13. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher?
Always showed concern for students and very helpful.
Amy is very knowledgeable in nutrition and she gives information that is relative to everyday life which is great.
She knows well about nutrition.
she provides clear instructions
Amy was helpful through email outside of class (online), giving advice and helpful tips to complete homework and tests.
I find Amy's strengths as a teacher to be that she is very prompt in her grading of tests and homework assignments. Since she is a online teacher, there really is not actual time to get to know her. But she very prompt in returning tests, assignments and emails.
I don't know since it was an online class
14. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor?

Come into class more and help us learn because sometimes we just chose not to read if we don't have too
15. How did the instructor show concern for students?
Updated students, emailed students, always offered to help students.
Amy would encourage us to ask questions if needed and she was always available to help with any problems we were having with homework assignments.
She would give us the chance to resubmit our assignment if our grade was really low. I like it when she would comment on our assignments and the wrong answers on our tests. It is very helpful.
By emailing them and giving her concern out to them, suggesting tips to help the situation.
she shows concern by always being available online and helping us understand something.
She made the effort to email her students back and asked if we had any questions.
I don't know
16. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not?
yes, very good teacher
Yes. Her class is very informative and useful and she teaches it in a way that is easy to comprehend.
Yes, I would.
yes, she answers questions in a timely manner
YES, she's a good teacher who's willing to help and give suggestions.
Not at all. Total disregard for critical thought. One cannot learn when no outside the box thinking is facilitated. She is a by the book rules kind of person, meaning whatever the institution "thinks" is right is what she believes to be the right way. If one took a look at our current global situation with over 1/2 (at least 3 billion people) of the global population living in utter poverty and despair in our so called age of abundance, one could conclude that the current institutions might not have it all figured out. Just because it is not directly affecting the physical world at this program necessarily, does not mean it is not happening or can't affect us all very soon. If our current diet practices are working so well, why are over 500,000 people in our country every year dying of coronary heart disease, let along the other 450,000 from tobacco? Obviously the age of double speak is everywhere including our own institutions of education. I personally remember doing an assignment on fraudulent nutrition items. The item I chose was a prescription medication sold by a large corporation being promoted by a news corporations as a healthy way to combat flu season. Then I was immediately that prescription medications have nothing to do with nutrition. This is completely irrational, anything that goes in a person's system is a part of nutrition, period. Although, she later understood, it is the idea that anything coming from the student is disregarded and wrong because it didn't follow the exact pattern. This is the same kind of thinking that leads us to believe that war will create peace. History has shown this to be a farce, and so are these restrictive thought patterns. Only in questioning every aspect of a subject through pinpoint scrutiny can an observable truth be revealed.
yes. I like her. I think she is a very nice and interesting teacher.
No, but if your going into the meda program it is mandatory
17. What else would you like to say about this instructor?
She is a great teacher.
Although the course was through Laulima, she would have the time to email me back fast when there was a concern.

21. What did you like most about your online course experience?
That it was made easy to navigate and complete assignments and communicate with the instructor.
I adapted well to where I have to read the materials twice to understand but I got a hang of it.
did not have to waste time in class and got just as much out of the class
That its online and that we didn't have to come to class on campus. Also, so we could submit homework assignments online (on our own time) and at anytime before the deadline.
I like the flexiblity it has. With the MEDA program, it is nice to be able to fit tests and assignments in between whereever you have the time. (which is not alot)
This was my first online course and I didn't really like it because I'm so use to physical class. I didn't like it because I was I like face to face teaching, and it was a bit hard to catch up for me since it was online.
Wasn't forced to read
