| I think that Sean has a lot of knowledge to share about archaeology, special places in Hawaiʻi, and
legalities pertaining to them. He is very inspirational and provides a good foundation for anyone
living here or wanting to learn about Hawaiʻi. |
| The different variety of instructional techniques(powerful guest speakers who are up to date)used and the methods (Huakai's)to present course material were more than appropriate for this class. Not only was this a hands on type of class, but to see wellknown lectures, was awesome. |

It is nice to hear how my peers are dealing with such drastic cultural changes in Hawai'i. I hope that the conversations never stop, they are helpful and many young Hawaiians like my self need the opportunity to discuss and share our mana'o with each other. |

This class has also taught me that just because I am trying to succeed in a western world, that does not mean that I need to abandon the traditions and customs of a kanaka Hawaii rather I can use both to help me succeed even further in todays society. |
