15. What did you find most valuable and helpful about the instructor?
|
| He tried to present the material in a interesting way so that it would appeal to students, making it
more fun to learn instead of just boring context all of the time. He also does a VERY good job in
describing information that may seem confusing or unclear. He's very understanding of students
and their situations, but maintains fairness at the same time. Also willing to answer any questions if
needed and very approachable. Overall a very funny guy, which is great especially since professors
can be a little too serious, making the class unenjoyable. He also makes clear what the grading scale
is so there aren't any surprises. |
| He explained the material very well by giving good examples that relate to everyday life. |
| Trys to relate content with students |
| I found that his humor and memorable examples made the class interesting. |
| He tries to make the lectures funny and interesting. |
| He's great at coming up with examples for the materials that he teaches. |
| He ties in interesting and good examples during his lectures. |
| Young so he knows how to talk to students without losing our attention. Gives examples relating to people our age. |
| He was able to relate to us as students in a way that helped us gain interest in the subject matter. |
| I really liked that he made lectures funny. In most classes, students aren't really engaged in what the lecture slides say - they just take notes and leave at the end of the class period. But I like how he incorporated a sense of humor into his presentations - it made going to class and taking notes more enjoyable, and made us relate to the examples given. |
| The powerpoint slides helped me out a lot in the course. |
| He tried to present information in an interesting way and have it relate to the students. |
| He was nice and always willing to help out and answer questions. |
| When a question was asked, he would answer it. If he could not then he would
research the answer |
| powerpoints were very clear and direct |
| The lectures are organized in a way that it acts as an outline of what a student should read about in a chapter. |
| You made things I wouldn't normally find relatable, interesting and more familiar. |
| keeps lectures interesting with humor |
| to understand how the feeling of human is structured |

19. Other comments:
|
| Best psych teacher ever. |
| I think that the exams that Professor Mo gives out are very reasonable and is relative to the content that we've been learning in class. I also like his testing policy: you may come late, but if the first person who completes their exam leaves before you arrive, you may not take the test; it prevents people from disrupting the class when we've already begun, and yet still gives a fair chance to everyone (and he will still allow tests to be taken if you had a very valid reason for being late). All in all, I enjoyed this class, and I look forward to taking more psychology courses in the future. |
| Some exams for smaller sections like this should have an option for students to be able to refer to their notes or textbook if/when they get stuck on a question. |
