19. If you were teaching this course: a. What would you do to improve it? b. What would you change?
I truly don't have anything to give as a respond to this question, however, I can only say that when I go back home and if I ever leave enough to be a teacher, I would apply the same method and technique that I learned from the teacher to y class.
Nothing, she was quite consistent in her teachings and very creative in making learning fun for us.
I wouldn't change a thing. The teacher was well prepared and I can honestly say that I have learned a great amount of new things.
20. What do you think of the teacher and his/her teaching methods?
The instructor teaching methods are very important mostly to the subject because they make me clearly understand the english grammar foundation. For example, now I know how to do analogies by following what I have already learned from her. She is the type of English teacher that we need especially, the english students as second language in order to develop concrete knowledge. FInally, I would like if she could hear this short comment from myself. Pb
She is great! You can tell that Ms. Hendrix has a passion for her job. It comes so naturally for her and she has this spark that enlightens all of her students. I've had excellent english teachers (like Mrs. Calles) in the past, but I now have to say that she is even better. She makes learning fun and uses a lot of analogies so that we can relate to what she is talking about.
Christine is a friendly lady and she explained all of the material very clearly and effectivly.
I think that Ms. Hendrix is an excellent teacher. She is well organized and extremely patient. She explains the materials and assignments down the very last detail, but still gives us room to learn on our own. I really learned alot about critical thinking in this class.
21. Has he/she contributed to your general knowledge or to learning job skills?
Absolutely, every time she explains something from our chapters, she would say something from her own knowledge to make us understand the idea. This is very essential to our learning process to expand our understanding.
Absolutely! I actually learned a lot of things that I learned a while back in high school as well as new things like "FANBOYS" that I will never forget. She has made me feel a lot more confident in writing an essay as well as possibly assisting me in writing better papers to help me with scholarships and job opportunities that I will be looking for shortly.
Garentee!!! Before I took this class I didn't have good essay or grammer skills and now I'm writing essays like nothing and my grammer has greatly improved.
Yes, most definately.
22. Other comments:
I just want to say that she is the best english teacher I have ever had this semester.
Thank you Christine for the passion that lives in you that we see in each and every one of your classes that we have attended. You are a gift that keeps on giving. Good luck in your future destinations and thank you for making our English class so much fun!
