2. If this course was taken to fulfill course requirements for your concentration/major, how did this course enhance your personal and/or professional development in your concentration/major?
This class has allowed me to learn how to be a better writer and creative thinker.
I took this course as a requirement for my general education portion of my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I learned a great deal about writing different types of papers and how to combine two types together in one. I also learned about research and how to write an effective research paper. I will be taking all of this learning into my future courses and my own classroom because I learned how to write effectively.

5. Please comment on the activities or resources that could be added to this course to improve your learning.
Because this was an online class, we didn't really have an opportunity to interact with one another unless it was through our chats. I would think to better the class experience, have some days where we could meet.
If anything could be added, I would ask to have more lectures on MLA writing because it was required but not covered in full detail.

The professor had a good teaching style. Very willing to help students if they needed it.
I feel like the course is just fine and moves at the right pace. Nothing can really be improved about the course or the instructor.
17. My overall evaluation of this instructor is....
Instructor was very helpful even though it was an online course. Seemed very willing to help students when possible.
Dr. Helfand was always willing to answer questions and encouraged us to call if we ever needed help. I feel that I learned a lot from him and he always gave good comments on how to improve my writing. After all, I improved from a B paper to an A+ paper throughout the course. I would definitely take a class from him again.

This course was good.
Overall, I feel like I've become a more effective writer and I feel very comfortable with writing now. I really enjoyed the freedom in this course because I got to write about subjects I felt passionate about. If he assigned a topic like other professors do, I feel that I wouldn't have done nearly as well. I really liked the freedom of writing in this course and would recommend anyone to take this English 200 course.
