5. Which aspects of the course were most valuable?

| The handouts and grammar point presentations were very structured and organized |
| Writing essays was the most valuable as it not only helped to improve my writing skills but also allowed us to incorporate all of the skills that we have learned up until this point. |
| The teacher was very knowledgeable in the course material. |
| Jung is a native speaker and thus knows her material very well. Also, she is friendly and
approachable should I have questions. It is important for a language teacher to be friendly and
approachable since language is arguably the most complicated and confusing subject, and I tend to
have a lot of questions. |
| Learning Korean grammar, language and whatnot were very helpful! I love the

| That the class was small enough so that the professor could see how each individual student was doing, and help each individual students understand their mistakes. |

| I do not like it when the whole class reads together. I cannot hear my own voice amongst a crowd of
others. It does not help me at all. |

| Great course and instructor! |
| I suggest that instead of having the whole class read together, each student should take turns
reading lines in the dialogue in front of the class. That way Jung can see each student's problem
area in pronunciation, and also the student can hear themselves and others better and compare. |
| Excellent course! I'd recommend it to students who have completed KOR201 and
are looking for the next step up. |
