Perhaps more announcements or class discussions? To engage and involve students in the material/topic of our blog for the week.

No need for improvement.

I think he could improve his teaching by giving us a textbook that we could fall on if we ever struggle because just having the internet available for everything was a bit hard. But other than that everything was great.

No suggestions, the course is well designed and taught, and the subject matter is interesting.

Have the web format a little more easy to understand... Aside from that, all good.

16. What did you find most valuable and helpful about the instructor?

His knowledge of the course material from the disabilities to the when, who and hows of not just special education but education. It was very helpful that he promptly returned emails or any communication.

Always willing to help.

He was willing to answer any questions I may have had, and he responded right away. His class was very well organized. The assignments that we had to do were separated by weeks, and each week we had a specific area we were to post a blog on.

All the videos on youtube was very interesting and very helpful. His teaching techniques is very different from what I ever had. I enjoyed this class.

The way he did his directions step by step.

For an online class i thought it was very well organized, easy to navigate, and i always knew when things were due.

His quick responses to individual concerns and his enthusiasm and witty nature which made me feel comfortable communicating with him.

The entire class set up was valuable. Sean Koegel designed the class in a way that everyone could learn and succeed.

The vast sources of information provided to us to complete the given assignments was very helpful.

23. Which aspects of the course did you like the best?

The blog, being able to reflects and creatively channel our work through our blog. It was not just test, test, quiz and such. It was a great way to present all of the material to ourselves and back to our instructor.

Teacher was knowledgable. I like that the course was avaliable online.

Everything was interesting.

I liked the organization of the class. The website that the teacher used was an easy way for us to post our assignments. He provided all the course material to the class, whether it be videos, or reading, or web research.

I liked that we could have the chance to grade ourself and then he would give us feedback after we would turn in our assignments.

Learning and gaining some knowledge about special education.

Very well or ganized.

Learning the details about many different intellectual and learning disabilities.

I liked the variety of options we were given to demonstrate what we had learned for each unit.

It was an online course, which fits my strengths of using computers. Also, we had to grade our own assignments, to which the instructor would decide whether we were good on our self-grading, or if the grade should be different. He also gave his comments on each assignment with his ideas on how we can improve next time.

I enjoyed the course... it was very straight forward and to the point.

24. Which aspects of the course did you like least?

Alot of work but it was beneficial.

The weebly for assignments.

None.

I didn't like how we didn't have a textbook to follow along with. Using only the internet was hard for me because I like to have my information available not only online. Sometimes I would have a hard time because my computer at home would not be able to connect or would give me problems while I was researching and when I went off island I couldn't get one either. It was very difficult for me just using straight internet for research. I love online courses and I did enjoy this one, but I would like to have a textbook next time.

That there was so much information to read and know.

I was a little overwhelmed trying to learn about and remember all the teaching standards and strategies presented in the course.

The website on which we submitted our work was a little funky... For example, font and justifications not working right or not staying...

This teacher was excellent and provided an environment where the student is responsible for their own education. He didn't need to give constant reminders.
