| This course was great, it really got me thinking about a lot of ethical issues, which is great. But a
lot of the exam really tests my ability to memorize and less my ability to think critically or conclude
ethically.
I know Valerie would rather have the class test thought and profundity. Maybe she could do that

| One of my favorite professors of all time! Valerie cares so much about her students that it's
ridiculous. She made me want to learn, which has been very rare in my whole education career.
She took the time to learn each of our names and things about us, again very rare. She is very
personable and so easy to talk to. If we had a question or a problem she would always address it
immediately and make sure it is resolved before moving on. She has so much energy in class! I
don't know how she does it at 9am but she held our attention and was always enthusiastic.
Although I am not very passionate about management, I learned a lot and appreciated her
commitment to her students. Thank you for the opportunity to learn from you professor! Maybe we
will see each other surfing or paddling canoes one day ;) Aloha. |

| This class would have been better if we were given guidelines on how to
complete the paper. For some of us, thinking outside of the box, when we've
been taught and grew up with low tolerance for uncertainty is a really
difficult thing to do. I rather have the professor give us guidelines and if
we decide to take a no credit/ credit course, then, we could learn on our
own. |
| This teacher is amazing! When I needed help for the homework, this teacher made time for me to go over the homework to make sure I will get the most points possible. She is patient and willing to work with students not only online but also in person. Even though she is grad student, it is amazing how much time she will give to her students and the passion she has for her class is amazing! I loved this teacher, and will recommend her to all my friends! |
| Prof. Rosenblatt is probably one of my favorite professors at the University. She always comes in with a smile on her face and is so helpful and really cares about her students. |
| The group project was extremely challenging but has helped me grow as a student and paralleled with what was taught in class. Should probably incorporate group member evaluations since some of my group members did absolutely nothing and got a good grade I worked hard for. Valerie is a great teacher! |

| I think that there may be some benefit from the case method. Also, I think
that this class is intrinsically flawed because a lot of this material
simply can't be taught in the classroom, but learned through experience.
Nevertheless, I do think this material is extremely important |
| Prof. Rosenblatt was very enthusiastic about the course and took the time to make sure that we understood the subjects and often encouraged students to speak up their minds in class. I really liked how she provided youtube videos in class to demonstrate what we are learning in class. However, I feel that the course could be better if the entire exam was not just multiple choices and True/False. It would be nice if she had some short essay questions in addition to the multiple choices to show whether we really understand the concepts and can explain the concepts well. |
| It was somewhat unclear sometimes on what you wanted in the assignments. For example, the
written ethics exercises: the topics were given but it was sometimes difficult to know what exactly
you wanted us to write about. But you didn't grade us harshly, and you were a very understanding
teacher. |
| There was 5 small written assignments, one individual writing assignment, group
presentation, group business plan, and 2 exams plus the cumulative final. Overall, there
was too much writing for the class. Bus315 should be a writing intensive class besides
ethics class. My business plan was 25 pages, individual writing assignment was 5 pages,
and 5 small written assignments 10 pages, all single space, totaling 40 pages single
space. This is too much writing for a non-writing intensive class. I've had writing
intensive classes that didn't require the amount I was assigned in this class. Too top it
off, we also had exams. Some of my other classmates in other Bus 315 classes final is not
cumulative. All Bus 315 classes should be structured the same. |

| Professor Rosenblatt is a great instructor. She's very enthusiastic about the course material and I
feel I've learned a lot from her class. We were assigned a lot of writing assignments to the point
where I feel this should also be a writing intensive credit, however it was definitely beneficial. It
pushes us to enhance our writing skills. Overall it was a great class. |

I was excited to come to every class to learn something new and she always made it interesting and fun and gave examples that I could relate to, so it was easier for me to understand. |

| You taught great, but we should be aloud to test out of general business
courses and not be forced into taking these courses outside of our major. We
spend 8 classes (24 credits) of our time in Shidler in courses outside of our
major while only 15 required for it. Something needs to change. |
| Great enthusiasm. Valerie brings energy and passion to the class, which makes doing work for her easy. She incorporates the ideas in the text into her teaching and it shows. Always helpful. Sometimes she graded a little harshly, but I understand why she did it. She wanted to get students attention so they would perform to her standards. I would definitely recommend her to my friends. She will make a great professor when she earns her PHD. |
