7. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?
She was very informative and felt passionate about her topics and stories as well as conveying vast amounts of knowledge for each topic that was presented.
Some of the literature pieces were very interesting and at a good level of Korean that was not too easy but not too challenging.
some historical fact of the korean essay and class discussion
It was great how we could go over several traditional Korean literature. Although I've already had some background knowledge of the literature from previous learnings, it was a good and useful refreshing opportunity to further learn about trad. Korean literature.
I like reading the original text even though I have read many in translation
Able to learn literature of Korea in depth
learning korean literatures
8. Which aspects of the course were least valuable?
I didn't see or feel that any aspects of the course were any least valuable.
A few of the literature was very difficult and VERY time consuming to read the whole literature. I showed some native Korean speakers (from Korea) and even they had hard time reading it. Maybe these few ones should be omitted next time?

It was a little ì??ì?¬ì?? that we couldn't go in deeper in each reading due to lack of time. May be lowering the number of lit readings and spending more time on each literature could be helpful, if the objective for the course was to allow students to really focus on all the literature.

Best Teacher Ever
Overall fun class. Professor is pretty knowledgeable in the content and has a funny sense of humor every now and then. The professor is nice and approachable.

1. As for the discussion part for each literature, I felt like it wasn't really discussing may be because everyone was too hesitant to speak out?, but may be discussions can work better if the grade for participation was actually to be affected. Also, teacher insights were very helpful during discussions but sometimes (may be due to lack of time,) I felt like teacher gave out too much before the students got to speak, so there wasn't much to add on after. 2. To be honest, I felt like the student presentation wasn't that much of work. (although it was beneficial for us in terms of workload and grade..) Because it is very easy to find information about the literature online (the ones we had to put on our handouts) , the only part I think we 'actually' had to put in much effort, was creating the discussion questions. May be if there was less number of students and more time, students could actually be fully responsible of one whole literature and present their findings as they present what they've found while reading. And teacher could add on to that after. (This is how I first thought student presentation was going to be like, like having ppt slides, may be a related video clips.. etc but after seeing the first few presentations, I realized it didn't have to be so much work) Overall, this class was very helpful in my Korean language learning and I enjoyed it very much. Thank you :D
She should teach more classes
