14. How can the instructor improve the teaching of this course?
He can improve teaching this course by using different teaching methods instead of lectures that would make the course seem more interesting.
Since summer courses are where the class has to learn an abundance of material in a limited amount of time, homework should be explained more thoroughly. Many students, including myself, were very much confused on the homework assignment because the what the instructions are indicating are very vague. So better instructions will improve the knowledge of the students and actually explaining waht you want in the homework assignments would do all of us good.
He could make the assignments more challenging (not by increasing the difficulty but by leaving more room for creativity).
His teaching was pretty good. My scores on tests and homework were on the high side, so his teaching was fine.
He can improve the teaching of this course by providing explanations of concepts a little more thoroughly and sometimes speeding through a concept can make it difficult to understand.

Examples and pictures helped during the slide show, so I suggest adding even more to make lessons more comprehensive.
Nothing. Did a good job.
15. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?
I liked that there wasn't an overwhelming amount of homework each week.
I liked the video clips that he has shown us because it helped me to understand what he is teaching in visual terms and I thought that that was really helpful.
Professor Rempala's acting skills, his sense of humor, and his excellent choice of examples. Slides were great, too.
I liked how he used various examples to illustrate psychology terms. Also, the movies he showed to help us learn about psychology was awesome because not only was it entertaining, but it reinforced what he taught. I also liked his sense of humor.
I liked learning about new psychological disorders and treatments also learning more about those psychological disorders I already knew about. I also liked the format of exams and how exam reviews and assignments are posted online early.
I thought that having the powerpoints were a very useful study aid.
I liked learning about the general aspects of psychology because it allowed me to find out which subjects I enjoy more than others.
The videos that helped reinforce what was lectured.
16. Which aspects of the course did you like least?
I didn't like that we only took notes everyday.
n/a
The assignments were too straightforward and didn't let the students delve into subjects they were most interested in, they didn't motivate to read something more than the textbook. To be fair though, they were a good a way to put the learned material into practice, and checked if a student understood the material.
Nothing really. It was an overall enjoyable course.
I generally enjoyed taking the course.
I disliked when the lectures were really long.
I least liked the lessons regarding parts of the brain because I am less interested in that subject.
The boring lectures, but can't do anything about that since it's the nature of the class.

The lectures were impossible to fall asleep on.
It was a great class and I learned a lot.
The instructor was creative and engaging in his presentation of material. He also had reasonable expectations for his students' learning outcomes. This was one of the most interesting courses I have taken at UH Manoa.

14. How can the instructor improve the teaching of this course?
third time taking a class from this professor for a reason. very good teacher that uses good examples that can relate to his students and stress the importance of things covered in lecture. i dont think he really needs to change anything. will take a forth class from him if possible
Awesome instructor!
for summer course, Daniel's teaching is perfect because it's a short term
He use many different examples from his past events and was able to communicate those examples effectively to the class.
he can use more examples for explain something.
I think the content of the course was really good but I often found the use of filler words such as "um" to be distracting in the lectures. I also think encouraging more student interaction/involvement would have been effective in teaching the lessons.
I think he's doing fine.
