13. What are the instructor's major strengths as a teacher?
He's a great people person! I mean you can talk to him without feeling awkward or nervous like most teachers make us feel.
well knowledgable in his subjeft matter.
He was clearly presentable. He had patience. He was very well organized.
Everything. Best teacher I've had in a while.
Mr. Moore was always there for me if I needed to ask questions.
He really thinks about students and he has a lot of knowledge.
He knew the subject matter.
14. What changes, if any, do you suggest to the instructor?
No suggestions. Keep up the good work.
A slower course content
None.
It would be nice to know our grades as we go along.
At some times I felt this class was a self teaching class. I think that less exams and tests should be from Simnet and more from what we learn in class.
Make the project requirements more clear or even go over it in class so we can have a better understanding of what we're supposed to do.
15. How did the instructor show concern for students?
He tells us all the time that we can e-mail him if we have any questions. And that he's available most of the time right after-class during his office hours.
He talked to us individually anout our postion in class.
He encouraged students to go visit him during office hours. He always made sure he had time for students. He was always in class 99.9% of the time. He devoted more of his time for his students then himself.
Offered his office hours and email to students constantly, and was always there to help.
Mr. Moore always brought his smile to class and made me feel comfortable. He was always open to suggestions and really helped me to get an A in the class. If he was more closed minded then I might not have gotten an A.
He cares about students very much. He always asks if we need help on something. I usually hesitate to talk to teachers, but he made it easy to talk to him.
He encouraged us to see him in his office after class if we need any help.
16. Would you recommend this instructor to students? Why or why not?
I would definitely recommend him to other students interested in learning more about computers. You will not be bored.
Yes, he has a funny sense of humer in teaching.
I would positively recommend Tom Moore to other students because he provided a positive learning experience and a great learning environment.
Yes, definitely. His class was difficult for me, but he made it easy to learn.
Yes. He is a fun teacher to learn from.
Yes. When I had questions, he researched about it and gave us answers.
Yes I would recommend him because I did learn in his class but not as much because I had already took a similar class to his my senior year in high school.
17. What else would you like to say about this instructor?
none
Great teacher. Give this guy a raise.
I really enjoyed his class. He's funny and tried to make classes fun. I always had a good time in class. Also, first, I thought this class might be the most difficult class for me, however, Mr. Moore kept me motivated, so this class was actually my favorite class.
