6. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
Prof. Niewijk provided us with many life skills to use in any situation. She brought the class to a new understanding of the problems that are in other cultures. Many students weren't aware that these conflicts. The visual medium used in class was a great
Learning about the different multicultural interactions through visual examples and video.
I really liked the method of watching films, It is much more interesting than reading page after page, and you get a chance to have a visual for the people in which you are trying to study. I would recomend many of those films, they really changed me.
Documentaries the professor shared with the class.
The variety of videos really helped to open my eyes to the many cultures we are surrounded by. Learned of the many issues faced in many parts of the world and now have a different attitude about many things.

7. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
The workbook, wasn't integrated into the course well.
I had no idea where I stood and the teacher never got back to me in emails. She is a student herself and didn't have any time to teach outside of the classroom. I wish it would have been a more personal classroom experience rather than the teacher not k
Maybe the number of handouts passed out. If their is a way that the information could be sent through email that would be great. We could save a few trees. : )
Maybe some direction using lectures or class discussions could have been used at least once or twice to get an inside perspective of our peers' feelings and/or attitudes towards the many issues we were exposed to.
