A really enjoyable and challenging class. I am grateful for the fact that online classes are available. Now i have the opportunity to return to school, while working full time. One thing i would improve upon would be the confusion between modules and forums. They had similarities, but was told to use the forum material instead. Other then that, great class Ms.Christine was always there to answer my calling.

This class was supurb and easy to understand. I also liked the layout and how it was very user friendly in Laulima.

Very Good! I really liked having online classes. Hansen was able to help at all times.

I'm sure that she is a great teacher, I'm just really struggling with this in an online course way. I don't care for the online forums way that she does things. I prefer the Assignments tab instead. I would LOVE if the books we were assigned, had the free online powerpoint for each chapter. I also haven't used any of the books and am not sure when we were supposed to ever read any of them.

Christine is a very great teacher. I love that she gives feedback for everything we did in class. It helped me become a better writer. I did better in this class then i expected myself to do.

I guess I was unprepared for this class. I thought it was going to be a breeze for me because I always liked English and writing. I had a hard time reading and grasping the concept of the book. Maybe I'm just a slow learner and I probably needed the interaction of being in class. This is my first semester in school and the two classes that I took are online. It doesn't help either that I don't really know how to use and navigate a computer Haven't attended school in over 35 years. Hey, at least I tried. It was a very interesting experience.

I felt there were excellent guidelines to teaching the students college-level writing skills. Ms. Hansen did a rad job. I appreciate her constant reminders in what I had to do.

Christine was a great professor. She was always available for questions on assignments as well as always reminded us of her office hours as well as we could call or chat if we could not get to LCC. Any problem or question I ever had, she answered as quickly as possible. I want to thank her for her help.

Ms Hansen is a really good teacher, she always answered my questions within a couple of hours, and she made gave a lot of time to do assignments.

Professor Hansen is not organized and that made it hard for me to learn and complete assignments. I believe the essays that she assigned were too complex and time-consuming for a beginning English student. At the same time, she did not provide adequate help, knowledge, or resources needed for essays of that length. There were several different versions of directions given in announcements, the syllabus, and the forum, which was extremely confusing I didn't know which one to follow. She did not have an updated or corrected syllabus available throughout the semester, even when asked. I wish this course Laulima page was more organized, there were so many dead-end links on the page, it made it hard to navigate and find the important information. I think it would be helpful if the professor provided directions on how to post assignments and forum discussions. I noticed the reading assignments did not follow the subjects we studied throughout the semester. For example, when the first essay was assigned we were supposed to put it in MLA format, however the Unit on MLA format was assigned weeks later. In other words, some of the assignments weren't relevant to the Units we were learning at the time.

I thought that this was a good class but didn't like how after the weeks lesson closed I couldn't go back and look the material. Also I felt that the times to turn in the assignments should have the same instead of different hours everytime.

Christine Hansen has made taking English 100 online easy to understand. She made it clear about what she expects from us every week. Whenever I had questions, she replied within 2 hours-3 hours. Great instructor!

I loved taking classes on line! Aloha

Christine Hansen stressed the important points in class and always remind us about the assignments and due dates, she also gives us a chance to make up for late work. Christine Hansen is the best english teacher in LCC and i would take her class again. this time ill be more active and not left behind- thanks ms. hansen

I really enjoyed this class. I thought the work load of a writing intensive class was going to be very overwhelming but overall Ms. Hansen was a great instructor. She supplied the class with a class syllabus that stated everything the course required and also included a class schedule for us to follow weekly. I recommend her class to anyone needing a writing intensive credit

I enjoyed being in your class and was a pleasure to volunteer and read out loud to the class. Your a great British Literature teacher Ms. Hansen and congrats again on getting a Doctor's Degree. Hope you have more success in the future and have more fun seeing new students in these upcoming semesters while you are teaching here in Leeward Community College.

She didn't come to the last day of instructor, so we had to turn in our papers to the English department. She didn't return our papers in a timely manner. We didn't get to see how we did on our Essay #2 because she didn't return it to us, and the day that she was supposed to return it to us she wasn't in class. The assignments are related to the text/subject and she explained them pretty good.

She's a good teacher. Her lecture is really clear for me to understand. She's funny and care about the students. I enjoyed the way she explained the idea of poems.

Great class. Easy to get into class discussions if people participated more.
