Ross Langston knows his material well, even though some of the material is incorrect and needs to be fixed or updated. The only suggestion I have is that to prepare students better in the classroom and for exams is to occasionally have quizzes on the chapters learned. Just reading and listening to the subjects may not fully be retained. I understand the student needs to put a lot of study time on the side, but I feel like I would retain it if I took the class again next semester when available.
He isn't boring with his powerpoints, knows the answers to random questions people ask, and likes his subject. If you don't do well on the exams you're screwed, but besides that, I think it's a great class. He's a really good teacher and I'll be taking him next semester :)
Ross Langston is amazing teacher I love how he teaches the material so that we understand it the best to our knowledge. The only negative is that his test are crazy hard its so much material to remember
Great teacher willing to help outside of class and tries to give funny and common examples to relate to the topic learning.
Great lecturer, learned alot, uses class time well, provides good examples.
very smart teacher! knows his subject well.
I learned a lot from this class and I am happy that I took his class even though he has very high expectations. I think he is a great preparation for the nursing program.
One of my favorite professors I've ever had. Windward community college is very fortunate to have such a great person and instructor on staff.
he was a great teacher! definitly learn alot! very helpful!
Being more specific about extra credit opportunities.
He knows his stuff and is good at putting difficult terms into easy to remember terms. It also helps that he is funny so if you remember his stories... Mostly the clumsy ones... You will remember the information related.
Ross Langston is greatly suited for his role as an instructor for this class. He is a good teacher and knows the material. He meets the challenge of transmitting the large amount of NEW and complex material in a relatively short span of time.

Great instructor!!!
He gives really good examples from his past experiences and gives humor to the class with voice imitations. Also has a nice loud voice during lecture because I doesn't make me fall asleep.
He sometimes does not give ever student a chance to absorb the material he is teaching. Also, his study guides include more material than what he actually taught in the lectures. I had to use Google.com a lot when studying them.
I understand that there is a lot of material to get through in this class. Which is why I think it would be better if there were exams more often, maybe every to chapters instead of 4 or 5. There was so much material to go through to study for the exams that I would find myself flustered and overwhelmed. Also, I think it would help to have hw assignments to help retain the information. There is just so much to memorise! As much as I enjoyed this class I really had a hard time with it. However, Prof. Langston is extremely knowledgeable regarding the subject and does a good job at giving examples to break down concepts.
Great teacher but has a hard time trying to explain all the material in the time he is given for class. he tries his hardest to but there seems to be to much information that needs to be learned. Or some of the information we are expected top have already known.
I forgot to add in the survey for the lab class that I loved lab class. Ross is great in that class. He is always willing to come around and help us with procedures or pointing out anatomical structures--whether he's wearing gloves or not. The lecture class was great too. Over all, good job and good teacher.
He was a very good overall teacher and i enjoyed being in both his classes. He had a good sense of humor which made his classes enjoyable to be in.
Ross is a good instructor who understands how to convey information and content of the course
Anatomy and Physiology courses cover lots of detailed and complicated material--there isn't time in one semester to get it all done. We had to leave out some subjects that I would have found interesting. My only complaint about Ross was a failure to follow through on exams. We learn from our mistakes and like to pat ourselves on the back for those things we do right. Again, I think time was a factor. All-in-all, I think Ross is an exceptional educator; knows his stuff and connects very well with his students. Thank you, Ross, for an interesting and informative semester.
