6. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?

| I really appreciated the pace and method of teaching used in this course. Things were explained clearly and effectively. We did not move too fast or too slow. |
| Econ 301 was a deeper economics of 130 so the terms were mostly from 130
however she made the terms pretty clear and reminde us of the terms which was really helpful. The study guides were also a big help. |
| I enjoyed the fact that she was able to better explain some concepts using
her own words and examples which i found easier to understand and thus was
better able to comprehend the text later. |
| The lectures in conjunction with the powerpoint slides were extremely helpful. |
| I loved that Ms. Bogach seemed to really care about her students. She is always friendly and helpful. The first few classes, she printed out handout versions of the powerpoints for everyone, which I think was very thoughtful.
I also loved how the quizzes, homeworks, and powerpoints are extremely easy to understand and helpful, and it is one of the first times I actually feel confident taking tests in class. |
| Olga did a very good job with her lectures. I felt i learned a lot and retained a lot from the lectures she gave. |
| I felt that this course took advantage of being able to learn calculations, graphs and realistic situations through many examples provided by the professor. There were many extra credit opportunities that could be taken advantage of to make up for small errors from homework and quizzes. Instruction was always clear and effective. |
| The most valuable aspects were the detailed explanations and exciting examples that were offered in class by Olga Bogach. Considering the short 6-week semester, she was able to cover all the material in details without glancing through.
She is a very good teacher who never puts down our opinion but offers a better way to look at the case.
She always asks if there are questions regarding the course material and make us feel comfortable to speak up and ask for clarification. She meets with students even out of her scheduled office hours.
Along with interesting economics experiments offered for student participation as an extra class activity, the class was awesome.
Olga Bogach is a great teacher! I would take more classes with her in the future. |

7. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?

| Communication outside of classroom was not good in my case. I had a lot problems going on in my life that I couldn't communicate in person to her, and when I tried emailing I still think she couldn't understand. |
| since it was a summer session, the pace was a little too fast however she tried to cover much as possible during class |
| Time was too short to complete everything we wanted to complete. |
