13. What did you like about this course, such as activities, projects, assignments, etc.?
What I liked about this course was how it was full of essays, but was given a good amount of time to do it. We had peer review groups in class that helped me in my essay.
I liked this course because it really helped me become a somewhat better writer and I learned to write better grammar. I liked the essay assignments we had to do because it gave us a chance to relate to different topics we wrote about and when we peer edited it was liking opening up something personal in our lives. Even though I struggled with some of the essays we had to write I managed. The grammar homework prepared us for the weekly quizzes and test and got us ready for one part of the final exam.
I liked doing the different types of essays, and how I can use them in an argument to prove a point in writing and verbally.
i liked everything about the class Tanya Dean is a great teacher and she knows her english!! even though i could not make it to some classes she was still always there every step of the way.
She was there to help us when ever we needed it we could e mail her to talk or even meet her before and after school
I liked that we took each essay broke it down and learned what key things, keywords are used in that specific essay.
I enjoyed the essay that we were assigned to do. They helped me become a better writer.
I liked the way Tanya worked with us and her passion to teach us do a good job. It was a pleasure learning from her, and I would wait to take ENG 100 with her in fall 2013. Thanks for having her teach us. The ESL classes were great and helpful too. I hope we continue with them next term because it is very important for us none English speakers to have extra help. Thank you.
I was able to put complicated ideas into well thought-out essays, thanks to tanya. She has a very supportive attitude which inspired me to work harder.
I liked how Tanya Dean was very helpful and gave nice feedback on what areas I needed to work on. Very great instuctor.

Tanya would always walk around the class to each student to see if we needed help.
Thank you Tanya Dean.
Thank You Tanya for all your support.

I did all my work and was very attentive in class and yet I have a low but passing grade. I would have expected a better grade with my attentiveness in class and my persistence in my homework. She may need to lower her expectations just a little.
