on the work the students do and students learn from it.
Mr.Turner is a wonderful teacher and wish i could learn everything from him. I improved so much from being in Mr. Turners class.
Mr. Turner is a great teacher. From the start of the semester until now, I have learned so much from him. He gives us fair amount of work, makes sure that we know what's going on, and is a really cool person.
a great instructor and gives everyone a fair chance to turn in their work.
Awesome! He has taught me to be a better writer and reader. This class also help me by speaking better and saying words that I learn in my class. I did some typing before I got to this class, but now that I have taken this class, I have seen a huge improvement on how much I've gotten better at writing. I'm now a better writer then before and I writer more then I thought I would ever write. My fear of writing essays are now gone because I write essays all the time. When I was in high school, I didn't like to read at all. After I finish with high school, I never read again until I went to college and took English 8; Basic Reading and Writing. At first I was reading for a grade, but after reading so much, I love to read even if I don't have a grade for reading. I really enjoy this class and I can't wait for the next semester because I would love to know what challenges that may come to me.
Even though there was alot of homework, I really ejoyed this class.
This teacher is very respectful and good for people who need help with English.
10 out of 10
My overall evaluation of this instructor is good.
A good instructor that explains things clearly and very well.
He is very good about what he teaches. This was my best class
that he is good.
i learned well in your class but i wish i could have done better when it comes to homework
10/10
This professor is a really great and cool teacher in my english class!! He taught us so much things!! One of the assignments was reading logs w/vocab and comprehension evidence, making essays, reading novels, all textbook work from two different english books, and giving quizzes and tests after each lessons taught!!!
Mr. Turner, is the one of the best teacher that i had ever had, and that most of these student are some what not comprehening some of the work because they are ashame.
i love his teaching
