Yes, I would highly recommend taking a course taught by Mike. He explains all the material in a way that is easy to understand. The way he conducted his classes kept me well prepared for all homework assignments and tests.
Yes, he made various complex concepts easier to understand through his instruction.

The only negative thing I can think of saying about Michael Joyce is the fact that he is not teaching Math 135 at WCC. If he were, I would have signed up for that class for Spring 2011 first day of registration. It's not too late to offer this to him, and add an additional 135 for next semester.

He let us ask questions about certain problems after class.
by asking questions and making sure everyone is on the same page
by telling them when they need help. gives tipes and advice. teaches us how to pass obstacles
Went over problems that were hard. He broke the problem down into small parts for better understanding.
Always asking questions, he also went over the material as slowly as he possibly could.
He made the solution manual available on laulima and went over homework problems in class that most students got wrong.
He made sure to ask to see if all of the students were understanding the material being taught.
He will tell us to come in for help for a test or how to retake a test.
he allows students to turn in work late if it is not on a regular basis.

He is a good instructor, he had to overcome alot of issues this semester , like getting hit by a car and having some major back issues, i was amazed that he would still show up to class and willing to teach us.
He knows his subject well and can teach it clearly for us to understand.
He's a really cool guy.
He is funny.

Yes and i have so far the best math teacher i have taken from at WCC and i hope he stays around so he can teach his subject to others
Yes, because he knows his subject and gives clear notes for us to take down and refer back to when doing homework problems from the book and to help study for the chapter exams.
Yes, he is able to clearly explain the lessons to the students and makes sure that they have the opportunity to do a couple examples before moving on to the next problems.
