4. What did you find most valuable and helpful about the course?

| I learned a lot of grammer and punctuations. We learned so many different things. This was a great class! I had a great instructor. I think I should have kept a journal on all the things that I learned. I really did improve this semester. Thanks to Mr. Chatenever. |

I have learned alot about myself and my writing skills and although I will never go into a career involving journalism, at least I can say that my writing skills have definitely improved. That is important to my current job as a sales manager. I appreciate all that I have learned this semester from Rick Chatenever. |
| Mr. Chatenever was a great instructor who made me feel very comfortable with talking to him & asking him questions. He was open to new ideas and was very encouraging. It was a very hands on class that opened me & my mind up to different and new things. |

12. How can the instructor improve the teaching of this course?

| He did a wonderful job. I have no suggestions on how to improve this class. |
| Maybe just be more available for help. |
| Give more time for the research paper because it seems like there's just barely enough time to get it done. |
| Sometimes, the class got a little boring BUT I wouldn't necessarily blame it on the teacher. I think it was just the fact that it was an early class so I would be tired so I wouldn't be completely awake all the time to devote the amount of attention that I could have. |
| Add more in-class writing just for creative thinking or writing. |

| I would recommend it to anyone and if it was necessary for me to take another English class, I would want one just like this one. I really enjoyed this class and I can honestly say although I didn't obtain a perfect attendance, I am really sad about that and every time I did go to class, there was always a good laugh, or something that was just the icing on the cake. |
