| the class discussions were most informative and entertaining in an
intellectual way |
| The course was on globalization and post-colonialism, so there were many parallels in what we were learning and issues that often arise here in Hawai'i today. He helped me to look at many topics with a different perspective that I do not think I would have found anywhere else. |
| Thinking about appropriate questions to ask, thinking analytically about the issues concerning post
colonialism and globalization. |
| Professor Opondo was extremely knowledgeable about what he taught. He was very helpful when it
came to finding sources for our research topics. He paid a lot of individual attention to our writing
and research. He gave very good feedback which helped me write better and articulate my thoughts.
A lot of the information he taught was thought provoking and interesting. |

8. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?

| i would say that the class presentations for readings were kind of useless
only because it is rare for everyone to read the whole reading because it is
so lengthy usually |

| The only thing I would say is the room equipement. Our Projector broke a lot and we couldn't finish
some of the materials he wanted us to view. I felt the videos and clips shown were very valuable, but
sometimes it was hard to view them with the falty projector. |

| He was very passionate about his lectures and what he studies. I am very grateful that I chose to enroll myself in this course. He is has a wide discourse of knowledge on the subject. He was an awesome instructor for that short period of time! |
| I felt the instructor was extremely intelligent. He could talk about any subject or question we had. I
really enjoyed the class and material we discussed. I felt it was challenging and made me interested
in the subjects to the point where I want to learn more when the class is finished. I recommend this
instructor to political Science majors and International relations majors! it was a really good course! |
