5. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?

| I like the fact that we were able to discuss the readings. Taking turns leading discussion helped
make it feel like we were all learning together. I think the size of the class helped me a lot as well. I
usually have a hard time focusing and often feel intimidated to give my opinion in large groups ( I
feel I don't have enough knowledge about issues to make educated comments) but the small class
helped me to open up a little more.
I also liked the fact that you were not bias to any side (or it seemed). If someone would say one
thing you would argue the opposite, which I think really helped me open my mind to different ideas
or opinions. Thank you! |
| I really enjoyed our class discussions. It opened us up to hearing different points of view and thinking more critically about issues that are often engrained in our character. |

| I think everything we did in the class was valuable. However, the reading were long and I probably
would not have been able to keep up if I was taking full-time credits. As I said before, It was so
worth it. |
| I wish that the listing of readings that we are to lead the discussions on had a brief synopsis. This would allow us to chose a topic that is relevent to our bill, and help us write our paper. |

| Thank you very much! Usually I don't remember much from most of my classes because it is usually
reading to study for a test. I know I said this before but the discussions really helped me. I would
walk out of class and I feel like I could relate something I learned to some current event I heard on
the radio driving home. I guess what I am trying to say is that the discussions helped me retained
what I learned by applying it to real life. And honestly I have never felt like I learned so much at the
end of the semester. Thank you!! Hope you have a good summer! |

| It was very enjoyable class. Lot of work but how can one acquire great skill without one. I believe that this class has been by far the best political science class I ever took. |

| The small class size was beneficial to the learning environment. If the class weren't only 14 students, I would not have been so engaged in the material and discussions. |
| This course was the hardest classes I've ever had in my life, but it's a good
thing. It really forces you to think. And I like how passionate and
willingness to help student, it really helps a lot and keeps you motivative.
because the content of this course is really hard to grasp the concepts and
theory. but here explanation really helps a lot. We need more passionate and
